Chapter 113 Jerry: If you want to kill me, please don't do it in two.

"Buzz—!!!"

The deafening roar of the engine tore through the rain.

The armed hovercraft did not ram the bamboo raft directly, but drifted sideways on the wide water surface a hundred meters away, its hull creating two huge fan-shaped water curtains.

"12.7mm caliber, M2HB heavy machine gun, also known as 'Lao Gan Ma' (a popular chili sauce brand)."

Ling Qiao pressed down hard on the medicine girl with one hand, trying to keep her body low, and said coldly, "If this thing just grazes the edge, Jerry will be split into two pieces, no stitches needed."

"Why did you have to use me as an example!" Jerry screamed. The monkey on his back seemed to sense the steel behemoth's murderous aura; it stopped screaming and instead clung tightly to Jerry's neck with all four limbs, choking Jerry until his eyes rolled back. "Brother Su! It's turning! It's pointing its gun at us!"

Su Ming didn't speak; he was gambling.

I'm betting this flood is muddy enough, betting the river is chaotic enough, and betting the King of Hell won't charge me overtime pay today.

"Hurry up! Hang your lives on this bamboo!"

Su Ming let out a low roar, plunged the bamboo pole in his hand into the water, and instantly became as taut as a fully drawn bow.

Using a clever trick, the bamboo raft traced a strange "S" shape on the water's surface, forcefully entering a backflow area filled with broken logs and garbage.

"Knock knock knock knock!"

A muffled gunshot rang out.

Those weren't firecrackers; they were the knocking of death, each sound striking the heart.

A bullet the size of a thumb tore through the water, instantly sending up a two-meter-high column of water on the right side of the bamboo raft. Several floating logs were hit and exploded into a shower of wood chips.

Jerry stared at the bullet-sharpened reeds, tears and snot streaming down his face. "This is so unfair! This is unplayable! Brother Su, should we surrender? According to the Geneva Convention..."

"Shut up! This is a lawless zone. Nobody cares about your pacts, they only care about collecting corpses!"

Su Ming didn't even turn his head, interrupting his nonsense: "Look ahead!"

Ling Qiao wiped the mud off her face and roared, "He's playing cat and mouse! Venomous Fang is trying to force us into the open area downstream, where there's no cover and we'll be sitting ducks!"

On the hovercraft, Venom wore goggles, letting the rain wash over his muscular face.

He's really not in a hurry.

In this vast expanse of water, his hovercraft was an invincible warship, while the opponent's dilapidated bamboo raft was nothing more than a leaf drifting with the current; whether it capsized or not depended entirely on his mood.

Fang coldly ordered into his headset, "Shoot them on both sides, but don't kill the girl. I want to watch them sink into despair, like drowning rats."

The machine gunner grinned maliciously and slightly adjusted the muzzle of his gun.

"Da da da da!"

Bullets swept wildly along the edge of the bamboo raft, the massive shockwaves nearly causing it to fall apart. The bamboo groaned and creaked, and the ropes connecting the bamboo sections were stretched taut.

"Brother Su! This boat is going to fall apart!" Jerry felt the bamboo beneath him separating. "My Monkey King is about to pee his pants! No, he already peed! Right on my neck! It's still warm!"

"Use it as a hand warmer, don't be picky." Su Ming didn't turn around, his gaze piercing through the layers of rain, staring intently ahead.

Ahead lies a "death jungle".

Several centuries-old banyan trees were uprooted by the flood and wedged in the middle of the river, surrounded by vines and garbage, forming a natural maze-like embankment. Going in meant death, not going in also meant death.

"You mean..." Ling Qiao saw through Su Ming's intention, her pupils shrinking sharply, "That's suicide! The hovercraft can't get in, and we can't get out! It's full of undercurrents!"

"That's the only way to survive."

Su Ming's feet were as steady as a rock. He slammed the bamboo pole against the rocks on the shore, giving no one else any time to react.

"Get out of here!"

The bamboo raft leaped up suddenly in the rapids, like a slippery eel, and plunged headfirst into the intricate thicket of fallen trees.

Venomous Fang watched the bamboo raft enter the obstacle course, frowning. "That's a maze; they can't get out. Go around it and intercept them at the downstream exit!"

"Boss, this forest is too dense. If the hovercraft tries to ram it, the skirt will be torn," the driver warned.

Venomous Fang sneered, "Then blow up the forest. Use RPGs to blast a path through it! I want to see them despair."

"Boom! Boom!"

Rockets exploded behind us, sending splinters of wood flying.

Su Ming and his companions weaved through the labyrinthine tree roots. The water here was swift and treacherous; a single misstep could send them swirling into the whirlpools beneath the roots.

"Left side! Press down!" Su Ming roared.

Jerry immediately rolled to the left like a giant ball of flesh, with the monkey on his back squeaking and yelping along with him.

The bamboo raft grazed past a thorny soapberry tree trunk, a truly perilous moment.

"There's no road ahead!" Ling Qiao cried out desperately, pointing ahead.

Two fallen giant trees formed an extremely narrow "V" shaped opening, less than a meter wide, from which floodwaters were gushing out madly.

"That's the road."

Su Ming threw away the cracked bamboo pole, grabbed a thick aerial root hanging overhead, and roared, "Everyone, huddle together! Form a ball!"

"What ball? This is my size! Can't you show some respect for fat people!" Jerry cried out.

next second.

"Bang!"

The bamboo raft crashed into that V-shaped opening.

The terrifying water pressure squeezed and deformed the bamboo raft, making a teeth-grinding cracking sound.

"Snap!"

The bamboo raft broke in the middle!

Just as the bamboo raft broke, it folded up and carried the four people and the monkey, like toothpaste squeezed out by a high-pressure water gun, and was "sprayed" out by the enormous water pressure!

"ah----!!!"

Jerry's screams echoed through the canyon.

They broke through the obstacle course.

But this is not a safe zone, but rather...

Ling Qiao looked up, her face instantly turning deathly pale.

The hovercraft had already circled around to the front and was lying across the water—that old sixth guy!

The dark muzzles of guns were waiting in ambush, aimed at them as they rushed out of the exit.

Venomous Fang stood at the bow of the ship, a cold smile on his lips, as if he were looking at a group of newborn piglets waiting to be slaughtered.

He opened his mouth, silently uttering a single word:

"Game Over".
