The rudimentary level means that one can successfully cast spells, but has not yet mastered the incantation technique, requires several seconds of casting time, and lacks knowledge about spell channeling, so it can only hit enemies with slower movement speeds.

Meiluo herself has mastered the level zero sorcery [Slow] and [Lesser Shadow Bolt]. She has reached the proficient level with Slow and the rudimentary level with Lesser Shadow Bolt.

Karina, a silver-haired girl, possesses a faint elven bloodline. She is skilled with a longbow and has mastered the spells [Slow] and [Fear], both at a proficient level.

Upon hearing this, Richard understood why Hans and Nickloh had objections to his treatment.

Judging from Hans's strength, at only 16 years old, he is already stronger than Richard's 17-year-old brother. It is conceivable that before coming to the Ignis School, he must have been one of the local geniuses.

It's perfectly normal for a gifted young man to be a bit arrogant and not to acknowledge his own abilities as a newcomer.

The shadowy figure froze instantly. Hans looked closely and saw that a five-meter-long, sharp-toothed crocodile had been hit by two arrows almost simultaneously!

One white arrow pierced the forehead, while a black arrow struck the neck, instantly killing this top-tier swamp predator.

Although the fanged crocodile is merely a wild beast, it is among the best of the best. Even a typical first-level wizard apprentice would have a hard time dealing with it!

Hans immediately gave a thumbs-up to Karina and Richard at the back of the group.
