Chapter 32 Home Game Against the Heat

Oracle Arena, players' tunnel entrance, just before their turn to play.

The host was busy assigning starting lineups. Monta Ellis had left the team, and the Warriors' starting lineup was temporarily: Curry, Klay Thompson, Dorell Wright, David Lee, and Lin Bei.

"Stephen, how about you headline the finale?"

After Monta Ellis left, the Warriors lost their absolute core player.

With David Lee going first as usual, the host glanced at the other four before finally focusing on Curry.

Curry didn't respond immediately, but instead looked at Lin Bei with a puzzled expression.

Lin Bei gave him a questioning look, and then Curry said seriously:

"This might be your last start, Best. Why don't you headline the game?"

"Get lost! Who the hell said this is my last start?"

Curry meant well, and Lin Bei knew that, but he really didn't think this would be his last start.

Just Andrew Bodog...

He waved his hand to Curry and refused, and Curry just shrugged and didn't insist.

The Warriors' lineup order is now set.

The host returned to his seat and raised his voice: "Everyone, stand up!"

"First up is David Lee, number 10, our starting power forward from the University of Florida!"

David Lee rushed out, and immediately the four people in the passage heard a deafening roar of cheers coming from the entrance.

Lin Bei was moved to second position, and he heard an announcement: "Next up is number 7 from China, our starting center Lin Bei!"

He strode out, his ears filled with the same enthusiastic cheers.

In the Bay Area, Linbei has indeed gained a group of fans. In the Oracle Arena with 20,000 seats, a quick scan of the camera can already spot some fans wearing the number 7 jersey.

It's hard to tell whether these fans' number 7 jerseys belong to Jeremy Lin last year or Linbei.

As soon as Lin Bei got to his feet on the court, he saw LeBron James on the opposite side of the court.

James also saw Lin Bei, and the two exchanged a glance.

The next second, James pretended not to care and turned his gaze away.

Lin Bei made no attempt to disguise himself; he simply stared intently at James's back.

Just like before the game, he told Bosh to come at him, which was quite direct.

When Little Potato was shocked, Lin Bei explained it this way: "There's no need to hide it. Everyone knows that I'm irreconcilably opposed to the Heat and LeBron."

So, as the game was about to start, Lin Bei faced off against Bosh at the center line, and he was still very direct.

"I heard you're going to teach me a lesson? Is that right, Chris?"

Bosh was taken aback, clearly not expecting Lin Bei to be so direct.

He immediately nodded frankly, acknowledging what he had said.

Lin Bei pressed on, asking, "Why? I remember we have no grudges against each other."

Although he only stayed with the Heat for a few days, he got along quite well with his Heat teammates.

The main reason is that people from Linbei are quite outgoing and can chat with anyone.

When he encountered James and Westbrook, he immediately declared himself a fan of the other team, so his attitude was definitely not a problem.

As for Lin Bei's dunk over James later, he even posted the video on Twitter, which angered James.

Lin Bei admitted that he had left James room to maneuver.

After all, in that tweet he kept mentioning his idol and paying homage to him, so James could have easily taken the opportunity to back down and just made a few lighthearted remarks.

But James is James after all. He is not a magnanimous person. Without considering any other solutions, he directly and ruthlessly killed Lin Bei.

Let's put aside the feud between Lin Bei and James for now.

He now wants to ask Bosh: "What grudge do we have against each other?"

Bosh opened his mouth, but then fell silent.

He and Lin Bei truly had no grudges against each other.

But he quickly realized: "You're the Heat's opponent, so it's my responsibility to teach you a lesson."

Lin Bei sneered: "Don't make it sound so high-sounding, Chris. In the end, you're just LeBron's dog."

Bosh stared wide-eyed, his face filled with disbelief. He hadn't expected Lin Bei's remarks to be so violent.

"you……"

Before Bosh could think of a way to respond to Lin Bei's violent remarks, referee Joe Crawford strode over and interrupted the two.

Lin Bei gave Bosh a final defiant glare, and then, at Joe Crawford's whistle, leaped into the air.

……

"It's jump ball! Dahlin outjumps Bosh and gets the ball first. He's in great form despite being suspended for three games!"

"Wow, that's a really fast jump..."

CCTV will naturally broadcast Lin Bei's comeback match, with the commentary duo of Coach Zhang and Yu Jia.

Lin Bei won the jump ball right away, and the two of them showered him with praise.

Unlike CCTV, the two commentators from TNT at Oracle Arena, Magic Johnson and Mike Breen, were analyzing the starting lineups of both teams.

According to Magic Johnson, "After trading Monta Ellis, the Warriors' roster strength has declined significantly, making it difficult for them to compete with the Heat, who have a Big Three."

"Look at the Heat's starting lineup for this game: Chris Bosh at center, LeBron James and Shane Battier at forward, and Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers at guard."

"A small-ball lineup, they seemed to completely disregard the Warriors' offense, they didn't even have a proper center to protect the rim..."

After some analysis, Magic Johnson observed that the Warriors had already advanced to the frontcourt.

Lin Bei didn't go directly into the penalty area, but stopped at the top of the arc and turned to block Curry.

Curry broke through Lin Bei's screen and quickly drove in.

Bosh instinctively took a step back to try and slow Curry down.

Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that the basketball had actually been passed to Lin Bei through a hand-off pass.

He rushed towards Lin Bei, but fortunately Lin Bei didn't intend to make a move directly.

This handoff play was something Lin Bei had discussed with Curry before the game.

Lin Bei now has the basic version of the White Chocolate Pass, so naturally he's going to use it.

As soon as Bosh let Curry go, Lin Bei made a quick bounce pass.

With a thud, the basketball bounced back and headed straight for Curry, who had cut in and shaken off Chalmers.

CCTV's Yu Jia, with his sharp eyes, exclaimed in the first second: "Wow, Da Lin's pass was great! He found Curry cutting in right away..."

Curry received the ball and immediately pulled up for a jump shot.

With a whoosh!

TNT has also started praising them.

Magic Johnson commented, "That was a brilliant play. The handoff improved the quality of the screen, and Best Lin's pass back was extremely precise."

"At the start of the game, Stephen Curry hit a pull-up jumper, and Best Lin also had an assist."

On the court, Lin Bei and Curry high-fived in celebration. Curry, who scored after receiving the ball, was more surprised than anyone else.

"No way, Best, is that the kind of pass you could make?"

Lin Bei's lips curled into a smile: "Watch my performance in this match!"
