Erii: A Journey Through the Heavens Begins with Frilian
Chapter 28 Special Weapon Enhancement
Only today did Philon witness firsthand and directly experience Erii's formidable fighting prowess. The stark contrast between her innocent and adorable appearance and her wild violence only made Erii more captivating.
Moreover, her incomprehensible speed, physical ability, strength, and reaction were beyond her comprehension.
Because the warriors of this world cannot use magic, but as they train diligently day and night, the magic power they already possess will constantly temper their muscles and bones, and the enhancement of their physical body by magic power is obvious.
In short, unlike the path of cultivation for mages, warriors, assassins, and other professions follow the path of physical refinement.
But no matter what, magic is an indispensable part.
Erii is an exception.
Without magic power, they can use incantations comparable to magic.
Without magic, he can unleash combat power comparable to a warrior.
"Ms. Frilian, I think I understand." Philon looked at Erii with a dreamy gaze.
"What?" Frillie asked.
"You said Erii is more tempting than the grimoire," Philon replied.
"Right, it's much harder to study her thoroughly than to read a magic book," Frilian said.
Half a minute later, Frilian said calmly, "It's over. Erii has been using it as a sparring partner to practice Professor Aize's combat techniques."
As she said, accompanied by a sword clatter that overwhelmed the dragon's roar, Erii used a swift movement technique to suddenly turn and cut off a dragon's head with its eyes wide open in anger. The dragon's corpse vanished without a trace before it even hit the ground.
Erii landed smoothly, her mind still carefully replaying all the details.
The ghouls she encountered before would die instantly upon contact, providing her with nothing more than a satisfying hack-and-slash game experience, but offering no improvement to her combat skills whatsoever.
[Slayed your first dragon! The host is quite adept at finding enjoyment on long journeys!]
[To encourage the host to continue their courageous adventures and enrich their life experiences, a surprise reward is given: Weapon Enhancement]
Using the scales, horns, teeth, and the hardest spine bone of the Crimson Mirror Dragon, the alchemical weapon "Tsukuyomi" is tempered and strengthened, increasing the blade's sharpness, hardness, and toughness, and granting it a certain amount of magic resistance, capable of mitigating some magic damage.
[Refining and strengthening in progress]

Erii felt the weight of the object in her hand suddenly increase, and she drew her sword to examine it closely.
The overall design remains unchanged, with the style still simple and unpretentious, except for some dark red lines resembling blood streaks on the blade.
"Eri, you're injured. Let me bandage you..."
Philen's voice stopped abruptly. She rubbed her eyes and stared in astonishment at Erii's left hand.
The cuts on her fair palm, inflicted by the dragon scales, were healing at a visible speed, and she was completely restored in no time.
"Huh?" Frillie exclaimed in surprise, crouching down to examine the area more closely.
"Ms. Erii, are you really human?" Philon asked, posing a soul-searching question.
Erii, a chick pecking at rice.
"Fine, since you're already so mysterious, it doesn't matter if you go any further." Philon was forced to accept.
While the two were chatting, Frilian had already spread her arms wide and happily ran towards the dragon's nest, her face beaming with an uncontrollable silly grin. Her desire for magic books and treasure chests was comparable to that of a dragon.
"La la la~ Hehehehe~"
As it climbed up using both hands and feet, it hummed happily.
"Ms. Frillie, we can't take that many with us!" Philon shouted.
Two minutes later.
"Philan, save me! Erii, save me!"
"It's so dark~ I'm so scared~ It's so dark~ I'm so scared~"
"This mimic has bad breath, ugh~ Quick, push my butt~"
"Ugh~ Phyllenh smells so bad~ Ugh~"
Erii couldn't help but exchange a chuckle with Philon, and under Philon's amused gaze, she took out her camera and snapped a picture of Frilian's embarrassing moment.
Then, Erii used both hands to pry open the mimic's jaws with her bare hands.
With her hair still wet, Frillie walked shakily to the edge, bent down, and opened her mouth, revealing a rainbow.
"I'm never gambling again." She looked dejected, like a broken teddy bear.
……
After cleaning up a stream, the three of them walked deeper into the canyon and found the village that Aize had mentioned on a flat mountainside.
"Shutalk, Aize's apprentice whom he taught without reservation, Aize asked us to take him with us on our journey north," Frilian explained the purpose of their visit.
They crossed the city walls and cliffs, stepping into the bustling streets.
Children chased each other and played happily, while shops and stalls lined both sides of the street, and people shopped or strolled around with smiles on their faces, creating a scene of happiness and peace.
They found an open-air cafe and the three of them sat down to rest.
"It's so peaceful. It's hard to imagine that the Red Mirror Dragon is in the valley not far away," Philon said in surprise.
"Yes," Frilian said, guessing.
"By the way, what kind of magic was recorded in that magic book?" Philon asked warily, fearing it might be some strange thing like "**Giant Magic Book".
"A magic that allows me to see through clothes," Frillian frankly told me.
Philen fell silent.
Shouldn't an ancient and powerful magician possess all sorts of dangerous, world-destroying spells? Why is my teacher doing the opposite?
"You really love collecting weird and wonderful magic," Erii retorted on her behalf.
"Just a hobby," Frillian said. "If used properly, it can be useful; it can detect weapons hidden on a person."
As they were talking, an elderly woman approached and asked kindly, "Gentlemen, could you spare a moment? Mr. Shutark said he would like to see you."
"Perfect timing, we're looking for him too." Frillie stood up and gestured for the two to follow.
The village has only one bustling main street. Following a small alley into the woods and continuing upwards, a red-haired boy sits on a rock at the foot of a cliff.
According to the woman, three years ago, when the village was being ravaged by the Red Mirror Dragon and was on the verge of extinction, it was Xiutark who stepped forward to confront it. He simply stood there without making a move, but his sheer presence forced the dragon to retreat.
From then on, the revered Shutark settled in the village, and the Red Mirror Dragon never caused trouble again.
"It's him, isn't he? He looks pretty good," Phil muttered.
As they drew closer, the calm and easygoing, handsome man, Shutark, also looked up and met their gaze.
Underneath the red jacket was a black training uniform, and beneath the black trousers were a pair of tall leather boots. Beside him lay a double-edged axe as tall as a person.
"I won't disturb you any longer, you two chat." The woman tactfully left.
Shutark calmly swept his gaze across Erii and the other two's faces, his voice tinged with sternness, "You're the ones who attacked the dragon, aren't you? Don't provoke it, or I'll be in trouble, and the village will be in danger."
The three remained silent, watching him quietly.
"Dragons are more terrifying than you can imagine," said Shutalk, brushing aside his long hair to reveal a scar on his left forehead. "This is what I got when I fought the Dark Dragon."
"This scar isn't a big deal, is it?" Frilian asked casually.
Shutark paused, then asked, "You were sent by Master, weren't you? Who are you?"
"Frilian," Frilian said, uttering her own name.
Shutark's pupils contracted, then he smiled knowingly: "I see. Master must be very angry that I snuck out."
Frillie didn't answer, but asked, "Why didn't you kill the Red Mirror Dragon in the past three years?"
"That's a dragon, not an ant you can crush with a snap of your teeth," Hughtark frowned sternly. "You've angered it. You'd better deal with this trouble yourself. With your strength, Frilian, you should be able to do it, right?"
"It's dead," Philon said abruptly.
All the prepared explanations suddenly caught in his throat. "Huh? What did you say?"
"She killed her." Philon pointed at Erii.
"Eh? Eh!" Hugh Tarek's expression suddenly changed, and a surge of joy burst forth, instantly shattering his forced composure and aloofness.
"Great! I'm finally free! You're my savior!"
Tears welled up unexpectedly, and he knelt down smoothly at Erii's feet, wanting to hug her legs and cry his heart out.
Erii was so startled by this shocking change of expression that she shrank back, dodging Shutark and hiding behind Philen, peeking half her head out from her shoulder and staring in confusion at this crybaby who had completely changed.
