Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 85 Healing Draco

Hearing Kane's explanation, Harry and Hermione were even more confused.

Why is there another professor now?

Kane continued, "Professor Old was also a Watcher. That's why I learned some things from him."

Even after hearing such important information from Kane, the two still wanted to ask more questions.

"Kane, what exactly are you guarding?"

Kane immediately stopped the two wizards.

"I'm telling you this so you won't suspect Professor Snape. As for who's guarding him, I believe you've already asked Hagrid, and he already told you, didn't he? I'm confident you'll find out in the end."

After saying that, Kane ran into the infirmary room.

Harry and Hermione looked at each other outside the door.

We all discovered the three-headed dog together.

Why do you seem to know everything now, while we seem to know nothing?

But now it seems Kane is unwilling to tell them these things either.

At that moment, Kane pushed open the door to the infirmary, and the smell of disinfectant hit him.

Draco lay on the hospital bed by the window, the boy's right arm wrapped in a bandage soaked in white essence.

He felt completely at ease at that moment.

These past few days, that damned "backdoor" label on my head has finally been torn off!

I just think about how worried my mother would be if she knew I was injured.

At this moment, Draco was already imagining how he would go home and boast about how he defeated Harry Potter and obtained the Golden Snitch.

Lucius and Kane must be very proud of themselves!

"Foolish Lansky feint!" Kane approached Draco.

"It's you again, kid?" The bandaged man spoke with a hint of displeasure.

Kane ignored him and stared at Draco, saying, "You'd trade your neck for three seconds of applause? Don't be reckless like a troll, okay?"

Draco's pale cheeks flushed. "I thought I could get rid of it."

Draco was still a little guilty; at first, he only wanted to use Lansky's feint to get rid of Harry.

Unexpectedly, it was I who ended up falling to the ground.

At that moment, Kane picked up his wand and loosened the knot in Draco's bandage.

"Hey, what are you trying to do, kid?"

Kane applied some more medicine to the abrasion.

"What is this? It feels so good." The bandage knot twisted slightly as it asked Kane.

Kane then ripped open Draco's collar and poured a dark green potion onto the bruise on his collarbone.

That was a mixture of white safflower essence and the venom of the eight-eyed giant spider.

It works well, but it hurts a lot.

"If it hurts, bite something. Don't howl like a monstrous little monster."

Draco quickly bit something, but the intense pain forced him to stare at the bandage on his arm.

"Your third-rate diving skills still need some practice. If it were Harry, he probably wouldn't have gotten hurt."

......

Draco was so engrossed in the pain that he didn't hear a thing.

But he still heard the last sentence clearly.

"But you did pretty well this time."

Draco was overjoyed to hear Kane's positive assessment of him, and the pain he had just experienced seemed insignificant.

"That's fine, so you won't have to lie there like a specimen until Christmas."

Snape told Kane that Draco was alright.

However, being unharmed simply means that they won't die.

It just requires lying in bed for half a month or even longer.

Just after Kane finished tidying up, someone else pushed the door open and entered.

The smell of disinfectant in the infirmary was completely overpowered by Pansy Parkinson's dogwood perfume.

Draco had just managed to sit up when he saw six silver and green Quidditch uniforms blocking the edge of his bed.

After greeting Kane, the group turned their attention to the wounded man on the hospital bed.

"Our little hero seems to be alright!"

Captain Flint slammed the snake-patterned broom model onto the bedside table, causing the white medicine bottle to fall to the ground.

"But next time you do a handstand, remember to let me know in advance so Derian can put some cushioning underneath!"

Derian Puse held a smoking silver bottle in his hand.

"Malfoy, this is my specially made stimulant."

His gruff voice sounded like the footsteps of a troll, "with two drops of Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets saliva added—"

Draco sat up instantly, alert: "The special aphrodisiac you mentioned last time made Goyle grow scales."

Draco felt much better after Kane's treatment.

He really doesn't need these things anymore.

Batter Derek squeezed in, clutching a deformed, wandering ball. "Here's a present for you—"

The ball suddenly transformed into a chocolate frog and jumped onto Draco's face.

"Obstacles are numerous!"

Baronie's spell froze the chocolate frog in mid-air.

"Eat it, and you'll be as ferocious as I was last year when I pelted Wood with a walking ball!"

......

Soon, Mrs. Pomfrey returned.

She then sent everyone away, including Kane.

"Now, you should all leave! Let our wounded rest!"

Just after everyone left, she checked Draco's injuries one last time.

The other party's recovery was unexpectedly good!

"What a strange body."

Mrs. Pomfrey sighed.

Draco didn't say anything, because he knew that his rapid recovery was entirely thanks to Kane.

Draco was discharged from the hospital in less than a week.

Mrs. Pomfrey said she even wanted to take Draco to the hospital for a study.

After Draco was discharged from the hospital, the college began collecting lists of students who would stay on campus for the holidays.

Both Draco and Kane are going back.

Harry also harbored a longing for this.

He also wanted to spend Christmas with his parents.

However, he could only sign his name on the list of students staying on campus for the holiday.

After all, he didn't want to go back to Privet Drive for Christmas.

However, he wasn't too sad. After all, for him, not having to see that family would be the best Christmas he'd ever had.

Although Harry lost the Quidditch match, no one blamed him.

Everyone admired Harry for being able to stay on that rampaging broomstick for so long.

However, afterwards, some Gryffindor students suggested to Professor McGonagall that they examine the broom.

However, upon final inspection, the broom was found to be fine.

The matter was thus dropped.

They could only hope to defeat the other academies later on.

Ron is now hanging out with Harry and Hermione again.

Because he shared a dormitory with Harry, Ron could never hide anything Harry did from Harry.

So Ron got entangled with Harry again, and even brought Neville along.

For Harry, Ron always had a lot to talk about.

The other person always manages to tell him some strange and unusual things.

Moreover, Ron also knows about the Cerberus, Nicholas Flamel, Hagrid's dragon breeding, and now they know about it.
