Hogwarts: Who uses a crowbar in wizard duels?
Chapter 140 Successful Negotiations, Harry's Kidnapping
"Mr. Potter."
"Um?"
Harry was watching Kevin and Fudge confront each other, wondering what to say to persuade the stubborn Fudge, when he suddenly heard someone call his name in a low voice.
Looking back, he saw one of the two Aurors who had been standing outside the door earlier, the one Harry didn't recognize.
Strangely, his calls went unnoticed by anyone except Harry, including Shackleton who was also outside the door.
Perhaps because he was in the minister's office, Harry didn't notice anything amiss, so he went up to ask what was wrong.
"Mr. Potter, my name is John Dexter, it's a pleasure to meet you."
The burly man outside the door was surprisingly polite and greeted Harry.
Although Harry found it strange, he still politely replied, "Me too."
"In fact, I regret that our minister still refuses to believe in the resurrection of the mysterious man to this day."
Delilah looked at Fudge, who was still arguing with Kevin, with a hint of disappointment in his eyes, his tone full of frustration.
Harry raised an eyebrow, surprised that this person also believed in Voldemort's return, and his impression of him immediately improved.
"However, Mr. Potter, I actually know a strong piece of evidence that could prove the resurrection of the Mystic, but I have been unable to do so due to work and the lack of opportunity to meet you."
"And now is a great opportunity, and I hope I can bring you back with me."
Delix changed the subject, his face full of seriousness and hope.
"What evidence!?" Harry asked excitedly as soon as he heard there was evidence that Voldemort had really come back to life.
But a second later, she asked with some doubt, "Why do I have to go get it?"
Facing Harry's skeptical gaze, Dexterity remained expressionless and earnestly asked, "Do you know about a prophecy concerning you from over a decade ago?"
"It was Trelawney's prophecy that a child born at the end of July would be the key to defeating the mysterious man."
"And you, Harry Potter, are the child born at the end of July. You did indeed defeat the Wizarding World more than a decade ago and became its savior."
Dexter spoke slowly. Harry knew all of this, but it didn't seem to be the focus of his question, so he continued to listen to Dexter to see what he had to say.
"Prophecies that have been fulfilled or have been invalidated will no longer be illuminated or repeated by the prophecy sphere."
"And your prophecy is not over yet, because the mysterious man is not dead."
"The prophecy orb is currently inside the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic, and only the savior mentioned in the prophecy can pick it up."
"Once you pick up that prophecy orb, it will shine again, repeating the prophecy of years past. At that time, all rumors will be dispelled, and the news of the mysterious man's resurrection will be confirmed!"
As Harry listened, his eyes lit up. If that were true, they could use the prophecy orb to prove that Voldemort had been resurrected!
Harry immediately ran to Sirius's side and excitedly told him everything he had just learned.
Sirius Black immediately smiled and nodded, saying, "Then let's go quickly and bring the prophecy orb over."
Harry nodded, unaware that Sirius's smile seemed somewhat wooden at that moment.
They quickly followed Delilah out of the minister's office, and no one paid them any attention as they passed the Aurors and the Wizengamots.
Harry subconsciously sensed something amiss, but it was immediately overwhelmed by an inexplicable passion. He didn't even want to think about it; his mind was solely focused on getting the prophecy orb out, nothing else mattered.
......
"How about this, Your Excellency Minister, let's choose a compromise solution."
Kevin was still talking to Fudge at this point.
"The Death Eaters are our common enemy."
"Regardless of whether Voldemort has actually been resurrected or not, given the recent series of heinous incidents, the Ministry of Magic still needs to remind all wizards to be on high alert. That's one point."
"Secondly, this time the Dementors broke free of the Ministry of Magic's control and forcibly attacked the Hogwarts Express, nearly causing a major disaster. Do you think the students' parents will let this go unpunished?"
"Therefore, the Ministry of Magic needs to strengthen the protection of Hogwarts, as well as the protection of some key family members, yes, I'm talking about the families of people like us."
"Correspondingly, we members of the Order of the Phoenix will also respond to the Ministry of Magic's call at any time to work together to resolve those malicious incidents that disrupt the peace of the wizarding world."
"These things are also beneficial to you, Minister."
"Even if Voldemort doesn't resurrect, Minister, you can put aside past grievances and cooperate with us to maintain the stability of the wizarding world, and you will gain a good reputation."
Kevin's words silenced Fudge, as if he were considering the possibility Kevin had mentioned.
Fudge is indeed a politician who only knows how to curry favor with the powerful and consolidate his position.
But he's not stupid either.
Bella's memory is clear evidence.
With the rumors of Voldemort's resurrection growing stronger and these recent tragic incidents occurring, some have even begun to criticize the Ministry of Magic for its inaction.
As for the cooperation Kevin mentioned, if the Ministry of Magic maintains a dominant position, perhaps he can use it to gain more support...
"I have one condition."
After a moment of thought, Fudge looked at Kevin and spoke slowly.
"We need to declare to the outside world that the Order of the Phoenix, and all actions against the Death Eaters, are at my behest."
"All the previous targeting was just an act for the Death Eaters."
"The Ministry of Magic was actually secretly helping the Order of the Phoenix gather intelligence, making a huge contribution to the fight against the Death Eaters."
After hearing Fudge's words, Kevin couldn't help but think of an emoji: "Wow, that's professionalism."
Fudge had already come to believe Voldemort's resurrection. This negotiation was actually just Fudge trying to save face and, incidentally, seek personal gain.
"Alright, I agree on behalf of Headmaster Dumbledore, and I believe he will agree as well."
The members of the Order of the Phoenix don't really care about these things; their greatest wish is to eliminate Voldemort and restore peace to the wizarding world.
Of course, this excludes the vain little wizard. If Harry were there, he would probably grumble a bit in dissatisfaction.
Unfortunately, this fool has now been kidnapped.
"Alright, Your Excellency Minister, I have to go and bring Harry back. Please excuse me for a moment. You can discuss the rest of the matters with the two gentlemen."
Kevin patted his leg and slowly stood up, saying.
Everyone was stunned when they heard Kevin's words. What? Bring Harry back? Harry is right here... Wait, where is Harry?!
He disappeared in broad daylight in the Minister of Magic's office?
Everyone's expression changed, and just as they were about to ask Kevin a question, Kevin's figure had already disappeared.
