Li Hao zoomed in for a close-up.

Viewers can clearly see every scale on Magikarp's body, its dull eyes, and the golden protrusion on its head that resembles a crown.

"The Magikarp looks very weak," Lin Dao continued, while gently supporting the fish's body with his other hand to prevent it from getting hurt.

"In fact, it is indeed very weak, but it possesses a unique ability to survive, a strong reproductive capacity, and adaptability."

"It can survive in all kinds of harsh waters, whether it's polluted rivers, oxygen-depleted ponds, or even waters with extreme temperatures. And it reproduces extremely quickly, which makes Magikarp so numerous in the Pokémon world."

He gently shook the Magikarp in his hand: "However, Magikarp's own combat ability is very weak."

"Most of its skills have low attack power. For example, 'Splash Jump' is just jumping up and slapping the water surface, which has almost no killing power."

Magikarp seemed to understand that Lin Dao was saying it was weak, and it splashed around in dissatisfaction, trying to splash water all over Lin Dao's face.

Lin Dao laughed: "See, it's still not convinced."

"However, Magikarp is actually quite gentle and generally won't attack other Pokémon or humans unless threatened. But when threatened, they will struggle to survive, after all, every living thing has the instinct to live."

Lin Dao gently placed it back into the water. The Magikarp stayed in the water for a few seconds, then slowly swam away.

"In the Pokémon world, there is a widely circulated legend that every year during a certain season, Magikarp swims upstream in an attempt to jump over a waterfall known as the 'Dragon Gate.' If they succeed, they evolve into the powerful Gyarados."

He paused for a moment: "But it's more of an inspirational legend."

"In reality, very few Magikarp can accomplish this feat. Most Magikarp remain Magikarp for their entire lives, living peacefully in rivers and lakes."

Lin Dao pulled up the video he had prepared earlier.

In the scene, a huge blue dragon-shaped Pokémon leaps out of the sea. It has a ferocious face and fierce eyes. A Hyper Beam shoots out from its mouth, cutting a small cruise ship in half.

"This is Gyarados, a dual-type Pokémon of Water and Flying." Lin paused the video.

"Don't be fooled by its swimming appearance; it can fly. It's the evolved form of Magikarp, but in stark contrast to the docile Magikarp. The evolved Gyarados possesses powerful attack and defense capabilities, a volatile and easily angered temperament, and an extremely strong sense of territory."

He looked seriously at the camera: "So, if you see Gyarados in the wild, you must stay away immediately and not try to approach or provoke it. Its Hyper Beam move is extremely powerful and can destroy buildings."

After a brief silence, the comments section exploded:

"Is it true that a fish leaps over the dragon gate?!"

"This silly fish can turn into that evil dragon??"

"The contrast is too great, my goodness..."

"Gyarados looks so strong, can I keep one as a pet?" (whispering)

"Stop dreaming! Didn't Lin Dao say? Run if you see him!"

"Can a Magikarp be used to make West Lake Fish in Vinegar Sauce?"

"Hey, can you really bear to eat such an inspiring fish?"

Lin Dao looked at the comments and couldn't help but laugh: "Regarding the question of whether it's edible, I'll answer seriously: don't think you can eat it just because it's a fish."

"According to records in the Pokémon world, Magikarp is made entirely of bones and scales, with very little meat that is coarse and almost inedible. And it is said that its taste... well, it's even less palatable than the infamous Pokemon."

He said seriously, "And more importantly, Pokémon are not food."

"In my world, eating Pokémon is prohibited by both law and morality. They are intelligent, sentient beings, not livestock."

He bent down again and quickly scooped up a few ordinary grass carp from the water: "Let's eat these."

"As for those who want to raise Magikarp," he said, deftly scaling the fish, "I don't really recommend beginners try it."

"Because Magikarp evolving into Gyarados is a one-in-a-million event. More importantly, under special conditions, once a Magikarp successfully evolves, it often becomes extremely ferocious. Without sufficient experience and ability, it is impossible to control and may even cause danger."

The viewers in the live chat all expressed that they understood:

"Got it, run as soon as you see it."

"Therefore, Magikarp can be approached, but Gyarados should be kept away."

"This contrast is too extreme, going from the bottom of the food chain to the top predator."

"No wonder it's called 'carp leaping over the dragon gate,' it's practically a leap in social class."

"Thanks for the explanation, I learned something new."

After processing their catch, Lin Dao and Li Hao returned to camp by the time the sun had completely set.

The sight of the camp warmed Lin Dao's heart.

The Growlithe sat by the campfire, occasionally nudging the firewood with its nose to keep the flames burning brightly.

The walking grasses have pulled their roots out of the soil, lined up, and are playing with the mushrooms and lily root babies by the stream.

The new family members have settled in. The cherubic panther chose a dry corner with its back against a rock wall and carefully placed the little panther into its makeshift nest lined with hay and soft moss.

Pichu followed the zigzagoon in and out of the tent. The zigzagoon picked up a few shiny pieces of broken glass from somewhere and proudly showed them to Pichu. Sparks crackled on Pichu's cheeks, as if in admiration.

"They adapt so quickly," Li Hao murmured, while slowly panning his camera across the campsite to capture this heartwarming scene.

The number of viewers in the live stream is still growing, having already surpassed the daytime peak.

Lin Dao nodded, skillfully starting a fire and setting up the grill while speaking to the viewers in the live stream.

"Did you all see that? That's Pokémon's adaptability."

"Given a safe environment, basic respect, and a little patience, they can quickly integrate into new communities and find their place."

He selected a few of the larger fish that had been prepared and roasted them over the campfire. He then put the rest of the fish, along with some edible wild vegetables and mushrooms, into a small pot to make soup.

Although the seasonings were simple, the ingredients were fresh, and soon the campsite was filled with a reassuring aroma of food.

The Growlithe came closer, its nose twitching and its tail wagging like a little fan.

Lin Dao tore off a small piece of grilled fish, blew on it to cool it down, and handed it to the fish, saying, "Be careful, it's hot."

Pichu ran over too, tilting its little head up with expectant eyes.

Lin Dao smiled and gave it a small piece: "You can only eat a little bit, otherwise you won't be able to sleep tonight."

The baby kangaroo peeked out from its mother's arms. The kangaroo hesitated for a moment, but still allowed its child to take a small piece of boneless fish meat from Lin Dao.

The little kangaroo ate with relish, making a satisfied "quack" sound.

The comments on the screen seemed especially gentle under the night light.

"Looking at this campsite, I suddenly wasn't afraid of the wilderness anymore."

"They seem like a family... a family of different species."

"What are Pichu and the zigzagoon doing? Are they going to sleep in a tent? I'm so envious!"

"Growlithe looks so serious while keeping watch, just like a well-trained police dog."

"The way the kangaroo mother looked at her baby...it made me cry."

"It turns out that different Pokémon really can get along peacefully."

"If only cities could be like this..."

As Lin Dao looked at the comments, the corners of his mouth unconsciously turned up.

With a slight thought, he opened the system interface of Arceus's phone and saw the points increase, realizing that as the live broadcast continued, more people's attitudes were quietly changing.

"Li Hao," he said softly.

"Starting tomorrow, we'll be systematizing our livestream content. In the morning, we'll introduce basic Pokémon knowledge and safety guidelines; in the afternoon, we'll do field explorations and interactive demonstrations; and in the evening... we might do some interactive Q&A to answer the questions viewers are most interested in."

"Okay!" Li Hao nodded excitedly, his phone shaking slightly.

"Then the viewership and engagement will definitely be even higher! Today's live stream peaked at over 250,000 viewers! Our inbox was flooded with private messages, so many people were asking all sorts of questions!"

"It's not just a matter of attention." Lin Dao looked at the leaping campfire, the firelight reflecting two small points of light in his clear eyes.

"What we need to do is truly change people's understanding of Pokémon. Every bit of understanding, every misunderstanding dispelled, could potentially save a life in the future, whether human or Pokémon."

He paused, his voice becoming even more resolute, as if making a vow: "Moreover, I need to accumulate enough points as soon as possible."

"Points?" Li Hao turned his head in confusion. "What points?"

Lin Dao didn't explain in detail, but simply handed him a grilled fish and smiled.

"Some very important knowledge requires 'influence' to acquire. Eat up, the fish is ready."

After dinner, Lin Dao asked Li Hao to turn off the live stream.

The flickering firelight illuminated the people sitting around and the Pokémon.

The Growlithe was lying asleep at the foot of the path, its belly rising and falling evenly with its breathing.

Pichu, tired from playing, curled up at the warm feet of the Kangaskhan, purring softly. The little Kangaskhan slept soundly in its mother's arms, while the Zigzagoon, guarding its "treasure" of broken glass, also drifted off to sleep.

"Brother Lin," Li Hao suddenly asked softly, his voice exceptionally clear in the quiet night.

"Do you think... we can really succeed? Get humans and Pokémon to coexist peacefully? Get this world... to accept them?"

Lin Dao remained silent for a long time. So long that the crackling of the campfire became the only sound, so long that Li Hao thought he wouldn't answer.

Then, he looked up at the night sky where stars were just beginning to appear. The arrangement of the stars there seemed slightly different from what he remembered; some unfamiliar lights joined the familiar constellations, as if the starry skies of two worlds were quietly weaving together.

"In my world," Lin Dao's voice was soft, yet carried a heavy weight.

"Humans and Pokémon didn't always live in harmony."

"There have been long periods of misunderstanding, bloody conflicts, and even wars that swept across the continent. But in the end... we chose to walk together."

He turned his gaze away, looking at the sleeping Growlithe, at the cuddling Kangaskhan mother and baby, and at the mushrooms that were still faintly glowing in the night.

"Because the most beautiful quality of intelligent life is never conquest, but understanding; not fear, but acceptance; not seeing differences as threats, but as...colors that make the world richer."
