Yog is a remote, underdeveloped, and isolated planet with a small inhabitant population of less than five million, primarily inhabited by the native Embera insectoid race.

The Embera insectoids are a minority group within the Empire. They worship nature, advocate a simple lifestyle of living in harmony with nature, and dislike technological products. Therefore, to this day, they live a life that outsiders would consider primitive.

Because most of the Embera insectoids are of low level, and Yog is covered with volcanoes and has few resources, with its only specialty, rubies, being scarce, the Empire has little interest in investing resources to win over the Embera insectoids or develop Yog, letting the Embera insectoids do their own thing on Yog.

Dorian went to great lengths to obtain permission to land on Yog. Once inside Yog, he discovered that the planet was indeed as backward as rumored, as if it were still living hundreds of years in the past.

The entire planet has only three slightly modernized small cities.

However, none of this mattered to Dorian. He had no interest in admiring the ancient buildings on Yog, which seemed like relics. He just wanted to dig up the rubies as quickly as possible and leave as soon as possible. There were still many things to deal with regarding the wedding.

The rubies that are a specialty of Planet Yug are all found near volcanoes, and the closer to the crater, the better the quality of the gems.

Dorian knew that if he went to the already developed mines, it would be difficult to find a ruby that would satisfy his fiancé. The best way was to go to the undeveloped volcanoes to mine.

So before landing on Yog, he selected a relatively safe, undeveloped volcano that hadn't erupted in decades, based on the information he had gathered. He planned to head straight for the volcano after disembarking from the spaceship.

After leaving the port where the spaceship docked, which looked like an ancient artifact, Dorian went straight to his destination to dig for rubies, without lingering for a moment.

Dorian chose a volcano in a very remote location, where there were no insects around, and it was very quiet, with only the sounds of a few animals moving around.

In order to find enough rubies to deliver as soon as possible, Dorian went directly to the vicinity of the volcano to dig.

After three days of focused digging, he finally unearthed a ruby with a rich and vibrant color.

Feeling he had accomplished his mission, Dorian prepared to return home, but as soon as he stood up, he sensed something was wrong. The surroundings were eerily silent; he couldn't hear a single sound of life.

A bad feeling arose in Dorian's heart, and he spread his wings and flew quickly down the mountain.

But he hadn't flown far when he felt the ground begin to shake, and a pungent smell filled the air. Even more troublesome, black smoke was billowing from the crater, a sign that the volcano was about to erupt.

Dorian thought to himself that something was wrong, and without thinking about why he was so unlucky, he just kept flapping his wings and flying forward.

Not long after, he heard a loud roar behind him, and then the surrounding air began to heat up.

Dorian didn't dare look back and continued to fly forward with all his might.

Unfortunately, no matter how strong the female insect's physique was, it could not compare to the power of nature. After a while, Dorian felt an unusually hot wind rushing towards him.

More than ten minutes later, he suddenly felt a sharp pain, and then his whole world turned into darkness.

When he regained consciousness, the first thing Dorian heard was the clear chirping of birds. Then, he smelled the fresh scent of grass and trees. After that, he felt a burning pain all over his body.

Military discipline prevented him from crying out over minor pain, so he simply clenched his fists.

But the pain made it impossible for him to continue sleeping, so he opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was a thatched roof.

Dorian felt strange, wondering where he was. He had only seen this kind of roof in archaeological documentaries, and this was the first time he had ever seen one in real life.

He slowly moved his head and looked around, finding himself lying in a room made of various plants, including the furniture, which was also made of wood and plants.

Dorian tried to sit up to see where he was, but as soon as he moved, he froze in place, his body covered in wounds preventing him from moving.

Just then, a pleasant and gentle voice came from outside.

"You're awake."
