The cold wind howled on the mountaintop.

Su Ming looked at the rough, worthless granite in the box.

Li Changfeng looked at Su Ming.

Zhuoma looked at the sky.

The air was silent for a full three seconds.

"Su Ming, give me a straight answer." Li Changfeng's voice was hoarse, as if it had been sanded, and it carried a sense of utter despair.

He lowered the muzzle of his gun and pressed his other hand tightly against his temple.

"Are we filming a prank variety show?"

"Where's the camera? Isn't the old general the director? As long as I smile at the camera, this whole thing is over, right?"

Su Ming reached out, took the stone out, and threw it on the ground.

"There are no variety shows, only accidents."

Droma gasped in surprise and knelt down before the stone, her forehead slamming heavily against the ice. Her voice trembled as she cried out, "Mountain God Stone! The Golden Sutra has transformed into the Mountain God Stone; this is a test from the gods!"

Li Changfeng turned his head and looked at Zhuoma, whose face was full of piety.

He opened his mouth, wanting to explain what a "switcheroo" was, and that the one-eyed man and his gang were probably being used as pawns.

Finally, he shut his mouth and sighed.

After going on a mission with these two, I'll have to find a master at the temple to extend my lifespan afterwards.

In the distance, the Snow Fox Squad was also stunned.

Captain Snowfox, through the high-powered scope, clearly saw the stones inside the box. His face immediately turned ashen.

The one-eyed man is dead, and the box is empty.

Someone else snatched it away.

"Boss, over there!" the observer suddenly shouted.

Snowfox quickly moved the muzzle of its gun.

In the shadows on the other side of the ridge, a figure dressed in pure white polar camouflage clothing was gliding rapidly along the snow. The person carried a long, rectangular pack on their back and wore professional tactical skis, using the terrain for cover as they sped down the mountain.

That was a true oriole.

The snow fox spat out a single word through gritted teeth: "Chase him! No matter who he is, we must skin him alive!"

Five special forces soldiers quickly fastened their skis. Their movements were perfectly synchronized and incredibly professional.

"There are people there," Su Ming said, pointing in that direction.

Li Changfeng's face turned ashen: "I saw it! A master skier! At that speed, even if we ran our legs off, we'd only be able to follow behind and eat snow! Su Ming, what do we do now?!"

"uncertain."

Su Ming turned the empty metal box upside down and placed it at the starting point of the slope where the snow was thickest.

"Captain Li, get in the car." Su Ming put one foot on the box to test its stability.

Li Changfeng was dumbfounded: "Get...get on what vehicle? This thing doesn't even have wheels!"

"Inertia pulley." Su Ming crouched down, gripping the handle at the front of the box tightly with both hands. "Hurry, the Snow Fox people are catching up."

Li Changfeng looked at the metal box, which was only two sizes bigger than his buttocks, and then at the Snow Fox squad, which had begun to accelerate its dive in the distance.

The bullets struck the snow at my feet, sending up shards of ice.

"Hold!"

Li Changfeng cursed, his body instinctively lunging forward, sitting on the back of the box, and tightly hugging Su Ming's waist with both hands.

This was the tightest hug he had ever had in his life.

"Take me with you! Don't abandon your believers!"

Upon seeing this, Zhuoma let out a strange cry, took two steps to run up, and jumped directly onto Li Changfeng's back. She wrapped her arms around Li Changfeng's neck and clamped her legs around his waist.

The three of them were crammed onto a metal box like a human pyramid.

"Hold on tight, this is a hearse in the snow-capped mountains, a professional team, guaranteed not to overturn."

Su Ming pushed off the ground with both feet.

The bottom of the metal box was extremely smooth. Using the potential energy of the steep slope, this rudimentary "vehicle" shot forward.

"Whoosh—"

The box slid down the steep ice slope.

The speed is getting faster and faster.

The biting cold wind stung people's faces.

Li Changfeng felt like his internal organs were about to be shaken out. This thing had no shock absorption; his buttocks were just hard metal and ice.

Holy crap!

Li Changfeng cried out in surprise because the box had just flown over a small hill and hovered in the air for half a second.

Zhuoma, beaming with excitement, roared from Li Changfeng's back, "Flying! Divine messenger, flying! Tashi Delek! Mountain God, charge!"

Her voice echoed through the valley, even drowning out the sound of the wind.

Ahead, the Snow Fox team, who were skiing at full speed to chase the man in white, heard the noise behind them.

One of the team members turned around.

Then his eyes widened as he saw a silvery mass carrying three people rushing towards him at an illogical speed.

"What the hell is that?!" the team member shouted in terror.

Excuse me, I'm in a hurry.

Su Ming's calm voice drifted away in the wind.

He subtly adjusted his center of gravity, and the metal box deftly swerved at high speed, passing between the two special forces soldiers.

The snow mist kicked up from the edge of the box sprayed all over the special forces soldier's face.

Captain Snow Fox was leading the skiing when he heard the noise and was about to turn around when he felt a gust of wind sweep past him. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of the metal box and the three distinctly different faces on it:

The driver remained calm and composed; the man in the middle had a distorted face, seemingly in agony; while the woman at the top appeared to be insane, raising her hands and screaming.

"..." Snow Fox looked at this fast-moving lunatic and felt that his years of tactical skills had been shattered.

Su Ming steered the box faster and faster, chasing after the white-clad thief in the lead.

Li Changfeng closed his eyes.

A sharp pain shot through his tongue; he felt as if he had bitten himself. But this pain was nothing compared to the mental torment he was suffering.

He closed his eyes numbly, only one thought remaining in his mind: resign! He had to resign!

Screw the security department, screw the special forces.

I want to go back to the village and drive a tractor.
