Dark Eldar

Benjamin VI found himself in debt of 100,000 gold coins for no apparent reason. He intended to repay Loki 20,000 gold coins first. However, Loki said, "Don't rush, we'll split the generous reward 50/50 after the treasure chest quest is completed."

Loki showed Benjamin a "black market map." Benjamin took the map, looked at it for a long time, but couldn't figure it out. "I've got it upside down!" Benjamin quickly turned it over.

"Summon your fastest mount, Ben! Follow me!"

Both summoned "Void Otherworld Military Mounts." Their resistances differed slightly. Loki's green Void Beast naturally had higher resistances. Benjamin's red Void Beast had fire resistance. Edward III's was also red-eared and had fire resistance. (Randomly assigned; exclusive mount for high-level otherworldly mages, capable of flight; 20020 "Otherworldly Aura," totaling 220 speed bonus)

Their destination was the Temple of Zul'Farrak (531171), an ancient orcish place of worship. Now abandoned, it's teeming with elite monsters. Ordinary people call it an "ominous place." The temple is surrounded by overgrown weeds, swamps, ancient trees (undeveloped), and perhaps even frogmen. Frogmen sound terrifying, but they are simply an ancient amphibious life form, as ancient as the Temple of Zul'Farrak itself.

At first, Loki flew at an extremely high speed.

"I was hoping to arrive before noon! But now it looks like we're still halfway there. We have to take transportation!" Loki suggested.

"Okay, I'll do whatever you say!" Benjamin was new to the area and naturally unfamiliar with his surroundings.

"The nearest Torta has an airship! That'll give our mounts a rest! Otherwise, their happiness level will drop drastically later, and it'll be hard to recover," Loki said. ("Happiness level" refers to the level that any mount, pet, or baby needs to maintain. While not exactly the same as "loyalty," they are similar indicators. The more loyal and happy a pet is, the more it can help loot and bite enemies while fighting monsters!)

This was Benjamin VI's first time riding in an airship. The airship's controllers were short goblins. They were particularly fond of joking. As the airship was about to depart, one of the pilots smiled at Benjamin and said, "You don't seem too happy, do you?"

"Maybe, maybe not," Benjamin replied.

"Hey! Focus on driving!" Loki chimed in from the side.

Several soldiers were "dancing" on the "deck" where there were no safety railings! They were really energetic!

"Loki, shall we join in?" Benjamin asked. He was young and quite interested in new things.

"Go ahead, it's too windy up there, and it'll take another two hours. I'll wait on the next level!" Loki said, as the latest chapter of *Eldar* was released. Loki descended the wooden stairs into the rest cabin. The airship had two levels, while more advanced airships had as many as five.

The airship started moving very slowly, but gradually began to accelerate!

"Full speed ahead!" shouted Uncle Bob, the airship's helmsman. The once clearly visible, exquisite landscape suddenly rushed past. Benjamin found it quite amusing.

"Hey! Human mage! Are you going to that map too? Polsa Town? For the annual 'Holy Fire Festival' (a traditional festival of the ancients)?" The dancing youths were all full of energy. There were orcs, humans, and dwarves. Benjamin saw that they were only around level 15, but he wasn't "inferior" at all!

"Hello! My name is Ben! I'm from Thunder City!" Benjamin used his original "alias." He didn't dare to be too conspicuous. The name "Otherworld" was too resounding; even if he didn't say his name was Benjamin VI, just mentioning the word "Otherworld" would make others hesitant to greet him casually. Benjamin certainly didn't want to do that.

"Oh, I've already reached the temple. I need to go there to upgrade!" Benjamin said.

"Hey! I see you're a high level, but don't die. The person accompanying you doesn't seem like a priest!" the orc lad kindly reminded him.

"Thank you for your advice! We'll be more careful..."

The two-hour journey ended quickly.

"Have a pleasant journey!" The goblin crew waved goodbye as per protocol.

"Hey bro! Shall we go watch them level up?" the level 15 orc asked the human rogue next to him. (Level 17)

"Come on! That's a level 40 area. If we go down there and leave the station, we'll be instantly killed," said a level 17 friendly human rogue.

"Farewell, human mages! May you succeed!"

Goodbye, my friend!

Benjamin bid them farewell. Although they hadn't added each other as "friends," they exchanged pleasantries and talked about topics other than leveling up. Benjamin felt he had learned a lot. At least he understood: "Combat power might not be the lifelong dream of every 'hero'! It's very difficult for 'punk heroes' around level 15 to improve further. When I was their age, I was already 40. They couldn't even pass the basic warrior qualification exam. But they were still happy, fighting monsters, earning money to buy mounts, or other equipment..."

"I just took a nap. I saw you guys having a good time up there, didn't I?" Loki asked deliberately as they left the temple airship station.

"Hmm, not bad! Let's summon our mounts here. It's probably just the two of us here. There's no one else..." Loki said.
