Geng staggered to his feet, but before he could even stand up, he was punched in the face again.

The pain was so intense that he saw stars.

Geng covered his face, his anger mixed with shock: "Mo?"

Mo's expression was icy cold as he grabbed Geng's clothes and slammed him to the ground again.

Mo looked down at him, his expression gloomy, and said, word by word, "You hit him?"

He slammed his back against the rock, and his face turned pale instantly. He clutched his waist and gasped for breath.

"Who? Bai Ze?" Geng's expression twisted in pain. "He told you I hit him?"

Mo stepped directly on Geng's crippled leg: "I warned you."

Geng suddenly laughed: "You did say that, but can you control Bai Ze? He's willing to come over."

"What, even the most powerful orcs have to beg him to give them a second glance, don't they?"

Mo suddenly exerted force, and Geng instantly fell silent, cold sweat beading on his forehead.

Mo pressed the sharp blade against the skin of his neck and down slightly, causing beads of blood to seep out.

Geng's body tensed abruptly, and his voice finally became strained: "I am Bai Ze's beast father. If you dare to lay a hand on me, he will not forgive you!"

Mo stared coldly at Geng, but his hand holding the hilt of the knife paused for a moment.

Geng believed his words had worked, and his voice stopped trembling: "You need to understand, who does Bai Ze listen to the most?"

She even started threatening, "What if he finds out about you—"

However, before he could finish speaking, Mo punched Geng several times, giving him no chance to continue.

Geng's expression turned ferocious, and he instantly transformed into a beast, lunging at Mo.

Mo, who always wore old clothes when he went hunting, now transformed into a black panther and began tearing at his comrades.

Geng was a lynx, smaller than an adult black panther, and middle-aged with a limp. Naturally, he was no match for Mo and was quickly pinned to the ground.

He could only retract his sharp teeth and tuck his tail between his legs to show weakness.

Mo spat out a large clump of gray hair from his mouth and frowned in disgust.

A duel between orcs will end when one of them begs for mercy.

But today is different.

Before Mo could even catch his breath, he picked up the gray lynx and started throwing and hitting it at him like he was making beef balls.

Geng was in so much pain that his eyes rolled back. He could still cry out a couple of times at first, but then he didn't even have the strength to cry out anymore.

Only after Yuan and Bai Qing returned with their food did Mo slowly loosen its paws, brush its tail, and strut away.

"Geng!"

"Beast Father!"

Yuan and Bai Qing rushed forward to check on Geng's condition, and they hugged each other and cried bitterly.

"He's not dead yet." Geng was forced to open his eyelids, panting. "Go find the Great Shaman..."

Mo lingered outside the cave but did not go in.

It was Bai Ze who noticed the black figure in the bushes. As he approached, his brows furrowed instantly: "Mo, why do you smell of blood?"

"You were injured while hunting?"

He immediately became worried: "Let me see!"

Black Panther shook his head and darted into the cave with a shifty look in his eyes.

Bai Ze followed closely behind and saw Mo, now completely naked after his transformation, standing casually in front of him.

"The clothes are ruined," he said calmly.

Bai Ze tried hard to control his eyes from wandering and stepped forward: "It's okay, I'll make you a new one."

This is not the point.

He quickly asked, "Where are you hurt?"

Mo Wei turned slightly to the side, revealing her left shoulder.

There were several deep scratches on it, and it was still bleeding.

"What scratched you?" Bai Ze stared intently at the wound, not daring to touch it, worried sick.

Mo replied, "Geng."

"Huh?" Bai Ze didn't realize who Geng was.

"Your beastly father," Mo repeated, "your beastly father captured him."

"Why did he grab you?" Bai Ze was furious. He was so old, and his hair was almost all burned off, yet he still wouldn't behave.

Mo: "I beat him up."

"Why?" Bai Ze was taken aback.

"He bullied you."

"You...you know about what happened yesterday?"

"Hmm." Mo looked at Bai Ze. "I'm very angry."

"It's nothing really," Bai Ze smiled. "I didn't lose out either; I just got a lot of burns on his body."

"I see it, it's ugly." Mo moved closer.

Bai Ze lowered his head somewhat embarrassedly, then suddenly looked up again.

He forgot that the ink was still shining.

Just then, Mo Zheng lowered his eyes and stared at Bai Ze, and his warm lips landed right on the bridge of his nose.

"!" Bai Ze's eyes widened suddenly, and his heartbeat seemed to slow down.

Mo didn't move. He looked at Bai Ze's trembling eyelashes and for the first time felt that his height was a bit of a hindrance.

One second, two seconds—

After realizing what was happening, Bai Ze quickly took a few steps back, putting distance between himself and Mo.

The breath on his nose faded, and Mo clutched his shoulder, a strange expression of pain from the wound flashing across his face.

Bai Ze quickly went over to help him up: "Sit on the bed first, I'll get a basin of water to treat your wound."

Mo was very aware of his injuries, and almost restrained his strength, leaning against Bai Ze.

Jue has already gone to the shaman to get the medicine.

The pot contains boiled water.

Bai Ze carried the stone basin and walked in with difficulty, only to see that Mo was still bare.

He said tactfully, "Why don't you put on some clothes first? It's cold, you'll easily get sick."

Mo looked at Bai Ze: "The clothes are in another cave."

"I'll get it for you."

Looking at the few clothes on the rack, some of which had holes, Bai Ze felt he needed to make more for Mo.

After all, one should present a presentable appearance when going out.

He took a simple animal skin skirt, wrapped it around his neck, and tied it up.

It's fine to leave it in neutral for a while, since there's no one else at home.

Mo obediently sat on the edge of the bed, watching Bai Ze carefully clean his wounds.

I was pleased with the tenderness in his eyes.

Mo was a little disappointed; he should have let Geng catch a few more.

Jue ran very fast and returned with the medicine in no time.

After Bai Ze took it, Mo gave the cub a look.

Jue pursed her lips, turned around and left.

"It might hurt a little," Bai Ze said gently. "Just bear with it."

"Um."

Once the wounds were mostly treated, Mo suddenly spoke, his voice tinged with unease: "I'm sorry."

"Why should I apologize?" Bai Ze asked, puzzled.

"I hit Geng." Mo lowered his eyes. "He... is your beastly father."

He said you're family.

Bai Ze looked at him quietly. He was such a powerful person, yet now he seemed so vulnerable.

He bent down and hugged Mo: "Thank you for helping me get revenge."

"You are my family."

Mo paused for a moment, then tentatively raised his hand and placed it on Bai Ze's waist.

Seeing that he didn't move, she pulled him completely into her arms and promised, word by word, "I won't let anyone bully you."

"Including myself."

Bai Ze's heart seemed to be beating faster, and his nose suddenly felt a little sore.

It feels pretty good to have someone back you up and protect you.

Mo Jiujiu did not let go.

Bai Ze patted him, trying to tilt his face up from Mo's chest: "What do you want for breakfast?"

"Anything is fine." Mo was so happy she was practically bubbling over.

"Let's stew goji berries, walnuts, and 'Gigolo' together to make a soup; it's good for replenishing blood."

"Um."

"Then...can you let go for a moment?" Bai Ze coaxed him like a child. "I need to go cook."

Mo was a little reluctant, but he nodded anyway: "Okay."
