Chapter 221 Maritime Debate: Using the Trident to Reason!

On the speedboat, Bob lay on the side of the boat, putting his hand into the water.

"Boss! Seize him!"

Hammer struggled in the seawater, his face covered in oil and seawater. He was about to curse when he choked on a mouthful of water. He grabbed Bob's wrist tightly.

"Up!" Bob pulled hard.

"Swoosh!" The hammer slipped from Bob's hand, causing him to cough twice and his body to sink limply downwards.

The mercenaries on deck watched their captain struggle in the water, sweating profusely, but they couldn't help him at all.

Hammer struggled to surface, his hair plastered to his face, the salty taste of seawater in his throat. He roared, "Are you all fucking idiots! Use the net! Use the fishing net now!"

The people on the speedboat pulled out several large landing nets and spent a lot of effort to drag their slippery teammates onto the deck one by one.

Hammer lay sprawled on the deck, his tactical vest soaked in oil and clinging stickily to his body. He remained motionless, his head turned to stare intently at the distant yacht, his eyes filled with humiliation and rage.

"Bring the rocket launcher."

"Boss, the employer demands that we be taken alive," a teammate beside him cautiously reminded him.

"Shut up!" Iron Hammer grabbed the rocket launcher fixed to the ship's side, knelt down on one knee, and hoisted the launcher onto his shoulder.

"Die!" Hammer roared, unleashing his fury onto the trigger.

On the yacht deck, Su Ming was looking down at the numbers in his checkbook.

Li Changfeng stood on the ship's railing, his rifle butt resting on the guardrail, his peripheral vision scanning the sea.

Years of battlefield intuition made his spine tighten, and a strong sense of crisis swept over him.

"Lie down!"

Li Changfeng lunged forward, using his body to firmly shield Su Ming and pin him tightly to the deck.

"boom--!"

The rocket hit the second deck of the yacht.

The shockwave exploded, the deck shook violently, and all three were thrown off the ground. Li Changfeng tumbled two meters with Su Ming before coming to a stop by crashing into a fixed table leg.

Hassan was sent flying, his back slamming into the storage cabinet with a dull thud.

The plank shattered and scattered, and a piece of flying debris grazed Hassan's arm, leaving a cut.

Thick, choking smoke instantly filled the air.

"Holy crap, are they really going to bombard me with cannons?"

Hassan got up and sat on the ground, staring at the bleeding wound on his arm, his tone incredulous.

He glanced back at the bulkhead that had been blasted open, his voice trembling: "My ship is mangled, and so am I."

Su Ming pushed aside the debris covering him and quickly stood up. He turned to look at Li Changfeng beside him, his voice tense: "Brother Li, are you hurt?"

Li Changfeng exhaled the gunpowder taste from his mouth, brushed the metal shards off his back, and said in a deep voice, "It's a minor injury, I won't die!"

Just as Su Ming was relieved, he caught a glimpse of the blood seeping from Hassan's arm, and his face instantly darkened.

He strode over, ripped off Hassan's shirt, and pressed it directly onto the wound.

Hassan gasped in pain, crying out, "It hurts, it hurts..."

Su Ming raised his head, his gaze coldly fixed on the speedboat in the distance.

Harming his clients is tantamount to taking away his livelihood. He never tolerates those who cut off others' source of income.

Li Changfeng noticed the unusual coldness in Su Ming's eyes. He immediately understood what was happening, quickly picked up the gold-plated AK rifle, and cocked it. He knelt on one knee, the butt of the rifle against his shoulder, the muzzle pointing towards the sea.

"Damn it, do they really think I'm here to retire?!"

Li Changfeng pulled the trigger, muzzle flashes, and a barrage of bullets swept towards the enemy speedboat, fiercely suppressing fire.

"Su Ming! Take Fatty to the lower deck! This is mine!" Li Changfeng roared without turning his head.

Su Ming did not move.

Su Ming glanced around and walked straight to the tow hook at the back of the yacht, where the jet ski was attached. He casually reached out and pulled out the steel trident for grilling meat from the nearby barbecue grill; the fork was sharp and gleamed coldly.

While Li Changfeng was changing the magazine, he glanced down at him.

"Where are you going?"

"Go and reason with them."

Li Changfeng's face darkened.

"What the hell are you talking about? What the hell are you going to do with that barbecue fork?!"

Su Ming had already mounted the motorcycle and started the engine.

"Su Ming!" Li Changfeng glared, "You get back here right now!"

The motorcycle roared to life, splashing water as its orange body skimmed across the surface and hurtled forward.

Li Changfeng stared at the shrinking figure, cursed, picked up his gun again, and increased the frequency of his suppressive fire.

The distance quickly closed.

The mercenaries on the speedboat dodged Li Changfeng's gunfire before cautiously sticking their bodies out.

Bob pointed at the jet skis cutting through the waves and was completely stunned: "Holy crap! That guy? The one who spilled oil on the deck just now?"

Iron Hammer was still rubbing his stinging eyes, gritting his teeth: "It's that little bastard!"

Bob looked at the newcomer with a strange expression: "He's riding a jet ski and carrying a roasting fork? Does he think he's Poseidon?"

"Give him a burst! Send him back to the bottom of the sea!" Hammer roared.

The mercenaries on both speedboats raised their guns simultaneously. A hail of bullets struck the sea, sending up a spray of water.

Su Ming's eyes were focused, his body moving with the rhythm of the waves. He quickly turned the steering wheel, and the jet ski leaped up using the slope of the waves, gliding through the air and skillfully avoiding the onslaught of water.

The jet skis crashed heavily back into the water, creating a large spray that temporarily blocked the enemy's view.

"Arrogant fool!" On the bow of the speedboat, a mercenary grinned as he stood up, raised his rifle, and prepared to fire.

Su Ming did not slow down. He steered with one hand, grabbed the dry powder fire extinguisher hanging on the side of the motorcycle with the other, pulled out the pin, and pressed it hard against the mercenary.

White powder was sprayed out with the wind, instantly covering the mercenary's head and face.

The mercenary's eyes stung from the irritation, causing him to cough repeatedly and struggle to breathe. His gun went completely out of control, and bullets flew wildly.

Su Ming took the opportunity to get close to the side of the speedboat.

He braced one foot on the motorcycle pedal, leaned forward, and thrust his right arm forward, extending the barbecue trident in his hand. The steel fork hooked onto the strap of the mercenary's tactical vest.

Su Ming pulled back forcefully.

"thump!"

The mercenary lost his balance and fell into the sea, gun and all.

Upon seeing this, the crew members on the other speedboat immediately turned their guns around. Without turning his head, Su Ming twisted the throttle sharply, and the jet ski made a sharp turn, instantly closing in on the blind spot of the speedboat where Iron Hammer was.

"Now, listen to my reasoning." Su Dan stepped onto the edge of the speedboat, weighing the barbecue trident in his hand, and looked down at the people on the boat.

He raised his voice, drowning out the roar of the waves: "Swimming back is the most economical solution. Otherwise, your boat will sink to the bottom of the sea."

Hammer stared at the young man holding the barbecue fork, his chest heaving. He reached for the spare pistol at his waist.

Su Ming moved even faster. With a flick of his wrist, the tip of the barbecue trident was already pressed against the iron hammer's throat. A bone-chilling cold instantly spread throughout his body.

Iron Hammer, a veteran of countless battles, immediately recognized that the fork in the young man's hand was no toy. The chilling killing intent emanating from it told him that the fork could pierce his throat at any moment.

He glanced to the side. Some of his team members were struggling in the water, others had their eyes blinded by white powder, and guns were scattered all over the ground. The old soldier on the yacht was still aiming his gun in their direction.

The two speedboats have rendered most of their combat capability useless.

Professionals know best how to cut their losses in dire situations. It's not worth risking the lives of your entire team for a single mission.

Iron Hammer's body stiffened for a moment, then he finally raised his hands, clenching his teeth, each word seemingly squeezed out from between his teeth: "We...we can swim."

"Very good." Su Ming put away his trident. "Now, jump."

Without hesitation, Hammer turned and leaped into the sea. Seeing their captain jump, the remaining team members had no choice but to abandon the speedboat one by one and jump into the sea as well.

On the yacht, Hassan leaned out and watched the scene through binoculars.

Su Ming drove the motorcycle back, secured it, boarded the boat, and placed the pitchfork on the deck.

Li Changfeng put away his gun and stood there waiting for him.

"Are you out of your mind? Trying to stab a speedboat with a harpoon?"

"The reasoning worked," Su Ming said. "They accepted the advice."

Li Changfeng glanced at him but didn't say anything more.

Hassan put down his binoculars and came over to let Su Ming re-treat the wound on his arm. Su Ming tore off the gauze with swift movements.

"It's not serious, don't move around."

"Su Ming Baba," Hassan said in a low voice, his expression serious, "I don't think you're an ordinary person."

Su Ming lowered his head and wrapped the bandage, remaining silent.

"You must be the sea god."

His hand paused.

"Mountains have mountain gods, seas have sea gods. God is my witness, I, Hassan, saw it with my own eyes today! A man, a fork, two speedboats! What else could this be but the sea god!" Hassan spoke with increasing certainty, his eyes gleaming. "Suming Baba, you are the sea god!"

Su Ming tore off the gauze, stood up, glanced at Hassan, and calmly replied, "No. I'm just good at physics."

Li Changfeng stood to the side, holding a glass of red wine that had long since gone cold, looking at Hassan and then at Su Ming.

At the summit of the snow-capped mountain, some people kneel and worship the mountain god.

Now, at sea, some people are again calling upon the sea god.

He finally downed the glass of wine in one gulp, only to feel a tightness in his chest. What a terrible thing this was!
