Dark Eldar
22 Awakened "Rare Elites"
In the Void Fortress, the Barbarian King awoke after a long sleep. Chests of fine wine were piled in the corner of the storeroom. He smelled the aroma of the wine.
Ludal didn't bring the barbarian king a lavish meal. Did the barbarian king want to break down the door? He held back. He wasn't hungry; he just wanted to continue bullying the weak, even if it meant killing a "commoner" for no reason.
"You'll never understand the mindset of a bad person, even if they sometimes seem like a good one."
This is a famous quote from Isef. The "bad guys" of Isef's time were a thousand times worse than the Barbarian King! They were once terrifying "ogres"...
The barbarian king tore the wooden box apart with brute force, bit off the cork of the wine bottle, and drank Ludar's fine wine as if it were water. He desperately craved "freedom" and disliked being imprisoned.
Dark Messenger Dark had almost fully recovered, and he decided that it was time to set off as planned.
"Ludal, gather your five men immediately! It's time to set off!" Dark appeared and commanded.
"But they're all in the city, not far from us. Can I send someone to call them?" Ludar pleaded, his summoning stone having just "cooled down" and he didn't want to use it again.
"Enough talk! If you complete this mission well, I'll reward you with a Dark Gathering Stone! (Short cooldown)"
"Alright. Thank you in advance, Lord Dark!" Ludar was very good at setting conditions, subtly asking for a "reward."
Aside from the Barbarian King, the other four were easily teleported over. The Enchantress was wearing a purple dress and high heels today. The Assassin was covered in sweat, probably having secretly increased his "Agility" again. The two bounty hunters were both "hunched over," in a "battle stance," because they had spotted the Dark Messenger above—Dark! They wanted to offer a good price.
The Barbarian King is probably "asleep," as the Summoning Stone is ineffective against beings who are confused or "dead."
Rudar was sweating profusely with anxiety. He continued to cast the spell, trying again, and dared not say another word.
Seeing this, Dark had no choice but to inject his dark magic and forcibly pull the Barbarian King over!
The moment the barbarian king was gathered together, he was still holding a wine bottle in his hand. He seemed truly drunk this time.
Dark Lord, the messenger of darkness, was furious to see that Rudar's men were no longer capable of fighting!
With a wave of his hand, a "Shadow Wave" flew silently, severing the Barbarian King's left leg!
"Ah! My feet! My feet!" the Barbarian King roared, trying to unleash "Stun"!
But when he saw that it was the "otherworldly" Dark in front of him, he obediently knelt on the ground and begged for forgiveness!
"You're awake?" Dark asked.
"My lord, please don't kill him. He is a rare elite barbarian monster," Ludar pleaded.
"We don't have any priests here, can you still fight?" Dark asked. He knew that disabled warriors were often more brutal on the battlefield!
"I can still fight! I can still fight! Please don't kill me, my lord! My treasure chests are all yours, my lord! Here's the key! Here's the key..." Blood was streaming down the barbarian king's lower leg behind his knee; his blood was green.
"Alright, go get your wound bandaged up, find a cane, and remember! This is your last chance!" Dark said expressionlessly.
The assassin quickly helped the barbarian king to the back to bandage him and stop the bleeding. The alluring woman secretly handed the assassin a medicine bottle to help the barbarian king recover health.
Seeing this, the two bounty hunters, Wind Fury and Ghost Laughter, dared not act arrogantly any longer and withdrew from their fighting stances.
After seeing Dark's fighting prowess, they felt that their own skills were utterly insignificant!
Outside the council hall, the barbarian king's heart was bleeding. He saw that he was missing a leg and kept trying to reattach it, but to no avail.
The slayer patted him, gently used gauze to stop the barbarian king's bleeding, and then stuffed the medicine that the seductive woman had kindly given him into the barbarian king's mouth.
"I used to be the one breaking people's necks! I never thought today..."
Sitting on the ground, the Barbarian King panted heavily. His health potions were restoring him incredibly quickly, and he no longer felt the pain. He seemed to have "awakened."
