Hogwarts' Golden Glory
Chapter 84 Answering Harry's Questions
In the infirmary, Mrs. Pomfrey was very unhappy.
"I've already said that some safety measures should be added to the flying brooms."
"Every year, several students get injured in Quidditch."
Hermione glanced at Snape beside her, then pulled Harry out of the infirmary.
"What's wrong with Hermione?" Harry asked, puzzled.
"Do you know why your broom went out of control?" Hermione asked seriously.
Why?
"Because Snape is casting a curse on your broom!"
Hermione, who had previously harbored some doubts about Snape, had changed her mind by this morning!
"No wonder! He must have wanted to kill me so Slytherin could win outright, but Draco was still thinking of saving me."
Harry nodded, a hint of melancholy flashing in his eyes.
He had a pretty good relationship with Kane and Draco, but now he didn't know what to do because of this.
"That means this matter only concerns Snape, and not Caitlyn, Draco, or the others!"
Just as the two were having a lively conversation, a voice came from behind them.
"Oh? What is it?"
The cold, icy voice sent chills down their spines.
"It's nothing, Professor."
Harry didn't know if Snape had actually heard these words.
"But I heard you two discussing my name? Don't you know that's disrespectful to a teacher! Five points deducted from Gryffindor!"
Snape didn't actually hear what the two were saying.
Moreover, he didn't care what bad things the two said about him, since he was used to it and his points would definitely be deducted anyway.
"Professor, Harry, Hermione, you're all here."
Kane arrived late.
On the way, Mrs. Hooch invited him to join Quidditch and praised Draco and Harry's skills.
Professor McGonagall, however, was concerned about Lee Jordan's unreliability and decided to invite Kane to continue serving as the guide.
Kane also promised that he would provide commentary whenever it was convenient for him, while Lee Jordan would continue to provide it for the rest of the time.
Seeing the group of people gathered together, Kane was still curious about what they had been through.
Why do Hermione and Harry look like they've been bullied?
"Professor, Kane, we'll be going now."
Harry originally wanted to ask Kane if he knew anything, and to clarify Kane's stance.
But with Snape present, he couldn't ask any further questions.
Kane has not yet responded.
"Draco's alright, I'll be going now."
After saying this, Snape turned and left.
This gave Harry, who had the opportunity, the chance to leave, and after seeing that the other party had completely left, he no longer had the original idea of leaving in a hurry.
"Kane, have you been having some problems lately?"
Kane's eyes widened. "How did you know?"
Upon hearing Kane's reply, Harry thought to himself, "Sure enough, Kane must have encountered a problem to have no choice but to submit to Voldemort."
"Kane, we're friends. If you have any problems, you can tell us. We'll try our best to help you. And if all else fails, there are professors and the principal!"
Harry began to earnestly advise Kane, as he really didn't want his good friend to go down the wrong path.
Kane thought about it seriously for a moment, then replied with a smile, "Well, I'll try to get the principal's help later!"
Upon hearing this, Harry instantly felt that things were looking up.
"Yes, Kane, as long as you're willing to go to Headmaster Dumbledore, sincerely apologize, and explain the whole story, the headmaster will definitely forgive you and help you!"
Kane was stunned for a moment.
What?
Should we demand an apology from him?
Explain yourself.
Forgive me?
Help me?
I'm just having some problems with alchemy and the improved wolfsbane potion, aren't I?
Why does this look like an interrogation of a criminal?
"Harry, are you misunderstanding something?"
Harry continued, "Kane, I know your family must be putting pressure on you, but don't worry, you are you after all, and no matter what, I believe you are a good person."
After hearing Harry give him the "friend zone" treatment, Kane decided to stop him from saying anything more.
"Harry? What are you talking about? I'm just having a little trouble with my studies."
Harry, who had been in high spirits, was instantly stunned. Huh?
Then haven't I been wasting my time talking to a brick wall?
When Hermione heard about the difficulties in her studies, she immediately raised her hand high!
Ask me! Ask me!
It seems inappropriate to discuss these things here, having raised them and then immediately put them down.
Moreover, Kane probably won't do it either.
"Kane, you just saw it! Harry's broom went out of control; Snape was casting a curse on it!"
Hermione noticed Harry's embarrassment and directly stated her purpose.
Kane nodded. "Hermione, you're right. Professor Snape did cast a spell, but he did it to protect Harry."
Upon hearing Kane's words, both of their eyes widened in surprise!
How could Snape possibly protect Harry?
"Kane, are you kidding me?"
Harry clearly didn't believe that Snape, who had always been targeting him, was actually protecting him.
How is that possible?
Seeing that the two were not very convinced, Kane continued to explain: "The one who harmed Harry is actually someone else. You'll know who it is once you notice someone acting strangely."
Kane still didn't intend to say it; if he did, wouldn't he be directly ruining Dumbledore's plans?
I don't want to do something that would offend people.
Hermione, somewhat unconvinced, stepped forward.
"I saw it with my own eyes. I burned the other person's robes, and Harry's broom was fine! Doesn't that prove it's Snape's fault?"
"Oh? Are you sure you didn't happen to run into someone else during this process? Wouldn't that have also lifted the spell on Harry?"
Kane countered with a question to Hermione.
Hermione's face immediately changed color, and she began to stammer as she spoke.
"It seems...it seems like we ran into each other."
She was also a little unsure. If her memory was correct, she had indeed encountered more than one or two people on the road.
"But if it's not Snape, then who could it be?"
Seeing Hermione's defeat, Harry also began to ask questions.
"That's for you to discover."
"Then why was Snape bitten by Fluffy? I even saw you put medicine on Snape! And how did you know that three-headed dog was named Fluffy?"
Seeing this, Harry decided to press the matter further, as he still remembered that Kane had mentioned Lou Williams' name.
"The professor was bitten to prevent anyone from sneaking in during the chaos, and he ended up getting injured!"
"And I know what the dog's name is. It's simple, Professor Old told me."
