Dark Eldar

189 Loki's "Little Secret"

The "Battlefield" is the sacred ground where all heroes bravely fight their enemies. It's their training ground, and a necessary step in unlocking level 150 in the Order system. If a "war" is forcibly declared, all people and monsters in this other world will once again be shrouded in "Darkness." The "Order" encourages people to fight bravely...

After the meeting, Loki returned to his dormitory. Several beautiful elders followed him. Loki used "teleportation" to shake them off. Even elders over level 100, especially the women, couldn't help but feel "admiration" for outstanding new heroes. Having seen the world, they preferred "young people" rather than leaders with talent and "strength" like Elder Schopenhauer. Of course, Schopenhauer's status and charisma were no less than Loki's.

Loki finally made his way back to the dormitory. The otherworldly mage dormitory was a "private place," and anyone with a relationship level below 80 couldn't enter. Loki wasn't even friends with them, let alone had any "intimacy points." (Intimacy points were an early, limited system. Once a certain number of heroes were acquired, even "high-ranking elders" who had seen through the world's illusions would inevitably add random "friends." "Being harassed" used to be a major factor in declining reputation, along with the rampant spam of false messages like "little GG," "power leveling," and "guaranteed pass!" After the "Purification 21" update, the new "intimacy point" feature was introduced, and harassment significantly decreased. Even Schopenhauer was once "disturbed" when someone offered a high price to transfer his ID, which Schopenhauer directly "complained" about! As a result, that person was completely "blacklisted"...)

The otherworldly apprentice dormitory not only houses Loki (floor 10), but also Benjamin VI (floor 7), who returned early, and Edward III (floor 15), who is in good spirits. In the evening, both of them coincidentally visit Loki's room, wanting to ask him some questions. (Since Edward and Benjamin are both Loki's friends, their intimacy levels are 230 and 156 respectively. These levels increase annually, but will automatically decrease if conflicts arise.)

"Senior Edward, what a coincidence that you're here too?" Benjamin saw Edward and couldn't hide from him. The corridors of each dormitory were very long, designed for "safety." They were built by goblin masters to prevent assassin attacks. There were also "echo walls" (made of special woven grass, blue) on both sides of the corridors, a high-level magical item that could reflect damage and remove "concealment."

"It's been months since I last saw you. I don't think your level has increased much, but you've matured quite a bit! How is it? What have you learned from Loki?" Edward III asked with a smile.

"Yes, Senior Brother Edward, I've learned a lot of concepts from Senior Brother Loki that don't exist in this other world, some of which I still can't understand. His ideas are too advanced!" Benjamin replied, standing at attention.

"That's great. I want to learn from him, but unfortunately, I'm already set in my ways. You still have room for growth." Edward was very clear about his situation.

"Finished?" Benjamin asked, puzzled.

"Yeah, look at my class, a warlock. Do you think anyone still plays a warlock these days? Even 'skill books' are hard to find everywhere. While SS has been unsealed and low-level skill books are widespread, mid-to-high-level ones still require exploration. Look at you, you're already a high-level mage, just like me. That time, you advanced with practically no change, while I... sigh! Never mind! I really regret it." Edward III said, pounding the wall with his back to Benjamin. The "Echo Wall" immediately absorbed his "physical attack." He was really feeling the strain of the late game. Fortunately, he had already reached an "agreement" with the "BB" cyclops "Kyklops" to "advance and retreat together," otherwise, it would be a real "headache." ... (Note: Edward III's summoned creature is very special! It's a demigod epic monster. It will be incredibly powerful in the late game. Enduring some hardship in the early game is for the sake of its later "strength"—Edward III already understood this! His ideal is...) The reality is, there isn't even a single skill book available. The "test" facing Edward III must be borne by Edward alone. If becoming a "powerful figure" were so easy, there would be no fun, no interest. Only through numerous difficulties can one overcome new "difficulties" and achieve a true sense of accomplishment.

While Benjamin and Edward chatted, Loki was "negotiating" in Elder Schopenhauer's room.

"Master Schopenhauer, the dragon nail you requested last time, I have finished 'forging' it in my spare time. I believe it is perfect as a base component for a divine artifact. The drop rate will be increased by at least 1!" Loki said respectfully as he presented it.

According to the "universal principle" of other worlds and even multiple worlds, the more "pure" something is, the more "precious" it is! The "quest item" Loki submitted this time—the "Dragon Spike"—while superficially indistinguishable from ordinary dragon spikes, was forged, disassembled, reforged, and disassembled again using the artifact "Mold of the Creator"... This repeated process eliminated all possible impurities, excluding the "Dragon Spike" itself. This "quest item" Loki gave Schopenhauer can truly be called a "Dragon Spike"!! Only in this way can the "drop rate" of artifacts be increased. Many heroes, while aware of the "universal law," all use the "synthesis method," that is, using other identical (or similar) items of dubious origin from the auction house to synthesize new items. While this method is "effective," it doesn't significantly help in forging "artifacts"... This is also one of Loki's "little secrets," which he doesn't want to reveal yet... ...
