Peninsula: My mentor Kim Tae-yeon

Chapter 9 The Three Gossip-Eating Group

Between seven and eight in the morning, I get up, wash up, run, exercise, practice my voice and dance.

From 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, my commute to work, work, slacking off to study Korean, lunch break, work, slacking off to study Korean, and commute home.

From around 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, I practiced singing and dancing.

The event ends at 8:30 PM, after which you will have free time.

The above is the artist development plan that Kim Tae-yeon devised for Su Xia.

To Kim Tae-yeon's surprise, although Su Xia complained every day, she didn't slack off at all, and her eyes were full of desire for money.

That's... wonderful.

Kim Tae-yeon wasn't afraid of Su Xia's complaints, but she was afraid that he would just talk the talk but not walk the walk, and just lie around doing nothing.

You can't be lazy when practicing singing and dancing. If you're lazy, you won't learn. Even if you're talented, without systematic learning, you'll still find it hard to achieve anything.

Fortunately, Su Xia worked hard enough, and his talent and learning ability were also fast enough.

Especially in vocal performance, in just a few days, her progress has almost caught up with the level she was at when she first debuted.

That's practically cheating!

March 15th, Friday.

I worked overtime last Saturday, but this week I have a normal two-day weekend.

After getting off work, Su Xia happily changed her clothes and began her practice plan for the day.

He has installed the soundproofing cotton he bought in the past few days, as well as a cushioning pad to be placed on the floor, in order to reduce the vibrations caused downstairs as much as possible when he practices dancing.

When practicing singing or dancing at home, it's still important to take precautions to avoid disturbing others.

"Okay, let's begin." Kim Tae-yeon clapped her hands, sat on the sofa, and looked at Su Xia.

Su Xia nodded and began today's basic dance practice.

Every day, the dance practice routine starts with going through the basic dance moves once, followed by breaking down and practicing the dance moves for the songs.

These past few days, Su Xia has been practicing Kim Tae-yeon's "Why" so much that she's become so familiar with it that she feels like throwing up whenever she hears it.

He can now replicate the dance moves from "Why" even with his eyes closed.

"Pay attention to your facial expressions, don't look tense."

"Typhoon, watch out for the typhoon! Don't stay frozen like that."

"Stretch your body a little more, don't hold back, there's no one else here but me."

As Su Xia danced, Kim Tae-yeon pointed out his problems.

Gradually, even Kim Tae-yeon herself didn't realize that she had started teaching Su-ha using the standards of a second-generation celebrity.

After the ninth time.

"Alright, let's take a break." Kim Tae-yeon clapped her hands with a smile, stopping Su Xia.

"Phew!" Su Xia let out a deep breath and sat down on the mat, panting heavily.

"When can I record a video?"

"Practice for a while longer. Your dance skills are still a bit lacking. You need to at least reach the level I was at when I debuted."

Kim Tae-yeon thought to herself that it's already 2024, more than ten years since her debut, and the public's expectations for newcomers must have become much higher.

Although Su Xia is only aiming to become an internet celebrity, her requirements are not too high, but even if they are low, they cannot be lower than the level she was at when she debuted, right?

Su Xia nodded. He didn't understand anyway, so he would just do whatever Kim Tae-yeon said.

Su Xia retrieved the phone.

Seeing this, Kim Tae-yeon also came over.

When Su Xia picks up the electronic device, a picture of a Thai sheep automatically appears behind her.

Upon opening the music app, the video that immediately caught their eyes stunned them both.

The details of Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron's relationship have been revealed!

"Another one dating?" Su Xia asked疑惑地, "Has K-pop stirred up a dating frenzy?"

"These two are actors, but..." Kim Tae-yeon frowned, "They are so far apart in age. If it's a long-term relationship, Kim Soo-hyun will be involved in the issue of dating a minor."

This reminded her of a colleague who had passed away long ago.

"Pejorative?" Su Xia raised an eyebrow. "This guy has thick eyebrows and big eyes, and he's actually a lolicon?"

"This kind of situation is not uncommon in the industry," Kim Tae-yeon said calmly. "The filth of this circle, built on fame and fortune, is beyond your imagination."

"She's an old lady after all; she's seen more monsters than I've seen people," Su Xia said with a smile.

Kim Tae-yeon couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"Once you embark on this path, you will encounter all sorts of... um... monsters."

"Then I'm going to report them," Su Xia said with a snort.

Kim Tae-yeon didn't respond. Su Xia would find out and report her? When everyone does that, even keeping oneself pure becomes a luxury.

I watched several videos in a row, and they were all related to Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Sae-ron.

"Huh, this guy was drunk driving too." As Su Xia scrolled through the page, she came across Kim Sae-ron's past drunk driving incidents.

"So she was practically blacklisted," Kim Tae-yeon stated, indicating the outcome.

"I see." Su Xia nodded. "Can you drive?"

"Of course." Kim Tae-yeon raised an eyebrow. "I'm an old hand at this."

"Really?" Su Xia looked at Kim Tae-yeon suspiciously. "Judging from the male-to-female ratio of experienced drivers, female experienced drivers are quite rare."

Kim Tae-yeon smiled calmly.

"At least, my driving skills are better than a man like you who doesn't even own a car."

puff!

Heartbroken!

After Su Xia got her driver's license, she went home for vacation and would drive her dad's car at home, since she didn't actually own a car herself.

"Damn it! I must become rich!" Su Xia said angrily.

"Stay strong!" Kim Tae-yeon made a cheering gesture.

"Hey, have you ever been in a car accident?"

"Yes, I've been rear-ended, been rear-ended, and had minor collisions," Kim Tae-yeon said.

"You've also rear-ended others?"

"I was listening to music and got distracted, and I bumped into a taxi." Kim Tae-yeon shrugged. "I was terrified at the time, but thankfully the aftermath was handled very well, and it didn't cause too much of a public relations crisis."

"Let me see." Su Xia searched and found the news, but her attention was drawn to another line of text.

"A Mercedes S550, a coupe at that! Those rich people are so evil!" Su Xia said angrily.

"It's alright, this car cost a little over two million RMB when I bought it." Kim Tae-yeon said casually, but the boast in her tone and the smile in her eyes proved to Su Xia that she was indeed anxious for her.

"I hereby declare that you owe me a 550!"

"I'll give you an S680 if you can drive me back."

That is, you can still see me after I go back.

Kim Tae-yeon thought to herself slyly.

"You said it yourself!" Su Xia's eyes lit up, and she stood up abruptly, running to the writing desk and taking out a small notebook.

The notebook that Kim Tae-yeon recognized was the "accounting book" that Su Xia used to record the money she gave to relatives, friends, and classmates for weddings and other social events.

Below a classmate's wedding gift money, Su Xia wrote a sentence

"Kim Tae-yeon owes me a fully equipped Maybach S680 on March 9, 2024."

Kim Tae-yeon watched this scene with amusement, and for some reason, she was looking forward to him coming to collect the debt from her.
