Bro, you handle the camera work, I'll take care of the female lead.

Chen Fei remained silent, showing no interest in any of it.

Li Shaohong's version of "Dream of the Red Chamber" can be described as a complete flop.

This work received even worse reviews than "New Three Kingdoms," and none of the main cast members benefited from the popularity of the TV series.

On the contrary, the other supporting actors, Yang Mi, Song Yi, Zhao Xiaodao, and Huang Xuan, had impressive performances in their subsequent acting careers.

Seeing that Chen Fei remained silent.

Jing Tian asked with a smile, "Class monitor, what are your plans after this short film ends?"

Chen Fei smiled and said, "What other plans could we have? We'll edit the short film first, and then sell it to pay off our debts."

"After the short film is sold, we'll need to find a film crew to work with, right?" Jing Tian blinked.

Chu Yuxun also tilted her head to look at Chen Fei.

Chen Fei shook his head with a smile: "It's impossible for me to join a production team and work for someone else. I'll never join a production team and work for someone else in my entire life."

Lu Shan was taken aback: "You really plan to spend your whole life directing and acting with your cousin?"

Guo Kai: "Dafei and Director Guo definitely have this ability."

Jiao Junyan smiled and gave a thumbs up: "That's ambitious! From now on, I'll follow you!"

Zhang Ruoyun swallowed a mouthful of lamb skewer with difficulty: "If I can't stay with my dad anymore, I'll come find you and your cousin."

Jing Tian smiled confidently and said, "If you have good work and need money, you can come to me~~"

Chu Yuxun's eyes curved slightly downwards: "If you become successful, remember to ask me to act in your movies. I'll ask for very little pay, and I'll be very, very obedient."

"Sure, sure," Chen Fei said, gesturing arrogantly.

Chai Biyun and Lu Shan laughed speechlessly, saying, "You're really getting out of control now that you're fat."

Being a director and a investor is never easy!

...

The crew took a day off the day after filming wrapped.

Day three.

Chen Fei and Guo Fan took the filming materials back to the Beijing Film Studio to prepare for post-production.

Because it's a film supported by the school, we can directly ask the staff of Qingdao Film Studio for help with post-production.

The full name of Qingying Studio is Beijing Film Academy Youth Film Studio. It has a close cooperative relationship with Beijing Film Academy, especially in practical teaching and project creation.

Qingying Studio is part of Beijing Film Studio.

The post-production pricing for student work can be almost negligible.

That morning.

Friday.

The entrance to the Beijing Film Academy.

The warm autumn sun poured down from the sky, a gentle breeze rustled the poplar branches, and smiling faces of youthful energy walked in and out of the school gate.

A vibrant energy unique to young people rushed towards Chen Fei and Guo Fan, who had just returned.

"School is still the best~~" Guo Fan couldn't help but sigh.

Chen Fei laughed: "Stop reminiscing, let's hurry up and do the post-production color grading and sound recording. Once this movie is finished, our next project is waiting for us."

"Hehe...Okay."

Guo Fan smiled and nodded in agreement, then walked towards the school with Chen Fei, carrying their suitcases.

I had only walked a few steps into the campus.

Students lined both sides of the road ahead, their chattering voices carrying through the crowd.

"It really is Teacher Li Shaohong!"

"You look so young, senior!"

"He must be over fifty this year, but he looks like he's in his thirties!"

"I didn't expect her to actually come in person."

"I heard that the Daiyu group, Baochai group, and Baoyu group are still selecting people."

"We still need the senior students to take care of us, unlike those senior students from the directing department who just go to the Central Academy of Drama to recruit people."

"This version of 'Dream of the Red Chamber' is said to have a very high budget."

"Not only 'Dream of the Red Chamber,' but other famous novels are also being adapted into films and television series."

After listening for a while, Chen Fei instantly understood the whole story.

Li Shaohong personally brought Rong Xinda staff to the school to cast actors for Dream of the Red Chamber.

She was one of the few female students in the 78 directing class at Beijing Film Academy. She was in the same class as Zhang Yimou and others. After graduation, she was not assigned to other film studios.

Instead, he was directly assigned to the Beijing Film Studio as a director.

He served as the assistant director for "The Bao Family".

The work has been continuous.

Of course, her most impressive work is "Palace of Desire," which she co-starred in with her husband, Zeng Nianping.

The company she founded, Rongxinda, is one of the top companies in the domestic TV drama industry.

Zhou Xun and Yang Mi both come from their company.

Among the crowd, Li Shaohong was seen wearing a light gray trench coat, with a white shirt underneath, and thick black-rimmed glasses.

With delicate features and a faint smile, she appeared both kind and elegant.

next to.

The teachers from the acting and directing departments accompanied him with smiles.

As a contracted artist with Rong Xinda, Yang Mi naturally followed behind Li Shaohong.

At this time, Yang Mi had not yet had a falling out with Rong Xinda.

Zhou Xun, the former top star, just terminated her contract, while Yang Mi and Rong Xinda are currently in a honeymoon period.

Chen Fei and Guo Fan glanced around and were about to turn and leave when Wang Chunzi spotted Chen Fei and waved, calling out, "Chen Fei, come here."

Chen Fei paused.

Guo Fan smiled憨厚ly: "Then you go see the teacher first, and I'll take the film to Qingying Studio first."

"it is good."

Chen Fei agreed and quickly stepped forward.

Both Li Shaohong and Yang Mi noticed Chen Fei.

Wang Chunzi smiled and recommended, "Director Li, this is Chen Fei, the character I told you about. What do you think? Not bad, right?"

Li Shaohong nodded, her tone indifferent: "Hmm, it's alright."

Yang Mi gave Chen Fei a polite smile.

The other teachers from the acting and directing departments also sized up Chen Fei.

Is this the student who received the film grant?

"Hello Director Li, hello teachers, hello senior Yang Mi," Chen Fei greeted politely.

Li Shaohong nodded slightly upon hearing this, not wasting any more time on Chen Fei, and turned to chat with the teachers.

Chen Fei felt somewhat embarrassed.

Wang Chunzi, also embarrassed, pulled Chen Fei through the crowd to a shady spot under a tree: "Is the movie finished filming?"

"Filming wrapped up the day before yesterday, I rested for a day yesterday, and went back to school this morning," Chen Fei answered truthfully.

Wang Chunzi beamed: "Congratulations! I've managed to get you a role through Teacher Li Shaohua."

"Jia Baoyu?!" Chen Fei said half-jokingly.

Wang Chunzi rolled her eyes at Chen Fei: "Do you think I'm the director? In such a big production by a big director, it's already a good thing that I can give you a supporting role."

Chen Fei muttered, "Then I'll be begging on my knees?"

Li Shaohong's aloofness just now made him very uncomfortable.

Although seniors in any industry treat juniors this way, Chen Fei doesn't want to film on his knees.

Wang Chunzi said in a serious tone: "If you put it that way, new actors who want to get roles really have to beg on their knees. There are so many people who want to beg, but they might not even have the connections."

"Teacher Wang," Chen Fei raised his hands in surrender, staring at Wang Chunzi, "You know I hate reading people's faces. If I'm wrong, it would be embarrassing for you and the school."

"I've already told Ms. Li Shaohong!"

"Just say I'm sick and can't be seen by anyone. Anyway, she didn't seem to care much about me earlier."

"You brat, this is a golden opportunity for you. I worked so hard to get it for you." Wang Chunzi said, exasperated.

She doesn't understand.

Why would Chen Fei, a student, refuse such a great opportunity?

Even if his cousin can make movies, there's absolutely no need for him to refuse the offers from Li Shaohong and Rong Xinda.

Chen Fei smiled and reassured him: "As the class monitor of the 07 undergraduate class of the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy, I have decided to take the lead in promoting the excellent style of dedication."

Let's give this opportunity to students who need it.

"Just don't regret it later." Wang Chunzi smiled speechlessly.

"Don't worry, I definitely won't regret it!"
