Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 78 Harry Finds Snape

"Will he wake up again, Kane?" Harry asked curiously.

"Maybe, but the earliest it can be is tomorrow."

Kane looked at the other person's condition and said.

"Why aren't you all staying in the dorms!"

Professor McGonagall stormed into the bathroom and began to roar! Snape and Quirrell followed closely behind.

But the group was immediately shocked by what they saw.

At this moment, Kane was standing on the troll, studying its skin tissue.

Snape also came over and checked on the troll's condition.

However, when he was walking, one of his legs was very uncomfortable.

"That powerful spell...you did it, didn't you, Mr. Kane?"

"How dare you?"

Professor McGonagall was somewhat angry, and Harry assured him he had never seen her like this before.

Hermione had recovered by then and stepped forward.

She explained that she wanted to challenge the giant monster, and that the people around her had only come to persuade her otherwise.

Although Harry and the others were somewhat surprised that Hermione would lie, they still went along with her and pretended to be indignant.

This surprised Professor McGonagall.

"Miss Granger, Gryffindor has lost five points because of this, and I am very disappointed in you. You should go back now."

Hermione lowered her head and then left.

Professor McGonagall then looked at the group, "As for you, each of you has earned five points for your house. I will tell Professor Dumbledore about this. You may go now."

Snape then walked up to the group and said, "Mr. Potter, you won't always be so lucky. I hope you don't wander off, otherwise—"

To Harry, Snape's words were a blatant threat!

This made Harry very unhappy.

Soon the group left the place and finally could no longer smell the stench from the giant.

"Kane, isn't Snape your godfather? Why does he hate me so much?"

After walking a distance, Harry asked Kane.

Even Draco was somewhat puzzled at this point.

Although his godfather did have a bad temper.

But there's still too much targeting of Harry.

Draco thought for a moment and said:

"It's probably because you're from Gryffindor, you know, he's the head of Slytherin."

Harry nodded; he felt it wasn't just because of that.

"Did you guys notice? His leg looks injured."

Draco shook his head; he hadn't seen it, and he hadn't dared to look up.

Harry didn't say anything more; he could only go back and ask Hermione.

November arrived quickly.

The weather is already very cold. There is frost on the ground every morning.

The sky above Black Lake was hazy and the lake surface was cold and hard.

The pier that was destroyed by fire has been rebuilt.

As for that pile of rocks, it's still there.

By this time, the number of people doing morning exercises had risen to several dozen, and basically all the Quidditch members from Gryffindor and Slytherin were present.

Knowing that Draco practiced every morning, Marcus brought along his Quidditch teammates.

Wood, naturally unwilling to admit defeat, called upon the Quidditch members of Gryffindor.

And because of Draco's promise, there was even a training session in the afternoon.

Just after afternoon training ended, Harry was accompanied by Cho Chang.

Because of this "activity", the two have become friends.

"Harry, are you confident about the upcoming match?"

By this time, it was common knowledge throughout the school that Harry and Draco had joined Quidditch as first-year students.

Some people think Harry will definitely play great, while others say they'll catch him if he falls.

Harry doesn't know if he's confident or not.

"To be honest, I'm worried about letting my friends down."

Harry shook his head.

At that moment, Hermione walked over, holding a book in her hand.

"Kane said you've been particularly worried about your Quidditch matches these days, so I found this book for you in the library."

Harry took the book; the cover had the words "The Wonderful Quidditch" written in gold foil.

"Take a look, it should be of some help to you."

Hermione doesn't really know much about flying brooms and Quidditch.

However, she believed that reading books would help her.

"Thank you, Hermione."

Harry then went to eat, and then he opened the book.

He discovered that the book was much more interesting than he had imagined!

During the Rainstorm of 1473, the Seeker actually froze the Golden Snitch!

No wonder it was a game with over 700 fouls!

He was looking at the contents with a serious expression.

It felt like a figure had blocked out the light around me.

"Mr. Potter?"

Harry knew things were going to turn out badly when he saw Snape.

"What are you holding, Mr. Potter?"

Harry showed it to him: "The Amazing Quidditch."

"Reading is not allowed in the Great Hall, so I confiscated it," Snape said.

Then he picked up the book and limped away from the auditorium.

Hermione, who was standing nearby, witnessed this event.

"Damn, where did this rule come from?"

Harry couldn't help but complain.

Hermione shrugged and said, "I added it myself, probably to target you."

Harry looked at the other person's limping leg and suddenly remembered something.

"Hermione, how did he hurt his leg?"

Hermione shook her head, indicating that she didn't know.

Harry asked excitedly, "Do you remember when the troll broke into the school, his leg was injured?"

Hermione nodded at this point; she had indeed observed it that day.

When Snape came in to observe the troll, he was walking with a limp.

Harry still felt there was something about Snape that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

"But could I go and get that book back?"

Harry didn't think too much about it in the end; he just wanted to finish reading the story in the book.

"If it were me, I wouldn't go."

But Harry still felt that if Kane were there...

Kane will speak up for me, and then I can get that book back.

If I remember correctly, Kane is going to help Snape process potion ingredients tonight.

With that thought in mind, Harry waited for several hours.

It was around the time Kane went to the other party's office to deal with the potion.

Harry took a deep breath; Snape's office was right in front of him.

Harry was about to push the door open, but then he suddenly remembered something.

If Kane weren't inside, I'd definitely get a scolding from him.

So he gently pushed the door open a crack.

I happened to see a scene like that.

At this moment, Snape was sitting on a bench with one leg sticking out.

Then he pulled his robe up to his knees.

His leg was a bloody mess!

Kane stood to the side, holding a bandage in one hand and seemingly applying some kind of magic potion to the leg with the other.
