Nangong Tianshou smiled slyly, "How could you have a younger brother who's a burden? That's your dear nephew, and you're his aunt."

"Oh, you want me to be an aunt?" Niannian glanced at Yu Meng. "My older brother's child hasn't arrived yet. How about we practice being aunts first?"

"I think this is a good idea. Just like I let you try catching aliens on me, an aunt should also practice. I'm willing to give you my little grandson to practice on. Don't you think I'm being generous?"

Niannian shook her head, "I'm very well-behaved at home." Meaning that she wasn't home now, she didn't have to be well-behaved.

Nangong Tianshou laughed heartily, "There are many fun places in this courtyard. Shall I have your older brother take you out to play?" He then pointed at Zhou Jingyan, "Is he any good as your older brother?"

Niannian stood up. "Just say you and Fourth Sister have something to discuss, and let me avoid this. It would be much better."

Zhou Jinyan followed Niannian out.

Nangong Tianshou's smile faded. "This alien seems to pose no challenge to you. Could you tell me about it?"

Yu Meng looked at him earnestly, "It's not that I don't want to say, but that I can't explain it clearly. It's like a state of mind; once you reach that level, you'll naturally understand what to do."

Yu Meng then countered with, "Didn't Aunt Qing come out with you?"

"I only survived because of someone's connections; otherwise, I would have been a worthless person." Nangong Tianshou really didn't expect to come out alive.

Yu Meng did not interrupt him.

"Qingyuan is alright for now. After I came out, I sent them a lot of supplies, which should last them for a while. But they won't come out until the aliens are dealt with."

"How many of you came out this time?" Yu Meng asked curiously. "The Zhou family in the capital must be very powerful. Even so, you were only able to get out because of their influence. Isn't that person even more powerful? If she's so powerful, why didn't she help you get rid of your alien form?"

Nangong Tianshou looked at Yu Meng, "Take a guess?"

"Most likely, she's angry and wants to make you suffer more. I bet if she can get rid of the alien, she'll come looking for you within a day or two. We have a deal, you can't tell anyone about me and Niannian, the first to speak out is always the first to die."

"You trust me that much?"

Yu Meng looked down at her fingers. How did she know what was going on between them?

She glanced up at Nangong Tianshou and saw he was still staring at her. "I've never been in a relationship, how would I know what you were thinking back then?"

Yu Meng looked aggrieved; she felt that Nangong Tianshou was making things difficult for her.

Nangong Tianshou pursed his lips. He must be crazy. How could he say such a childish question?

"Cooperation?" Yu Meng looked at him suspiciously. "Don't you dare trick me. I'm so young, I still need to live a good life. My parents are waiting for me to take care of them in their old age."

"Do you think I'll force you to stay?" Nangong Tianshou's face was gloomy as he stared intently at Yu Meng.

"Can you stand up now?" Yu Meng asked with a smile.

"How did you figure that out?"

"I was the one who noticed your son, Xiao Hao, was poisoned back then." Yu Meng looked at Nangong Tianshou with sympathetic eyes. "Your Zhou family lost in this game." She said it with certainty.

Nangong Tianshou's imposing aura vanished in an instant. "How could a family like that raise such a monster like you? I even wanted to snatch you back to the Zhou family and hide you away."

"The nail that sticks out gets hammered down. You should focus on getting better first, then we can talk about the future." Yu Meng stood up. "I'm leaving. Remember, I wasn't here. You're lucky you met a benefactor. Or you could say that your mother-in-law was protecting you from the shadows."
