Hogwarts: A little lion in the skin of the Eagle School
Chapter 246 A Real Nightmare
After settling Gropp in, the matter was temporarily put to rest.
Hagrid would take care of him afterwards, and John would visit him occasionally when he had time.
With Hagrid, his loving brother, around, Gropp's life will surely get better.
Time flew by, and the semester was drawing to a close.
The final exams are over, and with only a few days of holiday left until the results come out, they can go home for Christmas.
There were no classes, activities, or competitions during this period; I was free to do whatever I wanted every day.
So Harry organized another spell training session.
Including the cursed gathering a while ago.
Harry mainly teaches everyone three spells.
Disarming spell, obstacle spell, coma spell.
Even if everyone has mastered it to a similar degree, they still have to practice it again and again.
After all, there's a skill level required to use a wand.
With someone teaching and demonstrating, proficiency will naturally improve faster.
John, of course, has sufficient skill.
So he was also helping Harry, guiding those who weren't yet very skilled.
However, his method of instruction was very abstract.
"First do it like this, then like this, then like this again, and then you can achieve this."
John demonstrated the casting of the spell to a badger cub.
Hermione, standing to the side, looked on helplessly and rubbed her forehead.
You've always been like this, but what exactly is it?
She was about to correct John's ambiguous words.
The little badger, however, seemed to have been enlightened.
"I see! First like this! Then like this! And like this again! And then it'll work! Wow, it works!"
The little badger waved his wand, and a terrifying red light exploded, blasting the dummy away.
John nodded with satisfaction and gave him a thumbs up.
Hermione opened her mouth upon seeing this, but ultimately swallowed back the words she was about to say.
Her little brain probably couldn't understand why that little badger could comprehend John's semantically ambiguous teachings.
Don't ask, the answer is that we're telepathically connected.
......
After the training camp ended, everyone went their separate ways.
Harry suddenly came to John's side and started chatting with him.
"I heard from Hermione that you're going back together for the holidays, is that right?" Harry simply asked.
Then John started with an extremely long sentence.
"Yeah, you don't want to come along, do you? I'm sorry, Harry, although I'd love to spend Christmas with you, I'd prefer to have some alone time with Hermione. So, I'm very sorry, could you please not join us?"
Harry: "..."
He looked at John speechlessly, but finally spoke again.
"You're overthinking it. I'm going to spend Christmas with Sirius Black, and he asked if I wanted you guys to come along, so I came to ask you."
"I see. Then tell Sirius that we need to make an appointment in advance next time."
John chuckled when he heard this.
Harry shook his head helplessly. Ever since he got to know John, the guy had become completely unserious.
He quite missed the John of the past, who was always serious, measured, and distant.
Of course, things are fine as they are now.
"You guys should have come back before school started, right? How about we go to the Order of the Phoenix together then?"
"Then we'll go back to school together when school starts," Harry continued.
"We'll see. I don't know the specific arrangements either; it's all up to Hermione," John said with a shrug.
Harry: I didn't need to ask you!
"By the way, senior, how's your Occlumency training with Professor Snape going?"
At this point, John asked a question in return.
He hasn't encountered Harry recently while studying Felix Felicis with Snape.
He initially thought Harry had learned it.
But when he casually asked Professor Snape about it later, Professor Snape said that the man was just like his father, an arrogant fool.
Then there is no more.
Harry was taken aback by John's question.
"Uh... well... that... more or less..." Harry stammered, trying to change the subject.
Looks like I haven't learned it yet.
"Oh, I've been practicing hard too, don't worry."
In the end, Harry waved his hand, indicating he didn't want to talk about the topic anymore, and then turned and ran away.
John watched Harry leave, and a sense of unease crept in.
His behavior resembles a classic scene from a movie or TV series, where a tragedy occurs because he didn't heed the warnings, a story of forced growth.
Especially since it got stuck at the point where Voldemort resurrected...
I have a bad feeling.
......
Late at night, Harry drifted off to sleep in his dormitory bed.
In his dream, he dreamed of...
A dark obsidian corridor.
On the obsidian wall, I saw my reflection as a giant python.
A mysterious black gate.
A dark room filled with countless prophecy orbs.
And in the room, Mr. Weasley's back view.
next moment!
He lunged at Mr. Weasley and bit him hard on the shoulder, arm, chest, and thigh with his gaping maw.
Mr. Weasley lay on the ground, utterly helpless!
"Holy crap!!"
Harry was jolted awake and scrambled to his feet, gasping for breath like a drowning fish.
"Harry, what's wrong?"
Ron, who was standing beside him with a worried look on his face, had obviously just woken him up.
"You had another nightmare?" Ron asked, looking at him with concern.
Harry had no idea what had just happened; the dream felt so real.
The texture was sticky, warm, and had a disgusting, bloody smell.
"I...I...I bit Mr. Weasley...?"
Harry muttered to himself, trembling, then looked at Ron in horror.
"Ron, I... I dreamt that Mr. Weasley was attacked! By a snake, a... I..."
Harry spoke incoherently and in a panic.
Ron frowned as he heard this jumbled conversation. Harry dreamt that his father was attacked by a snake?
The commotion woke up Neville, who had just heard Harry's words and spoke up with some concern.
"Ron, how about we take Harry to see Professor McGonagall..."
Ron nodded after hearing this. Harry's behavior was very strange, and his words also made him feel uneasy.
Harry was completely dazed; his lips were trembling, and he felt like gagging.
The sensations he experienced in his dream made his stomach churn violently.
Fortunately, Ron and Neville caught his swaying arm in time and ran with him to find Professor McGonagall.
After being woken up by their noise, Professor McGonagall heard what had happened and, without hesitation, took Harry straight to the headmaster's office.
