Hogwarts' Golden Glory
Chapter 7 Combat Competition
In the blink of an eye, with Dobby's crisp snap of his fingers, Kane and his party returned safely to Malfoy Manor.
With a long time before the start of the school term, Kane resumed his daily training—Muggle-world combat training.
It is important to understand that a wizard's strength is entirely determined by their magical power, mental strength, and mastery of spells.
However, during medieval witch hunts, wizards were actually beaten by Muggles and forced to hide!
This is entirely because wizards have no advantage over Muggles in terms of physical strength or numbers. Wizards' over-reliance on wands means that most adult wizards cannot perform magic without one.
Without a wand, most people cannot use the Ironclad Charm, so in a conflict, when they are hit or stabbed, they will die because they do not have time to cast the spell.
Nick, who almost lost his head, is a typical example. Because his wand was taken away when he was captured, he was unable to use magic and was eventually hacked forty-five times with a sharp blade. His head was barely connected to his body by a thin layer of skin and tendons. The gruesome scene would make anyone who heard about it shudder.
Therefore, the weakest point in the development of wizards is their physical body, and Kane has been trying his best to make up for his shortcomings.
"Dobby, come with me." Kane called softly, and then the two disappeared from the manor in an instant. When they reappeared, they were already at the British Fighting Training Center in a bustling area of London, England.
To be honest, although house-elves mostly know some life magic, their magical power is stronger than that of most wizards. For example, at Hogwarts, wizards cannot Apparate, while house-elves can Apparate at will and more efficiently.
Even in the final battle at Hogwarts, the house-elves played a significant role. Under Kreacher's command, with Regulus Black's locket hanging around his neck, the house-elves subdued a large number of ferocious Death Eaters!
Kane landed steadily on the street in the Muggle world. He first skillfully cast the Disillusionment Charm to hide himself from the sight of the Muggles and completely block their prying eyes.
Turning to Dobby beside him, Kane solemnly instructed, "Dobby, come pick me up at the same time as always! Remember to block out the Muggles around us!"
Dobby nodded repeatedly, its eyes shining with determination and loyalty. After Kane finished giving his instructions, it vanished in a flash.
Kane straightened his clothes, took a deep breath, and strode into the British Fighting Training Center. The center was noisy with people, the sound of punches whistling, and the dull thuds of various objects hitting the sandbags and equipment echoing throughout. His eyes were sharp as a hawk's, and with just a quick scan, he accurately locked onto his target—Kronen.
At this moment, Kronin was showing off his strong and muscular upper body. His bronze skin gleamed under the light, and his tight muscles bulged with each punch, the veins standing out like winding snakes.
He focused intently on launching a fierce and relentless attack on the sandbag in front of him. Under his swift and powerful blows, the sandbag shook violently and rattled, as if it might break at any moment.
"Mr. Kronin, I'm here on time."
Kane walked steadily into the combat training gym, his gaze landing directly on the figure vigorously striking the punching bag. He asked, "What new material will you be teaching me today?"
Upon hearing this, Kronin stopped his rapid movements, reached for the handkerchief draped over his shoulder, and casually wiped the sweat rolling down his forehead.
He turned around, his eyes filled with scrutiny and expectation, looking the slightly thin boy up and down.
"You've mastered the first four moves pretty well. Now, here comes the final move." Kronin's voice was deep and powerful, yet clearly audible in the somewhat noisy training hall.
"Kronin? You mean this kid learned the first four moves of your Storm Combo?" A dark-haired man approached unnoticed, his face showing obvious suspicion and surprise. He casually draped his thick arm over Kronin's shoulder, a mocking smile playing on his lips. "Don't try to fool him just because he's a kid."

Kronin's lips curled up slightly, revealing a barely perceptible arc, and he said with a half-smile, "Oh? Is that so?"
He paused, a sly glint in his eyes, "How about this, Mr. Snow, if you don't believe me, why don't you have a match with my disciple and see if he has truly mastered the essence of these moves of mine?"
The man called Snow was taken aback for a moment, then subconsciously scratched his messy black hair before his gaze fell on Kane again.
Looking at the boy in front of him, who only reached his chest, he curled his lip and refused without hesitation: "What a joke! Although I'm no match for you, me competing with him? Isn't that just bullying a child?"
Seemingly feeling that his words weren't convincing enough, he added, "With his small frame, even if he punched me with all his might, I probably wouldn't feel any pain."
"Oh?" Kronin raised an eyebrow, his smile deepening. "Since you're so pessimistic about my disciple, how about we make a bet? If you win, I'll cover your training expenses here; but if you lose, you'll have to pay for my expenses at the gym. How about it?"
Upon hearing this, Snow showed obvious hesitation on his face.
The training facility is quite expensive. Although his income is considerable, this expense still really hurts him.
His gaze darted back and forth between Kronen and Kane, and images of himself sweating profusely on the training field unconsciously surfaced in his mind. Looking at the thin, young boy in front of him, the slight hesitation in his heart instantly vanished.
"Of course!" Snow straightened his back, a confident smile on his face, as if he could already see the ease and satisfaction of winning the bet. "I refuse to believe that if I can't beat you, I can't at least deal with your little apprentice!"
As he spoke, he looked at Kane provocatively, "But does your apprentice dare to compare himself to me?"
"Of course I have no problem!" Kane said without flinching, his eyes shining with determination and confidence as he looked directly at the equally muscular, dark-haired man before him.
"Are you sure?" Snow's eyes widened as he scrutinized Kane again, seemingly trying to find a trace of fear or hesitation on his face. "I can tell you in advance that I won't hold back."
"I'm sure." Kane's tone was resolute, his expression serious and focused, showing no sign of being intimidated by Snow's imposing manner. "And rest assured, I won't hold back either."
Snow was both amused and exasperated by these words.
He considers himself a gifted fighter. Back in middle school, he participated in combat training by chance and was recognized by his coach, thus embarking on this training path.
With his outstanding talent and unremitting efforts, he won the championship of that fighting tournament after only 7.5 years of training, and became quite famous in the fighting world.
Now, looking at this short boy in front of him, who looked even shorter than he had been when he first started training, he was amused and somewhat infuriated that the boy dared to say he wouldn't go easy on him.
In Snow's view, the little boy in front of him could be guessed from his clothes and appearance to be from an extraordinary family. He must have been pampered and spoiled by his elders at home and had never experienced any real setbacks or hardships. He was probably just showing off for the time being.
