Chapter 27 A Surprise Delivered to Your Door

Chapter 27 A Surprise Delivered to Your Door

Ivan Vanko stared coldly at Stark Tower before him, his heart filled with rage. He had been preparing for this moment for a long time, and today was the day for his revenge.

He stroked the advanced equipment he was wearing, the culmination of his years of hard work and desire for revenge, each piece tailor-made for Tony Stark.

His father suffered persecution at the hands of Howard Stark, but since Howard Stark is dead, his son Tony Stark has to bear the consequences.

Ivan Vanko had planned to come back for revenge a little later, as he wasn't fully prepared. He intended to seek revenge on Tony Stark when he was more ready.

However, while sorting through his father's belongings, he discovered a strange book called "The Revelation of Gorgias".

The book's predictions of many recent events have come true, which has amazed Ivan Vanko.

However, Ivan Vanko was not happy when he saw the prediction that Tony Stark might die from palladium poisoning.

Just when you're about to master your divine skills and are preparing to seek revenge on your enemies, you tell me that your enemies are about to die?

How can this be!

Ivan Vanko therefore rushed to Manhattan in order to find Tony before he succumbed to the poison and kill him.

Tony Stark can only die at his hands, not from poisoning!

Although his suit wasn't fully tested, it was good enough, at least better than Tony Stark's suit!

Tony had been in Stark Tower for several days now, not because he actually believed the magic conch shell's nonsense.

It was because he was trying one last time to see if he could resolve his palladium poisoning problem.

"Try again."

Tony muttered to himself as his fingers flew across the keyboard, the screen flashing with complex data and models.

Time was extremely precious to him; every attempt could be his last glimmer of hope for life.

Tony was completely absorbed in the data and models on the screen, trying to find a breakthrough in solving the palladium poisoning problem, but after countless calculations and attempts, he had to admit that this attempt had failed again.

The results displayed on the screen still brought no glimmer of hope, but rather seemed to pronounce his fate.

Tony sighed, slowly stood up from the chair, his eyes revealing undisguised exhaustion and disappointment.

He looked up at the bustling Manhattan night view outside the window, his heart filled with mixed emotions. He knew that time was ticking away, and he seemed to be getting further and further away from finding the antidote.

He left the laboratory, went up to the top floor, and looked at his Iron Man suit.

Tony gently stroked the outer shell of the suit, feeling its cold yet solid power, as if having a silent conversation with it.

Such days may not last much longer.

Just then, an accident occurred. A sudden tremor shattered the silence, and Tony involuntarily lost his balance.

He instinctively reached out to steady himself, but accidentally pressed the launch button on the palm of his suit.

A dazzling light instantly emerged from the palm lightning and shot forward.

Just then, a figure descended from the sky, and Ivan Vanke made a dazzling appearance.

"Tony Stark, prepare to die! Today I will pay for your life!"

Just as Ivan Vanko's hateful shouts had not completely faded, Tony's unintentional palm strike, like a precise death sentence, hit Ivan Vanko squarely as he was about to charge forward.

Despite its meticulous design, perhaps due to insufficient testing, the impact of the palm grenade instantly penetrated the protective layer of the suit, directly impacting its internal structure and triggering a chain reaction.

The suit's internal precision components disintegrated under the explosive energy impact, short-circuited the circuits, and lost control of the energy circuits, turning the entire suit into an unstable bomb about to explode.

A deafening explosion rang out outside Stark Tower, sending flames soaring into the sky and billowing smoke.

Ivan Vanko's figure was mercilessly thrown into the air by this force, and fragments of his battle suit scattered and flew everywhere, like a meteor shower streaking across the night sky.

A book was thrown from his arms and flew toward Tony. Tony was startled, reached out and caught the book. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the Book of Revelation by Gerald.

Meanwhile, Ivanvanko struggled in mid-air, trying to steady himself, but his out-of-control suit had become a heavy burden, and he could only watch helplessly as he plummeted to the ground.

Tony froze, staring incredulously at the Book of Revelation in his hands, completely unable to comprehend how the prophetic book he had been searching for had suddenly fallen into his possession.

Just as the magic conch shell said, you can do nothing at all?

No, that's not the point. The point is, what's going on with that guy? Why does he also have a battle suit similar to mine?

Tony's thoughts surged like a tidal wave. He quickly snapped out of his shock and looked up at the site of the explosion. He saw the flames gradually weaken and the smoke slowly dissipate, but Ivan Vanko's figure had already disappeared from sight.

Tony quickly donned his Iron Man suit and prepared to head to the explosion site to assess the situation.

He prayed silently that Ivan Vanko would survive, because only the living could give him an explanation; if he died, all his secrets would go to the grave with him.

After flying down to the bottom, Tony discovered a clear impact crater, with more suit fragments and metal debris scattered around it.

At the edge of the pit, he spotted Ivan Vanko lying there, his armor tattered and his body appearing extremely weak.

Tony immediately activated the suit's medical assistance function to conduct a preliminary vital sign check on Ivan Vanko.

Fortunately, although the strong man was seriously injured, he was still alive for the time being. If he received timely medical treatment, he might be able to survive.

Tony breathed a sigh of relief; at least he now had a chance to unravel all the mysteries.

Tony activated the suit's emergency rescue system, summoning a rescue helicopter.

At this moment, the burly man struggled to get up.

"Hey buddy, you're so badly injured, don't get up. Suicide is a serious crime, don't think you can fool Yahweh like that."

Such teasing was naturally ignored by Ivan Vanko, who was nearly dead.

"Tony Stark..." Ivan Vanko began with difficulty, his voice weak and hoarse, "You won... but this is not the end... my father's injustice... will one day be redressed..."

Seeing him paralyzed and on the verge of dying, one can only wonder what deep-seated hatred or resentment he harbored.

"I think you've missed your chance, buddy."
