Su Chen's biological clock is more accurate than an alarm clock.

At six o'clock in the morning, he was already standing in front of the barn for the fine-bred calves.

The phased training program was implemented on its third day.

Without fail, the first thing he does every morning is to check on these precious little ones.

Juan and Luis were busy mixing the ingredients.

According to the rules set by Su Chen, the calves in the two stages were fed separately with completely different formulas.

"Is the material for the first phase ready?" Su Chen asked.

Juanchong raised his chin at the row of feeding troughs on the left.

"All done."

"Protein 18%, fat 6%, fiber 15%, calcium powder and phosphate powder are mixed in the correct proportions."

"Each head is fed three times a day, two kilograms per meal."

"What about the second phase?"

Louis took over the conversation.

"16% protein, 8% fat, 12% fiber, with added probiotics and trace elements."

"The number of times and the amount are the same."

Su Chen nodded and squatted down to examine the first-stage calf closest to him.

N-03, which is the heaviest end.

The Beast King's affinity ability was activated instantly, and the calf's physical condition unfolded in his mind like a 3D model.

Bone development is normal, and calcium and phosphorus absorption rates are good.

Muscles grow quickly, and daily weight gain meets the target.

My digestive system is functioning well; I haven't had any food stagnation or diarrhea.

The hair's shine is just a little lacking.

Su Chen stood up and gave instructions to Hu An.

"N-03's fur is in poor condition. Starting tomorrow, I will add biotin to its feed separately, 5 grams per day."

"OK."

Su Chen touched each of the eighteen calves one by one, imprinting the condition of each one into his mind.

Back at the main house, he entered the data into the growth record and compared it with yesterday's.

Emma brought in breakfast and, seeing how serious he was, couldn't help but say something.

"Aren't you tired of keeping an eye on things like this every day?"

Su Chen didn't even look up.

"We can't let our eyes off it."

"These three months are the critical period for phased cultivation, and we cannot be careless."

"How's the data?"

"good."

"The calves in the first phase gained an average of 1.2 pounds per day, which is 0.1 pounds higher than expected."

"In the second phase, the average daily weight gain was 0.9 pounds, and the breed purity test result was 76%, which is 4% higher than three days ago."

Emma leaned over to look at the data.

"At this rate, won't it reach 85% in ten days?"

"almost."

After finishing his breakfast, Su Chen opened the system panel.

The phased development plan is being implemented smoothly, but there is still room for improvement.

He went to the system store and found what he wanted.

[Breed Purification Card: Increases breed purity of cattle by 20%, applicable to the breeding stage of improved calves. Each card is worth 3000 points, limited to one purchase per person.]

3000 points, not cheap.

But Su Chen has enough points now.

I was rewarded with 8000 points for completing the task of expanding the elite cattle herd last time.

Adding what was left before, the total points are 12,000.

Bought it.

[Breeding purification card used; target: a herd of 18 high-quality calves]

[Variety purity increased by 20% (in progress, expected to be completed in 5 days)]

[Tip: During the variety purification process, it is recommended to use a phased breeding program to maximize the results.]

Su Chen closed the system panel, feeling quite pleased.

Once the purification card takes full effect, the breed purity of this batch of calves will reach over 85%.

That would put you right on the threshold of the highest level.

At nine o'clock in the morning, breeding expert Robert sent a video call.

"Mr. Su, how is the phased training program being implemented?"

Su Chen sent over the growth data.

"It's been three days, and the results are good."

"In the first stage, the daily weight gain was 1.2 pounds, and in the second stage, the purity of the breed increased by 4%."

Robert looked at the data and his eyes lit up.

"This data is even better than expected."

"However, I would like to remind you to pay attention to the calves' activity level during the phased rearing period."

"Don't just focus on feeding them; if they become overweight, it will affect breed optimization."

"How do you control it?" Su Chen asked.

"One or two hours of guided activities each day is enough, such as taking a walk or jogging, but nothing too strenuous."

"With sufficient activity, muscles develop evenly, and fat deposition is more reasonable."

Su Chen took notes.

"Anything else?"

"Vitamin D will be increased by another 20%."

"Calves' bones grow quickly, and they rely on vitamin D to absorb calcium and phosphorus."

"In addition, I recommend conducting a body condition assessment weekly and adjusting the feed formulation based on the results."

"Physical condition score?" Su Chen asked, puzzled.

"Yes, 1 to 9 points, 3 to 4 points is the ideal state."

"Being too thin indicates insufficient nutrition, while being too fat indicates insufficient physical activity or a problem with the formula."

"I'll send you a scoring standard; just follow it."

After hanging up the phone, Su Chen immediately made the arrangements.

At 10 a.m., Juan and Luis drove the first batch of calves to the activity area to let them walk and jog.

The calves frolicked on the grassland, chasing each other and having a great time.

At 2 p.m., it was the turn of the second phase of calves.

Su Chen stood at the edge of the activity area, watching as he activated Beast King Affinity to sense the condition of each calf.

The amount of activity was indeed sufficient; the muscles were stretched during exercise, blood circulation accelerated, and nutrient absorption efficiency improved.

But there was one calf, N-12, who was listless and reluctant to run when it came to activity.

Su Chen walked over and squatted down, placing his hand on the calf's back to assess its physical condition.

The digestive system is a bit slow; the feed from last night may not have been fully digested yet.

"Louis, did you feed N-12 too much for breakfast today?"

Louis ran over to check the records.

"No, it's two kilograms as per the standard feeding regimen."

"What about last night's dinner?"

"It's also two kilograms."

Su Chen thought for a moment.

"Reduce its lunch intake today, feed it 1.5 kilograms, and add more probiotics to help with digestion."

"it is good."

At 3 p.m., the veterinarian arrived at the ranch as scheduled for his regular check-up.

Su Chen drove the eighteen calves to the medical examination area.

He checked each person one by one, listening to their heartbeat, taking their temperature, examining their mouth and eyes, and feeling their bones and muscles.

After working for more than an hour, the results are in.

This report was handed to Su Chen.

"Completely healthy, no problems."

"However, I have a suggestion: these calves should be given a booster vaccine."

"Booster vaccine?"

"Yes, calves need to receive a booster vaccine after they are a month old to improve their immunity and prevent problems during the critical breeding period."

"I brought the vaccine with me, and I can get it today."

Su Chen nodded.

"Then let's fight."

Ben and the workers vaccinated each of the eighteen calves.

Each one was recorded, noting the vaccination time and vaccine batch.

After the vaccination was completed, he gave instructions.

"Please observe carefully over the next two days, and call me immediately if you experience any adverse reactions."

"OK."

Su Chen closely monitored the calves' reactions through the Beast King's affinity.

Half an hour after vaccination, two calves were a little listless, but they quickly recovered.

In the evening, Su Chen checked on the calf's condition again.

The eighteen calves were in good spirits, ate normally, and showed no adverse reactions.

They ran around happily in the activity area, their fur gleaming in the setting sun.

He opened the system panel.

[Progress in the breeding of high-quality calves]

[Variety purity: 82% (Purification process in progress, expected to reach 88% in 3 days)]

[Growth rate: 40% faster than ordinary calves]

[Health Status: Excellent]

[Note: The phased development plan is being implemented well; it is recommended to continue.]

Su Chen glanced at the data for the second-stage calves again.

The breed purity of the eight second-stage calves has reached 86%, exceeding the expected target.

Muscle growth is progressing at an ideal rate, fat deposition is beginning to appear, and the initial form of marble patterns can already be vaguely seen.

He closed the system panel and sent a message to Robert.

"The breeding is progressing smoothly, and the breed purity of the second-stage calves has reached 86%."

Robert replied instantly.

"This figure has surpassed most of the Angus cattle I have bred."

"Mr. Su, what's so special about your ranch?"

Su Chen smiled but did not reply.

What makes it special?

System buffs, spiritual spring irrigation, top-grade fodder, beast king affinity...

Who would believe these words?

He walked out of the main house and stood on the porch, looking at the cowshed in the distance.

The setting sun bathed the entire grassland in golden light.

The cattle grazed peacefully on the hillside.

Black Fang led his pack of wolves on patrol along the fence.

Lingfeng hovered high in the sky.

Everything is proceeding according to plan.
