Dorian looked toward the source of the sound and saw a man dressed in an ancient robe, holding a tray in his hand, with a fair and delicate face standing at the door.

Dorian recognized the ancient robe as the distinctive attire of the Embera insectoid race, and he also discerned that the person standing at the door was a male insectoid.

Although he was just a low-ranking male insect, his years of etiquette habits still made him reflexively want to bow to male insects.

Then he froze again.

Seeing the pain on Dorian's face, the male insect that had been standing at the door quickly walked into the room, talking as he went.

"You're awake. Don't move around too much. You're badly injured. It would be troublesome if the wound reopened."

Dorian lowered his head and adjusted his breathing to ease the pain in his body.

Suddenly, he noticed that his clothes had changed; they were now a simple, ancient robe similar to those worn by male insects. He could also feel that his undergarments had been changed as well.

This discovery made him turn pale. After waking up, he had only seen this male insect, so it was very likely that this male insect had changed his clothes.

Although he understood that this was most likely to save him, having his body seen by a male insect other than the alpha male was a disgrace to the family.

The male insect seemed to sense Dorian's worry, and after putting down the tray in his hand, he said.

"Don't worry, Uncle Apache changed your clothes and applied the medicine to you. He's our village doctor, and he's also a female insect."

Hearing this, Dorian felt relieved and his expression returned to normal.

"Sir, did you save me?" Dorian asked.

The male insect laughed and said, "What do you mean by 'Your Excellency'? Just call me Fiss."

"Your Excellency Fez, hello, my name is Dorian."

Dorian didn't reveal his surname. Although he felt that Fez was a good bug, they had only just met, so it was better to be cautious.

Fez was exasperated by Dorian's insistence on addressing him as "Your Excellency" and stopped trying to correct him.

"I saved you. When I went to pick wild fruit, I found you buried in a pile of ashes, so I brought you back."

"Thank you for your kindness, Your Excellency Faith."

"It's only right to lend a helping hand to insects in distress, but Dorian, you're from another planet, aren't you?"

"Yes, I came from the capital planet."

"The capital planet? That's way too far from here. What are you doing here all this way?"

"Digging for rubies."

Upon hearing this answer, Fies asked, puzzled, "Shouldn't we be able to buy rubies from the capital planet? Why bother coming all the way here to dig them up?"

Dorian hesitated, unsure whether he should say too much to Fez.

Seeing Dorian's hesitation, Fez immediately changed the subject.

"By the way, you slept for a long time, you must be hungry, eat something first."

Fies helped Dorian up, then picked up the bowl from the tray, ready to feed him.

Dorian glanced at it; the contents of the bowl appeared to be porridge.

Under normal circumstances, Dorian would not agree to let Fies feed him; it is too improper for a male insect to serve a female insect.

However, his body has been severely damaged and he is unable to feed himself. In addition, he urgently needs to replenish his food to help his body recover as soon as possible, so he can only put the rules aside for the time being.

He had just swallowed the porridge when he felt his mind go blank for a moment.

Because this porridge was so awful, Dorian felt that the raw meat he was forced to eat on the battlefield was much better than this stuff.

He used all his remaining willpower to prevent himself from showing any impoliteness.

Considering his physical condition, Dorian still managed to finish the porridge.

However, when Fies asked him if he wanted another bowl, he still shook his head vigorously, ignoring the pain.

After feeding, Fies tidied up the dishes and then spoke to Dorian.

"Then you should rest first. I'll have Uncle Apache come and change your dressing in a little while."

Dorian looked at the green, paste-like substance applied to his wound and asked.

"What medicine did that Apache uncle apply to me?"

"It's herbal medicine he made himself. Don't worry, Uncle Apache's medical skills are excellent, and the herbs he makes are very effective."

Although Fies praised the Apache doctor's medical skills, Dorian still had more faith in modern medicine. He felt that if he could enter the medical pod, he would definitely recover quickly.

"Your Excellency Fez, thank you very much for your and Uncle Apache's concern, but I still want to go to the hospital to get checked out. Could you take me there?" Dorian asked.

Fies looked troubled.

"Hospitals are only available in the city, and the city is far from here. I'm afraid your body can't handle going there now."

Dorian wanted to suggest that the hospital send a spaceship to pick him up, but then he realized that this wasn't the capital planet, so it probably wouldn't be that convenient.

No problem, this little thing can be solved with Star Coins.

"Lord Fez, may I ask where my communicator is?"

"A communicator?"

Fies stared blankly for a few seconds, then walked out of the room.

When he returned, he was carrying a tray, and Dorian saw the clothes he had been wearing earlier on the tray.

"Everything we took from you is here. See if the communicator you mentioned is in there," Fiss said.
