Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?

Chapter 203 The Blue Flame Dragon Reappears

Hey, Kevin.

"Oh, it's Green. You're back pretty early."

After returning to school, Kevin went to the workshop as usual, letting Hermione and the others go back to their dorms first.

They bumped into Grindelwald on the way. The two chatted; their relationship wasn't exactly close, but at least they stopped using honorifics.

"No, I didn't go home for Christmas; I stayed at school the whole time."

"Is it too far to go back?"

"Yeah, more or less," Dole said with a shrug.

"Oh, I see... Well, I need to go back to my workspace. Would you like to have a cup of tea?"

Kevin looked at Dole and suddenly said that since he had nothing better to do, he might as well take this opportunity to learn more about Dole.

See if I can confront him and ask Dumbledore why he was included, so I can make my own plans.

"Of course, it's my pleasure." Dole smiled and didn't refuse, then continued chatting with Kevin.

"So you went straight to the workshop to prepare teaching materials for tomorrow's class as soon as you got back?"

"Yeah, I borrowed a room from the headmaster because I wanted to find a place to brew potions, but Professor Snape threw me into doing manual labor, which was even more tiring than being a student."

Kevin responded with a laugh.

The two chatted casually for the rest of the way.

"By the way, can you and Granger sense each other's thoughts now, through the bracelets you're wearing?"

At this moment, Dole suddenly asked about Kevin's bracelet.

"Huh? You even know that?"

"Because that's the magic of this bracelet," Dole said matter-of-factly.

"So you can now sense some of each other's thoughts, right?"

"...It is indeed possible, but it's not specific; you can only feel the emotions."

Kevin nodded and said slowly, "Dore seems to know this bracelet even better than Kevin, so there's nothing to hide."

"Is that so...then we can begin..."

Upon hearing Kevin's reply, Dole muttered to himself, but Kevin couldn't hear him because his voice was too soft.

"What did you say?"

"No, it's alright. You can keep wearing this bracelet. I think it will be very useful."

Listening to Dole's words, Kevin felt puzzled, as if there was something hidden in his words.

They soon arrived at the workshop together. It was Dole's first time there, and he looked around curiously.

Finally, his gaze fell on the photo frame on the corner cabinet.

That's a photo of Kevin and Hermione, both with happy smiles on their faces.

"I really envy your relationship with Granger."

"That's right, even if someone with a frigid personality came along, they'd still be envious."

Kevin replied smugly while making tea.

Dole smiled at Kevin's boastful words and said, "That's true."

Kevin walked over with the teacup in hand and placed it in front of Dole.

Then he raised his teacup and drank by himself, and neither of them spoke for a moment.

The only sounds in the workspace were the whistling wind outside the window and the two people sipping their tea.

A cold wind blew in from the window, chilling not only the tea but also the atmosphere between the two of them.

After a long while, Kevin put down his teacup.

"Green, you must not be an ordinary student. Did the principal arrange for you to come to the school for some special mission?"

Kevin looked at Dole and got straight to the point.

"What else did he tell you?"

Faced with Kevin's question, Dole did not refute it, but instead asked a question in return.

"He didn't tell me anything, so I wanted to talk to you."

"Then why can't I just be a regular transfer student? I'm curious, from the first time we met, when you heard I was a transfer student, you were wary of me. Why?"

Kevin actually got a question. Why? Should he say it's because I've seen the movie and know that there's no such thing as a transfer student?

If you haven't seen the movie, you'll probably only find it novel, but you won't pay much attention to it.

This is also what Dol couldn't understand. His shapeshifting was perfectly fine, so why did Kevin feel so wary of him the first time they met?

"intuition."

"..."

In the end, Kevin could only use his intuition as an excuse, which made Dole fall silent for a moment.

After all that, it turns out I didn't actually have any flaws; it was my so-called intuition that discovered it?

"Is my intuition telling me I'm the enemy? Or is it my intuition telling me I'm not an ordinary transfer student?"

"Yes, we have both," Kevin continued calmly.

Well, I must say, your intuition is very accurate.

Dole thought to himself, and when he looked up again, his eyes had changed.

The innocence unique to students is gone.

Instead, it became incredibly sharp and calm.

Do you believe in Dumbledore?

"certainly."

"If Dumbledore believes in me, can you also believe in me?"

"I'm trying to believe in you."

"It doesn't look like it."

Dole abandoned his proper and obedient demeanor and settled into a more comfortable position on the sofa.

Kevin, however, stared intently at him.

"Kevin, I actually have a contract that can only be fulfilled with your help."

"That's why I came to Hogwarts to find you."

"However, I promised Albus that I would not do anything reckless, so I was almost ready to give up on this contract."

"But recently, I've discovered that it's still somewhat possible."

At this point, Dole's gaze was fixed entirely on Kevin's bracelet.

"As long as you cooperate with my plan."

"I can help you find Voldemort's Horcruxes and destroy Voldemort."

Although Dole's words were strangely alluring, Kevin's eyes grew increasingly wary.

The reason is simple: Dort's appearance has changed.

To become his original form.

......

"Kevin really works hard; he has to start preparing lessons as soon as he gets back."

After putting down their luggage, Harry and his friends came to visit Hagrid's hut.

However, Kevin wasn't there, so Hagrid sighed.

Just a few years ago, he was just an ordinary kid like Harry and the others, but now he's a Potions teacher.

"It's not hard work. He seemed quite happy watching him torment those younger students."

Ron, standing to the side, recalled how he had sat in on Kevin's lectures before, and how he had been working on one test paper after another. He said with some embarrassment.

Upon hearing this, the group burst into laughter.

Just as the group was having a pleasant chat...

boom!!

Suddenly, a loud explosion shook the entire hut. The group stumbled and fell, and blue light appeared on the horizon outside the hut.

boom!!

Then came a second explosion, and Harry and his friends immediately realized something was wrong and hurriedly staggered out of Hagrid's hut.

As soon as they came out, they witnessed a scene they would never forget.

Above Hogwarts Castle, a massive fire dragon made of blue flames soared into the sky.

The overwhelming pressure was felt even by those few people far away in Hagrid's cabin.

At that moment, a figure burst out from the terrifying fire dragon's mouth, looking somewhat disheveled.

Although they were very far away and could only vaguely make out the outline of a person, Hermione's heart skipped a beat as she recognized the figure that had been propelled into the air by the flames.

"Kevin!!"
