After a brief rest and bandaging, the atmosphere within the team became even more subtle. Wang Huanbo (Iron-Blooded Armor Form) was like a giant magnet, drawing everyone's attention, a mixture of fear, curiosity, and an inescapable wariness. His recently displayed combat prowess and that "highly effective disinfectant" brought a brief sense of security, but also deepened his mystique.

"You said you destroyed the incubator at Restaurant B?" Captain Xue De, trying to get more information, scrutinized Wang Huanbo with sharp eyes. "What else do you know? Why did Red Queen seal off this place? What is the company hiding?"

Wang Huanbo's mask revealed no expression, his electronic voice remaining steady: "Red Queen implemented the highest security protocol because the T-virus leak is irreversible. As for the company… they never do business at a loss. The most valuable thing in the Hive is probably not you, nor those zombies, but… data, and certain 'successful' experimental subjects." His gaze seemed to casually sweep over Alice and Matt (the latter being an environmentalist who was trying to expose the Umbrella Corporation). These words, like a stone thrown into a still lake, stirred ripples in the hearts of the A team members. They began to doubt the true purpose of their mission.

Technician Chambers attempted to access the Hive's internal network to obtain more information, only to find that access was locked more tightly than expected. "Damn it, the Red Queen has completely denied access, or... a higher-level command has overridden it," he said in frustration.

"Higher privileges?" Rain frowned. "Besides the Red Queen, who else?"

Wang Huanbo sneered inwardly. It was undoubtedly higher-ups within the Umbrella Corporation. Perhaps they were the ones remotely controlling parts of the system, attempting to recover crucial data on one hand, and on the other… perhaps viewing this operation as a field test, testing BOW's combat capabilities, the cleanup team's effectiveness, or even testing "accidental creations" like Alice. But he didn't reveal this, simply saying, "Let's move on. The longer we stay, the more dangerous it becomes. I can sense something much bigger… has awakened."

Before he could finish speaking, a dull, resounding crash, like a heavy hammer striking metal, came from the depths of the passage! Accompanied by a low, violent roar!

"What the hell?!" JD nervously raised his gun.

On Wang Huanbo's visor, the life detector indicated that a huge, high-speed moving target with extremely high energy was approaching! "Be on guard! The big guy is coming!" he shouted, and the plasma cannon on his shoulder instantly rose up, locking onto the corner of the passage.

The next second, a huge, ugly, muscular monster with arms mutated into giant claws—an early prototype of Nemesis (for convenience, let's call it the Pursuer)—crashed through the corner wall and burst out! It was over two and a half meters tall, exuded a nauseating stench, and its one eye was fixed on the group of people… no, more accurately, it was fixed on Alice!

"Fire!" Xue De ordered without hesitation!

Gunfire erupted! Assault rifle bullets rained down on the pursuer, leaving gaping holes, but nothing could stop its advance! It roared, wielding its massive claws to sweep away the zombies in its path, and charged straight at Alice!

"Its target is Alice!" Matt exclaimed, trying to stand in front of Alice.

Wang Huanbo's eyes turned cold: "You're courting death!" The plasma shoulder cannon was fully charged, and a blue plasma beam roared out!

"Boom!" The beam of light struck the pursuer precisely in the chest, blasting open a charred hole! The pursuer let out a painful roar, its charge momentarily halted, but it did not fall! The muscle tissue at its wound began to writhe and heal at a visible speed!

"What?! Regeneration ability?!" Rain was shocked.

"Ordinary weapons are ineffective! Attack its head!" Wang Huanbo shouted, moving to meet the attack head-on! He couldn't easily use the Ultraman Armor or the Thousand Blades Demon Blade, as that would completely expose his strength. He would use the Ironblood Armor in conjunction with his fighting techniques to solve this problem.

Seeing Wang Huanbo charging towards him, the pursuer swung its giant claw down with tremendous force, creating a whistling sound!

Wang Huanbo neither dodged nor evaded, combining Huang Feihong's hard-hitting martial arts with the power of the armored vehicle. With a low shout, he unleashed the "inch punch" from the Iron Wire Fist, and his fist, covered in armor, met the attack head-on!

"Bang!!!"

Fist and claw clashed, producing a dull, thunderous sound like striking leather! The shockwave rippled outwards! Wang Huanbo swayed slightly, and the ground beneath his feet cracked! The pursuer was even forced back half a step by the impact!

The members of Team A were stunned! What terrifying power was this?! To actually go toe-to-toe with that kind of monster!

"Cover him!" Xue De reacted, ordering his team to concentrate fire on the pursuer's head and joints. Ryan even pulled out a high-explosive grenade.

Wang Huanbo engaged in close-quarters combat with his pursuers! He pushed his martial arts skills to the limit! The ferocity of the Gongzi Fuhu Fist, the agility of the Tiger-Crane Double Form, and the speed of the Foshan Shadowless Kick, amplified by his armor, were incredibly powerful! He would sometimes dodge claw attacks like a crane, sometimes engage in close combat like a tiger, and sometimes attack their lower body with tricky leg techniques! His wrist blades were like venomous snakes, constantly leaving deep, bone-revealing wounds on his pursuers!

However, the pursuers possessed extraordinary regenerative abilities and terrifying strength. For a time, they fought to a standstill. The passageway shook violently from their fierce battle, the walls crumbled, and the lights flickered.

"This won't do! We need more firepower!" JD shouted.

Wang Huanbo knew he couldn't afford to linger. He feigned an opening, luring the pursuers to charge with all their might, then deftly dodged with a somersault, while simultaneously recharging his shoulder cannon and aiming it at the pursuer's ugly head at extremely close range!

"Go to hell!"

"Whoosh—BOOM!!!"

This time, the plasma beam exploded at point-blank range! The pursuer's head exploded like a watermelon! The headless corpse swayed, then fell heavily to the ground, its wounds charred and its regenerative abilities halted.

The battle was over, leaving the passage in ruins. The members of Squad A stared at Wang Huanbo, who stood proudly beside the monster's corpse, their expressions completely changed. This was beyond their understanding of "powerful." Alice gazed at Wang Huanbo's retreating figure, her eyes filled with complex emotions; the T-virus within her seemed to have become even more active due to the fierce battle.

Wang Huanbo was slightly out of breath, adjusting his breathing. He hadn't gone all out in the fight just now, but it was within reasonable limits to flex his muscles, intimidate Team A, and facilitate subsequent operations. He glanced at the timer on his visor; time was running out.

"Keep moving forward. We must find an exit as soon as possible," Wang Huanbo said in a deep voice. "The Hive's self-destruct program may have been triggered, or... worse." He meant that Umbrella Corporation may have remotely initiated the cleanup process.

The group dared not delay and continued moving towards the upper levels of the hive. However, unbeknownst to them, at the very bottom of the hive, due to the massive energy fluctuations and the disappearance of life signals from the battle with the pursuers, an even more terrifying entity—the ultimate mutant accidentally created by the T-virus and sealed away by the Red Queen in the deepest part of the laboratory—slowly opened countless eyes. A true nightmare was about to descend. A palpable sense of oppression enveloped everyone's hearts.
