Mountain boy picks stars

Huang Xiaoxing (nicknamed "Shanwa") spent his childhood in a poor mountain village on the banks of the Yellow River. His parents went to work in other cities, leaving him as a left-behind child. He often gazed at the starry sky alone, obsessed with the dream of flying up to "pluck stars," a way to express his longing for his lost mother. After moving to the city to attend school with his father, his insistence on his "star-plucking dream," coupled with his background in the mountains, led to him being ridiculed by classmates who idolized singers, dancers, and movie stars, who called him a "mountain idiot" or a "star idiot." Coupled with academic pressure and the doubts of his classmates, he became self-destructive and lost in a state of "star-chasing confusion." His homeroom teacher, Teacher Zhou, noticed the problem of "distorted star-chasing" among the students. Combining this with the Ministry of Education's "Opinions on Comprehensively Strengthening and Improving School Aesthetic Education in the New Era," which outlines the "Nine Beauties" requirements for aesthetic education in primary and secondary schools, Teacher Zhou designed a "Nine Growth Stars" selection system (Star of Spiritual Beauty, Star of Etiquette and Music, Star of Language Beauty, Star of Behavior Beauty, Star of Science Beauty, Star of Order Beauty, Star of Health Beauty, Star of Diligence Beauty, and Star of Art Beauty), initiating a "Star-Chasing Reform Teaching Experiment." Under the guidance of her homeroom teacher, Ms. Zhou, Huang Xiaoxing regained her confidence and resolved to pursue her dream of becoming a "scientific star." Taking aerospace scientists as her role models, she overcame difficulties in learning mathematics, physics, and chemistry, and experienced setbacks such as failing in aerospace science competitions, ultimately gaining admission to an aerospace university. After graduation, she became a space payload expert and aerospace scientist, traveling into space aboard the Shenzhou spacecraft and entering the International Space Station to explore the mysteries of the universe, fulfilling her childhood dream of "reaching for the stars." Twenty years later, at her alma mater's anniversary reunion, time witnessed the transformation of a generation's "star-chasing" journey from confusion to awakening, collectively interpreting the theme that "every growth star can illuminate dreams."
