The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight pierced through the tree canopy and illuminated the forest, the forest path was already awake.

He first washed up briefly by the stream, and the cool water completely woke him up.

He then went to where the Growlithe was resting and knelt down to carefully examine its injuries.

The Growlithe was lying on its side on the dry grass. When it heard footsteps, it raised its head alertly. When it saw that it was on a forest path, it immediately relaxed and its tail wagged gently.

Lin Dao gently stroked its back and carefully unwrapped some of the bandages to check the wound.

A thin scab has formed on the burn, and the surrounding redness and swelling have subsided significantly.

Arceus's phone message shows: [Growlithe] Physical condition: Minor injury (recovering)

"The recovery is going well."

Lin Dao smiled and took out the last orange from his pocket. "Eat one more, and you'll recover faster."

Growlithe gratefully licked Lin Dao's hand before carefully picking up the berry and chewing it slowly.

The other Pokémon also recovered their health thanks to the berries, and their status bars were all green.

These little guys seem to have decided to stay here for the time being.

It seems that this shallow beach by the stream has become their temporary home; at least here, they feel safe.

Back at the camp, Li Hao was still snoring in his tent.

"Wake up, it's time to get up." Lin Dao shook Li Hao awake, who was still snoring in his sleeping bag.

"Um... just five more minutes of sleep..." Li Hao mumbled in response.

"The live stream is about to start." Lin Dao's words were like magic, and Li Hao instantly sprang out of his sleeping bag.

"Oh right! Live stream!" He scrambled out of the tent, his hair a mess like a bird's nest. "What time is it? Are the viewers already waiting?"

Lin Dao had already set up camp, with a small pot on the fire, cooking leftover oranges and a few unknown leaves, emitting a faint fragrance.

"What is this?"

"A simple breakfast." Lin Daosheng handed him a bowl.

"I boiled oranges in water with a few mint leaves that I picked from the stream. It's refreshing and helps replenish vitamins."

Li Hao took a sip and found it to be surprisingly delicious, with a sweet and sour taste.

While eating, he checked his phone and was surprised to find that the replay of last night's live stream had already received over a million views, and the comment section was buzzing.

"Brother Lin, look at this!" He handed over his phone.

On the screen, the topic of "Lin Dao, the Otherworldly Being" has climbed to third place on the trending searches.

The video clips were repeatedly edited and circulated, showing his gentle actions in treating the Growlithe, his firm declaration to the camera, and the Growlithe's weak "woof" at the end.

The comments section was polarized:

"I believe him! Those Pokémon don't look like monsters at all!"

"Time traveler? That's hilarious. These days, they'll make up any script just to get views."

"But how do you explain Growlithe's behavior of protecting the weak?"

"That volcano in Mexico is a Pokémon too? It killed so many people!"

"Please keep the live stream going! I want to know more!"

Lin Dao calmly finished reading and returned the phone to Li Hao.

"As expected. Changing perceptions takes time, especially when fears are deeply ingrained."

"So, are we still going to broadcast today?" Li Hao asked nervously, "The online criticism is pretty fierce..."

"Broadcast it, of course we'll broadcast it." Lin Dao's eyes were firm.

"And we must do even better today. Fear stems from the unknown, so let's dispel it with knowledge."

"Really, let's start now?" Li Hao asked nervously.

"Should we do some more preparation? Maybe write an article or something?"

"No need," Lin Dao shook his head.

"Sincerity is more important than any script. Let's start with the basics and introduce these Pokémon that have become our neighbors."

At nine o'clock in the morning, at Lin Dao's suggestion, Li Hao turned on the live broadcast again.

In just a few seconds, the number of viewers skyrocketed from zero to thousands, and the barrage of comments scrolled like a waterfall:

"They're here! I've been waiting all night!"

"Good morning, host! Where's Lin Dao?"

"What happened to those monsters... wait, what happened to the Pokémon?"

"Where's that guy from another world?"

"I'm new here. I heard there are people from another world here?"

"Could it be scripted? The acting is so convincing."

"The government has taken notice of this livestream; be careful it doesn't get shut down!"

"How's Growlithe? Is its injury healed?"

Li Hao fixed his phone on the simple stand, adjusted the angle, and then nodded to Lin Dao.

Lin Dao walked in front of the camera, and sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows on him.

He took a shower last night and changed into a relatively clean T-shirt from Li Hao's bag. Although it was still simple, he looked much more energetic.

"Good morning, everyone. I'm Lin Dao." His voice was steady and clear.

"Today is a new day, and it's also the first day I'm introducing the world of Pokémon to everyone. Let's start by getting to know these friends from the creek."

He ignored the arguments in the comments section and turned to walk slowly toward the area where the Pokémon were gathered.

The camera followed his movements, capturing the tranquil and beautiful scene of the streamside in the morning light, as well as the curious little creatures peering out.

Lin Dao squatted down in front of a peculiar "plant".

That wasn't an ordinary plant, but several "five-leaf clover" growing side by side. But upon closer inspection, you'd find that the leaves actually extended from the round, blue body, and there were two small, root-like feet at the bottom of the body.

Lin Dao crouched down and spoke in a voice that wouldn't disturb them.

"This is Oddish, a Pokémon with both Grass and Poison types."

"Those little blue creatures with two tiny feet from yesterday."

"You see, during the day they bury their roots in the ground to absorb nutrients and remain mostly still, just like ordinary plants. But at night, especially on moonlit nights, they wake up and move around looking for food."

He reached out and gently touched the leaf of one of the walking grass plants with his fingertips.

The walking grass didn't dodge; instead, it gently pressed its leaves against his fingers, showing affection.

"Oddish is relatively weak before it evolves, so it often chooses to live in groups with its companions or other Pokémon to take care of each other." Lin Dao gently stroked another leaf, and Oddish shook comfortably.

"They are docile and generally pose no threat to people unless they attack first."

The live chat instantly became lively:

"Wow, seeing these leaves swaying gently in the wind is so soothing!"

"So they really do stay still like plants during the day!"

"So cute! I want to keep it!"

"Watch out, streamer! I've seen this monster spit out corrosive liquid!"

"Evolve? Pokémon can evolve?"

Lin Dao saw the comment about the corrosive liquid, and while still crouching, he turned to the camera to explain.

"The corrosive liquid that my friend mentioned should be the 'Dissolving Liquid' move used by Oddish."

"In the Pokémon world, we call these special abilities 'moves.' Just like humans learn various skills, Pokémon can also master different moves as they grow."

He paused, then added, "Moves have different attributes. For example, Oddish's Dissolving Liquid is a Poison-type move, and it is indeed corrosive."

"But just like humans carry tools, Pokémon usually use moves for self-defense or hunting, and they don't attack without reason."

Lin thought for a moment and continued, "As for evolution... it's one of the most amazing processes in a Pokémon's life."

"For example, Oddish evolves into Gloom, and then evolves into Vileplume or Bellossom. Different evolutionary paths will give them different abilities and appearances."

More curious voices began to appear in the comments:

"So they're not fixed?"

Will it become stronger after evolving?

"The 'Queen of the Skies' name sounds so powerful!"

Do you have any pictures to show?

Lin Dao smiled wryly: "Unfortunately, I cannot provide pictures, because I only brought knowledge and memories with me when I came into this world."

"But if I encounter any Pokémon that are evolving or have already evolved in the future, I will show them to everyone as soon as possible."

Lin Dao stood up and smiled at the camera: "Alright, we won't disturb these little cuties' rest. Daytime is when they absorb sunlight to replenish their energy, just like we need to eat."
