Chapter 208 Take it easy

Neville also went up. When he stepped onto the platform, his hands were trembling and his lips were tightly pursed, as if he were facing something terrifying.

But he did not back down. He took a deep breath and raised his wand.

"Epelliarmus (Destroy your weapon)!"

A flash of red light struck the edge of the target. The target wobbled, but did not fall over.

Miss Farley didn't urge him; she simply said calmly, "Again."

Neville tried again, and this time his hands were still shaking, but it was a little better than before.

The red beam hit more accurately, striking the target slightly to the left of the center.

The target swayed a few times, but still didn't fall.

"Again."

After more than ten attempts, the target finally fell.

"Not bad." Miss Farley smiled and nodded at him in approval. Although this chubby boy had tried more times than others, it was already quite remarkable for him.

When Neville stepped down from the platform, his steps were light and airy, as if he were walking on clouds.

After all the volunteers had tried, Miss Farley had everyone practice in groups.

Each group has an assistant who guides everyone through the basic movements of the disarming spell.

The assistants went to their respective groups and began to provide guidance.

Henry didn't participate in the practice; he stood beside the platform, watching the people below.

Harry and Ron were in the same group. Ron was still not very accurate, but he was much better than before.

Harry was there to teach him to relax his wrist and not to rush.

Ron tried once, but missed; he tried again and hit the edge; on the third try, he finally hit the middle.

He turned and smiled at Harry, and Harry smiled back.

Hermione and Ginny are in the same group, and Hermione is teaching Ginny how to adjust the angle of her wand.

Ginny listened attentively, nodding occasionally.

Her face was still a little red, but her hand had stopped trembling. She tried once and hit the edge; Hermione explained it to her again, and she tried again, this time hitting the center. Her eyes lit up.

Neville and Hannah are in one group—Simo didn't come, so Neville is paired with Hannah from Hufflepuff.

It's a good thing Seamus didn't come, otherwise Neville would have been blown to pieces.

Neville was very accurate, and Hannah was very focused. They encouraged each other and smiled every time they hit a target. Neville always had an embarrassed but happy expression on his face.

Percy stood to one side, watching everyone, and occasionally he would walk over to correct someone's movements, his voice not loud, but very serious.

Miss Farley came over and stood next to Henry.

She was holding a cup of tea, which Lucy had just brewed.

"Your Highness, you're doing well today." She took a sip of tea.

"Better than I expected," Henry said with a smile.

Miss Farley looked at those people and smiled gently.

"It's remarkable that so many people from different colleges participated in a group activity for the first time without any arguments, fights, or accidents."

At this point, she turned to Henry: "And they really want to learn."

"Yes," Henry said with a smile.

The practice ended at 8:30.

Miss Farley stopped everyone, stood on the platform, and said a few words.

"You all did a great job today." Her gaze swept over everyone. "Disarming Charms are the foundation of duels, so go back and practice them more. Next week at the same time and place, we'll learn something new."

"If you have any questions, you can ask me or Miss Farley," Percy said, stepping forward as well. "You can come to us anytime when we're in the common room."

After everyone had left, Miss Farley came over and stood beside him.

"Your Highness, will it continue next week?"

"Keep going," Henry said. "Keep going as long as someone wants to come."

"Then I'll come next week too," Miss Farley said with a slight smile.

She turned and walked away, her high ponytail swaying gently behind her.

Henry stood alone on the high platform, looking at the empty room.

Lucy came over and began tidying up the tea set on the table.

She moved very lightly and carefully, as if afraid of making the slightest noise.

She placed the teacups back on the tray one by one, cleaned up the crumbs on the snack shelf, folded the towels, and tightened the caps on the medicine bottles.

"Your Highness, the tea is still warm. Would you like a cup?"

"Okay," Henry nodded.

Lucy poured a cup of tea and brought it over.

Henry took the teacup and took a sip.

The tea was still warm, with a faint honey sweetness, a flavor Lucy knew he liked.

He stood on the high platform, looking down at the room.

Nineteen people from four colleges, and no one was hostile to each other because of their different colleges.

When Harry and Ron were teaching Ron spells, Draco and Pansy were standing next to them; when Cho Chang was teaching Michael, Hannah and Susan were standing next to them; when Neville and Hannah were paired up, Ernie and Justin were standing next to them.

They come from different colleges, have different backgrounds, different personalities, and different habits.

But during those two hours, they were just people practicing spells.

He put down his teacup and stepped down from the platform.

"Lucy, prepare extra refreshments for next week's tea."

Lucy nodded.

"Yes, Your Highness."

He left the Room of Requirement and walked down the corridor to the ground floor.

When he reached the entrance to the cellar, he stopped and looked back at the corridor behind him.

Quiet and empty, with only the flickering light of torches.

He turned and walked into the common room.

Draco was sitting in that armchair, talking to Pansy and Daphne.

Pansy was gesturing wildly, and Daphne was laughing; Crabbe and Gore were dozing on the sofa, Gore's head tilted to one side and his mouth slightly open.

Draco looked up when he saw Henry enter.

"Your Highness, what do you think of today's dueling club?"

"It's fine." Henry walked over and sat down in the armchair.

"Percy Weasley did a good job today." Draco's expression was somewhat complicated, and his tone carried a hint of reluctant approval. "He was very patient with the younger students."

"Yes." Henry nodded with a smile.

Pansy chimed in, "I think he's better than I expected. I thought he'd be very serious, but he's very caring towards Ginny and patient with Neville."

"He wasn't just kind to his younger siblings," Daphne said, "he was also very patient with us, even though we were Slytherins."

Theodore peeked out from behind the book.

"Your Highness, I think there will be even more people next week."

"Why?" Pansy asked.

"Because the people who come today will go back and tell others, and once the word gets around, there will naturally be even more people next week," Theodore said matter-of-factly.

"Then we'll have to get there early next week to reserve a spot?" Pansy asked with a smile.

"We definitely need to do it sooner rather than later," Daphne said with a comical expression. "Otherwise, our spots might be taken by students from other colleges."
