Old rules may hinder the opening of a new chapter, but with a calm mind, what harm is there in speaking a thousand words?

Just then, the bamboo door opened again, and Xiao Lingyue walked in.

She wore a moon-white monk's robe, with a light gray kasaya over it.

Holding a string of Buddhist prayer beads, she walked lightly and breathed peacefully.

Seeing Su Qingxuan looking at her, she clasped her hands together, smiled slightly, and said:

"It was Daoist Xuanqing and Master Liaochen."

They ascended to heaven half a day ago to inquire about the young master's whereabouts in the Heaven of Reception.
