Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 29 Auditorium Mail

Happy times are always gone forever.

The class went by very quickly.

The young wizards were still immersed in the lifelike scene they had just witnessed.

Kane had a feeling that Professor Old seemed to be paying special attention to him.

Even our encounter at the library last night seemed like something the other person had done on purpose.

What butterfly effect did my time travel cause?

A wizard who seemed to be a legend suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

It seems that the magical world is much more complex than he imagined!

After class, Draco, accompanied by his henchmen, followed behind Kane.

Draco asked with a puzzled look, "Kane, how do you know that the professor will give me extra points if I apologize?"

Seeing this, Kane realized that the other party had misunderstood him.

He stopped walking, turned around, and looked stern.

"I'm warning you, whatever you do, don't offend that professor, otherwise, I can't guarantee you'll be unharmed."

Kane wasn't saying this without reason; he knew nothing about the other party and might be one of them.

Dumbledore's side is alright, but if it's Voldemort's side, then it's all over.

He simply couldn't understand why Dumbledore would place such a dangerous person at Hogwarts.

Will Dumbledore continue his trials on the main trio?

Kane couldn't help but feel a little worried, after all, it was only the beginning of the school year and everything was still uncertain.

He warned Draco to be careful, as the boy was always restless and might cause trouble.

After all, the one who survives to the end is the real winner.

Seeing Kane's serious expression, Draco shrank back in fear, looked up, and nodded repeatedly.

Seeing that he looked honest and unassuming, Kane felt reassured and went to the first-floor auditorium for a meal.

Because of the delays they experienced on their journey, the auditorium on the first floor was almost full.

Most of the young wizards were chatting with their new friends.

Of course, there are a few exceptions.

"With bright, rabbit-like eyes and a melodious harp, let's turn this clear water into tea!"

A young wizard chanted a spell, and after trying it, he stood up to check if the water had changed color.

After finding no change, he sat back down and continued chanting the mantra.

And so they cast the spell again and again, checking each time.

As expected, something unexpected is about to happen soon.

"BOOM!!!"

An explosion rang out in the auditorium.

Everyone looked toward the source of the sound; the little wizard's once fair face was now covered in dust!

Her hair also became a fluffy afro.

"Hahaha~"

Draco and his group burst into laughter upon seeing this; they had never seen anyone injured by such a curse.

Kane smiled calmly. This "explosives genius" had an exceptional talent for explosives, which might come in handy in the future.

Of course, the most important thing right now is to eat. People need food to live; you'll get hungry if you skip a meal.

Despite using stimulants, he still has a high demand for food.

Looking at Draco eating slowly beside him, Kane felt it was time.

The current tonic has been improved to perfection, and now we can try having Draco use it as well.

After all, as his younger brother, Draco's physical abilities were simply too poor.

Suddenly, owls flew in from the side of the auditorium.

What's striking is a huge box flying through the air.

Because of the box, the little wizard below couldn't see the owl above it at all.

The box moved through the air, heading towards Kane's location.

The box quickly fell and landed behind Kane.

Looking at the owl in the sky, Kane knew that it was something his family had sent him.

But what could possibly require such a large box?

Kane glanced at it; there were still traces of magic on it.

Kane knew in his heart that this must be Dobby's doing.

Otherwise, even if the owl worked itself to death, it wouldn't be able to bring this box over.

The surrounding classmates were also attracted by the big box.

Draco urged Kane to open the box.

Kane was also curious about what the Lucius couple would send him.

Thinking back to the trump card I mentioned yesterday, could it be that they've sent it over?

"The Cave of Alaho"

As the incantation was cast, the lock on the box opened with a click.

Before Kane could even speak, Draco had already eagerly opened the box.

The box was glittering with gold, and it was full of Galleons!

Kane broke out in a cold sweat. What had his parents misunderstood?

Could this be their understanding of their trump card?

What I want is something that can rival a legend, or even surpass a legend in an instant!

It's not this kind of Galleon!

You should know that he has even more Galleons in his storage box than that!

However, the Slytherin students around them were all stunned!

"So many Galleons! Wow, they're so rich!"

"No wonder Professor Old mentioned the Malfoy family today! And even gave Draco extra points; it's probably because the Malfoy family is rich!"

The surrounding classmates looked on with gossip and envy.

Of course, some people expressed disdain.

It's just Galleons, right? He has plenty at home. Although it's impossible for him to give him that many, he instantly felt a bit annoyed by Kane's arrogant behavior.

A first-grader acting so arrogantly!

They even overshadowed him. It seems I need to teach this kid a lesson and show him what it means to prioritize strength!

Draco looked at the pile of Galleons before him, a surge of pride and desire welling up inside him.

"My allowance seems insignificant compared to this!"

"I absolutely have to ask my brother for 50 Galleons later! No! 100! He definitely won't say anything if I give him 100!"

Meanwhile, the young wizards in Gryffindor were completely stunned.

With so many Galleons, their whole family couldn't spend them all in several years!

This should just be pocket money for the Malfoy brothers, right?

Most of the wizards in Gryffindor are not nobles, and although their families are not bad, they are not particularly well-off either.

Ron looked at the gleaming box, then at his worn-out secondhand robe.

I feel really bad!

"Why! Why does one of you Malfoys get such good conditions?!"

"You wicked Malfoys, you earned your Galleons through dishonest means!"

"Who knows how many heinous things they've done behind the scenes!"

Ron's inferiority complex, jealousy, and resentment rose rapidly in his heart!

He just didn't show it; he buried it deep in his heart.

Even Harry, who was standing next to him, didn't seem to notice the change in his good friend.

After all, you can't see into someone's heart; no one knows what the other person is really thinking.

Harry felt a pang of envy for Kane at that moment.

But it's not that I envy the other person for being rich, after all, my parents left me a vault full of Galleons.

What he envied was something else entirely—something he could never have in his lifetime.

Kane noticed that the thing was rather conspicuous, and then immediately turned it off.

After closing and locking the box again.

"Shrink quickly"

The once enormous box has been reduced to the size of a palm.

Kane had almost finished eating and headed straight for his dormitory with his suitcase.

He knew better than to flaunt his wealth.

Unfortunately, he was still targeted.

At the Gryffindor table, a pair of twins exchanged a knowing smile, clearly understanding each other's thoughts!
