Dark Eldar
237 AFK
After several days of continuous fighting (encounter battles), the Dark Legion suffered approximately 2000 casualties, but absorbed over 4000 new elite monsters, insect monsters, humans, orcs, werewolves, and other races. They also gained 300 gold coins, over a dozen sets of various green and blue weapons and equipment, and countless wooden bows, old wooden shields, and lightweight greatswords.
During the battle, the elven prince Ilet merely watched from afar (a rather sleazy observation). His elven sister, Eliza, hadn't even left her room when the brutal war was won. Victory was so effortless, as if it were only natural; aside from the constant bickering (ue23c4; fast forward 2), no one wanted to think much about it. Even when a "Watcher's Badge" occasionally dropped from a city lord, the leadership simply rolled it in as usual. Dark, being a villain of the dark forces, didn't have a strong need for badges. He preferred the "odd weapons" dropped by monsters (paying attention to vine-enchanted weapons). The young elven prince Ilet merely clicked "Greed" to collect badges to later boast to his grandfather, Elder Izo. The elven sister was already tired of the endless war; she longed for peace and quiet, or even just a passionate "romance."
The Gwent Swordsman (level 50) progresses rapidly (his secondary job gains experience). His Swordsman skills 1 to 5 in his skill bar are very similar to "Western swordsmanship" in this other world. In this other world, physical classes are severely suppressed. Skill books such as "sword manuals" that used to sell for high prices at the auction house are now unwanted. Some decent intermediate sword manuals can be bought for as little as 10 silver coins. (Note: Mages generally don't learn physical skills. Their strength is too weak; even if they master skills like slashing, thrusting, and chopping, their effective damage to enemies is practically negligible. Physical classes also don't learn magical skills. If you let the Barbarian King learn "Arcane Missiles," it'll be like a sneeze—it's fine for a bit of fun, but in battle, using the wrong skill will be fatal... Especially in other worlds, resurrection requires "Order" approval. Kevin Garnier, being a level 2 map, is cheap. In the multiverse, the management of level 2 maps is relatively lax; some even turn them into "warehouses" for heroes to store items, which is a complete waste of their potential.)
During lulls in the fighting, Dark would occasionally set aside his pride and talk to Ludar.
"Ludar, there's no need for formalities between us in private. The war is tense right now, and I don't have many people I can trust anymore," Dark said calmly. He even intentionally removed his black mask. ("Terror Mask," level 80 bound, purple rarity. Forged by the Dark Legion's most outstanding master craftsmen, although not a "divine artifact," its added magical skill and the extra "dark energy" it contains are insane! And its "special effects" are truly remarkable: the mask allows a clear view from the inside out, while from the outside, only a pale blue energy mist emanating from the terrifyingly deadly black mesh can be seen!! It's a completely custom-made "dark-themed equipment," a unique "non-set" item!)
"My lord, you are absolutely right." Ludar knelt on one knee, not daring to look up at him, and even uttered a line. (Suspected "offline" OR "temporary departure")
After listening, Dark understood Ludall's thoughts, assuming he was simply tired from fighting, and then vanished, floating away unnoticed. (Note: Even with all his power, Dark couldn't force others to confide in him; Ludall understood the dangers of serving a ruler, and sometimes preferred chatting with bounty hunters about life rather than opening his heart to Dark... because revealing his true thoughts could have disastrous consequences, or even indirect consequences, especially now—in war, death is inevitable; it's better to simply "go offline"...)
Beneath the "Terror Mask," Dark possesses a remarkably dashing appearance, making him a true "top dog" among dark elements. It's safe to say that any woman, male or female monster, human or elven woman, would be drawn to his cold and powerful features. (Note: Dark's ID, the Dark Messenger, may have been chosen through a rigorous selection process...)
While in stealth mode, Dark, hovering at a low, steady speed, put his dark mask back on. He hadn't expected Ludal to be so unsurprised to see his true face. He had to add another layer of wariness to "Ludal."
Despite his formidable combat prowess, Dark remained acutely wary of heroes of lower rank (VIPs and unaffiliated individuals). He dreaded disloyalty from his subordinates, especially those like Ludar who appeared outwardly respectful. The more Dark could completely intimidate Ludar, the more uneasy he felt about him. Perhaps this was part of Dark's brilliance!
In his youth, while studying dark magic, Dark thoroughly read "ancient history" and "skill introduction books," including "selected walkthrough manuals" (some of which were abridged excerpts from otherworldly "commandments"). He knew that "level suppression of anyone might only be temporary; once everyone reaches a 'high level,' simply relying on DPS to intimidate subordinates is unwise, even foolish..."
After seeing "Commander" Dark off, Ludar quickly and quietly closed the doors and windows. The training grounds outside were bustling with activity; with Gwent swordsmen and the "aging human mage" keeping watch, he no longer needed to "trouble" there. Ludar was already well aware of the proverb "the rabbit dies, the hound is cooked" from another world. The "Dark Legion" was now like a massive "killing machine," with a large number of new recruits being brought in daily. The number of dead and wounded warriors and elite monsters was far less than the number of new recruits, not to mention the number of surrendered heroes and monsters. Even the "stubborn Oni" had started a new guild and raid group. The Dark Legion was advancing rapidly, almost dominating "Kevin Garnier."
