Chapter 9 The Coronation of the New King

A heart-wrenching scream rang out.

It wasn't Amin who sent it, but Philip.

Suddenly, Amin's left hand jerked, and a sharp spike shot out, piercing deeply into Philip's lower back!

It just so happens that the splinter that Philip had broken had landed right next to Amin's steel hook...

He knew this was his only chance of victory, so while provoking his opponent with words, he secretly used iron chains to bind the wooden splinter and stab him in the back.

With a single successful move, Amin turned the tide of the game.

He took the opportunity to break free from Philip's feet, retrieved the steel hooks, and attached them to his hands, forming a pair of "steel claws".

"Steel Claws" swung at Philip with both hands.

In a moment of desperation, Philip instinctively used his hands to block, and six claw marks pierced through his five thick fingers.

Amidst screams, each of his fingers broke into four or five pieces, falling from mid-air with a crackling sound.

Amin then struck again, piercing through Philip's massive abdomen from the side.

Blood splattered as Fili was cleanly disemboweled.

The greasy intestines, along with sticky, slippery fat, "plop" and fell down, spilling all over the ground!

Philip let out a wail and collapsed to the ground.

Amidst the cheers of Luke and the others and the deathly silence of the ogre, Armin crawled out of the "stomach pit," then kicked the torch in, setting Fili's corpse ablaze.

Amidst the crackling and popping sounds of burning, Amin rubbed his nose and muttered to himself:

"He...smells so good!"

The ogres of the Blood Palace were stunned. They never imagined that the ending would be like this—their "invincible" king had died at the hands of Amin.

Amin's cold gaze swept over every ogre present, and the ogres felt a surge of inexplicable fear, lowering their heads and daring not to meet his eyes.

"Listen up! Don't let my ugly appearance fool you, I have a very kind heart."

As long as we ogres unite, we can build the Blood Palace into a better, stronger, and greater place!

Our future will not be confined to Mount Ono. We will follow Lord Luke to conquer the world, to subjugate the wilderness, to conquer the empire, until the roar of our ogres echoes throughout the continent.

Trust me, there will be fresh meat, there will be food... everything will be there!

During his impassioned and rousing speech (a pie in the sky), the cannibals in the audience gradually became infected, turning from silence to excitement, and finally shouting his name excitedly.

"Long live the Blood Palace... Long live the new king!"

Ding!

[Mission Reward: Activate new unit type - Ogre Siege Warrior]

Hearing the system notification, Luke perked up and couldn't help but look at Armin with new respect: he hadn't expected that this seemingly simple-minded guy would actually have a knack for dealing with ogres.

Among humans, he was a veritable "tyrant"; but among the ogres, he became a rare "ruler"...

Five days later, in the presence of more than 600 cannibals, the Blood Palace crowned Amin.

At the foot of the high steps, Armin bowed his head; Luke stood at the top and personally placed the crown of thorns on his head, draped him in a scarlet cloak, and bestowed upon him the skull scepter.

Amidst the cheers of all the ogres, Armin officially became the new king of the Blood Palace.

Armin grinned at Luke: "How about it, Master? I told you we'd take over the Blood Palace without firing a shot... You didn't break your promise, did you?"

Luke helped Armin up and, when no one was looking, secretly punched him: "You little rascal, you got the benefit and you're still acting innocent! But you really deserve a lot of credit this time... Here, I'll give you a gift too."

Luke clapped his hands, and Rogue and the others carried in a cage covered with a red cloth: "Attila went through a lot of trouble to catch it near Obsidian Mountain... You'd better take good care of it."

Aming's curiosity was piqued, and he stepped forward and lifted the red cloth, his eyes immediately lighting up.

Inside was a baby unicorn... It was all white, and its little horn was incredibly cute.

"I know you're a Scottish savvy... no, I mean, you're quite knowledgeable about Scottish culture. The unicorn is the national animal of Scotland, it suits you perfectly."

"Thank you, master... With this, I feel like a true Scotsman! Hahaha!"

Amin gently stroked the unicorn's mane, laughing like a child weighing over 200 pounds.

After capturing the Blood Palace, tons of iron ore were loaded onto horse-drawn carts and slowly transported down the mountain to the River Bend.

The rich iron ore deposits on Mount Ono not only alleviated Luke's urgent need for weapons and equipment, but also, with the unlocking of the [Ogre Berserker], allowed for the production of more heavy armor for equipment.

With the addition of the Blood Palace Ogres, Luke now commands over eight hundred ogres. "Nine out of ten can be drawn," meaning he can mobilize at least four hundred strong male ogres for battle.

之后步步为营,按照1:2:5的比例进行训练和装备兵种——即50名【狂战士】、100名【重矛手】和250名【猎手】,这样既不用担心将来会被极高的维护费拖垮,也能够保证拥有不俗的战斗力。

Under the repeated hammering of the giant furnace and water-powered forging hammer, batches of heavy armor plates were freshly produced, quenched, and then riveted together to form heavy armor pieces, which were then put on the bodies of the strong ogres.

These cannibals were then sent to the training grounds and began extremely rigorous training and development...

As his troops grew stronger, King Amin was overjoyed, much to the envy of Attila next door.

Although he commanded two thousand centaurs, more than twice the size of Armin's force, they were all basic units like rangers. In terms of individual soldier quality, they were nowhere near the level of the ogres…

In order to complete the "Tyrant" mission as soon as possible, Attila transformed into a "war maniac" and asked Luke for battle every day.

However, Luke is not in a hurry to unify the centaurs of Hunhe River. Instead, he is focusing his energy on "how to expand the population under his rule".

As for the iron ore mined on Ono Peak, there is still more than enough to equip new troops and reserve for future use.

Luke then decided to follow in the footsteps of King Philip:

Most of the iron ore was forged into pig iron ingots and then sold at a high price to the centaur tribes of Hunhe; the remainder was transported by the centaur Bill to the border market for sale in exchange for more supplies…

White Hart Castle, Scarborough Market.

This is the largest trading post on the border of the Nord Province, and one of the eight markets specially approved by the Empire for "stabilizing the frontier".

High elves, dwarves, goblins... you can see all sorts of humanoid intelligent beings pushing all sorts of goods here to trade.

Messiah stood in front of a leather stall, his fingers gently stroking a tanned cowhide.

"Sir, think again, was there anything unusual on the day of the incident?"

Plantations and workshops across the land were looted, and High Elf citizens were murdered... This series of events finally drew the attention of Lord Na'vi.

He dispatched numerous patrols to investigate, but because Luke was ruthless and left no survivors, there was little progress.

As for the earliest "abandoned village" incident, he didn't pay much attention to it... Only Messiah "stubbornly" believed that these cases must have been committed by one person.

The stall owner was an old goblin with graying hair, his green face showing a helpless and tired expression.

"Miss, you've asked this eight hundred times... There really wasn't! After leaving the leather workshop that day, I heard the sound of horses' hooves in the distance... I thought it was a patrol team, so I didn't pay attention. It wasn't until the next day that I learned something had happened at the workshop."

Messiah's beautiful eyes flashed with light: "The sound of horses' hooves? How many horses are there, and which direction are they going?"

"Well... how could I tell? Anyway, there were quite a few, rumbling northwards, they must have entered the wilderness."

Messiah frowned, about to ask another question, when a rough shout came from behind him.

"Buy some of this high-quality iron ore!"
