Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 190 Tom, the Vengeful One

Kane's reaction to seeing the diary was a playful smile playing on his lips.

He deliberately drew an exaggerated funny face on the page with a quill pen, and then wrote:

"So you don't know the Dark Lord? Well then, I'll have to tell you all about him!"

The diary was overjoyed to see these things.

"Sure, thank you for telling me all this!"

"This Dark Lord is actually called Voldemort!"

The diary instantly recognized the name.

"Sure, that's a pretty cool name."

Kane directly refuted the other party.

"Handsome? You're mistaken! This Voldemort! He's actually a snake-faced monster with no nose or eyebrows. Isn't he an ugly freak?"

The diary was stunned.

Is my own main soul really that ugly?

But in order not to arouse Kane's suspicion, he still wrote on the blank page.

"Wow! From your description, the other person is really ugly!"

Kane nearly choked on his laughter.

Then he continued writing with the quill pen.

"And another thing, this guy keeps yelling about 'pure blood is supreme,' but he's actually half-blood himself. It's hilarious."

The pages of the diary suddenly wrinkled, and the ink smeared out in a large patch, as if it were trembling with anger.

Several seconds passed before a single line of text finally appeared:

"That does sound...not very bright. But you just said he got beaten by a boy?"

Kane crossed his legs and deliberately wrote the words in a crooked and distorted manner:

"Yeah, Harry Potter, he was just a baby back then! Voldemort tried to kill him with his wand, but the spell bounced back and blew him to smithereens!"

The pages of the diary suddenly became scalding hot, and the ink began to tremble:

"That's impossible! No one can deflect a death curse! Especially not an infant!"

But he soon realized something was wrong.

"Didn't you say you didn't know how these opposing spells were reflected?"

"Yes, I only said it was bounced back, I didn't say how it bounced back!"

Tom Riddle is now being driven mad by the sheer volume of information he's receiving.

Kane pretended not to notice the other person's lapse in composure and continued writing:

"What's even funnier is that he's now like a parasite clinging to the back of someone's head, without even a body. If you ask me—"

He paused deliberately and drew a simple cartoon: a bald, snake-faced little man lying on the back of Professor Quirrell's head, with the caption "The most miserable Dark Lord in history" next to him.

The diary suddenly shook violently, nearly causing Kane to jump off his lap. Ink seeped out wildly:

"Did you read these ridiculous stories in storybooks?!"

Kane feigned surprise:

"Wow, this clearly happened last year, why don't you believe me?"

The ink froze for a moment, then the writing became unusually cautious:

"It's just...it just feels a bit too unexpected."

Seeing that Kane did not react,

The ink slowly surfaced in the diary, and the handwriting suddenly became unusually gentle:

"After all this talk, I still don't know your name. Can you tell me?"

Tom Riddle was extremely angry in his diary!

Once I'm resurrected, I'm definitely going to teach this kid a lesson!

Kane raised an eyebrow.

Since the other party has no idea who I am, it's perfectly fine for me to tell a lie!

A wicked smile crept across his lips, and with a flourish of his pen:

"My name is Neville Longbottom, a second-year Gryffindor student! My grandma always says I'm the least promising one in the family~"

Igor covered his beak with his wing, trying hard not to laugh and spit out sparks.

The diary seemed to have firmly "remembered" this information, the ink seeping deeply into the pages:

"Neville Longbottom...what an interesting name. I hope I'll have the chance to...exchange magic with him in person someday."

The handwriting is elegant and appropriate.

But Kane clearly saw that the ink on the last word was particularly deep, as if it had been written through gritted teeth.

Meanwhile, on a sunny beach in the Mediterranean.

Neville Longbottom, who was building a sandcastle, suddenly sneezed three times in a row.

"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!"

"Honey, do you have a cold?"

Mrs. Longbottom touched her grandson's forehead with concern.

Neville rubbed his nose, looking into the distance with a puzzled expression: "Strange... I suddenly feel a chill down my back..."

His parents, Frank and Alice Longbottom, were walking hand in hand on the beach.

After being healed by Kane, their physical condition has recovered to its best.

So I decided to take Neville out for a trip while he was on vacation.

Alice suddenly stopped and said thoughtfully, "I don't know why, but I suddenly felt like sending a box of homemade cookies to some Malfoy kid."

Frank gently embraced his wife: "Then I'll send it, darling. But remember not to put your special 'surprise' filling in..."

"After all, they cured us. Isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

"Then put in less."

"good..."

Seagulls cried in the distance, and the family's laughter was drowned out by the sound of the waves.

Unaware of the Horcrux of a certain Dark Lord who held a grudge.

He has already marked "Neville Longbottom" with ten big red crosses in his revenge notebook.

Kane twirled the quill pen, still seemingly unsatisfied.

He was about to continue his "Black Demon King Rant Session" when he discovered that the ink on the diary remained unresponsive.

He poked at the page:

"Hey, Tom? Are you still there?"

The page was blank, and even the ink had lost its luster.

Igor curiously leaned closer and gently pecked at the edge of the diary with his beak.

The diary still didn't respond.

Kane observed for a moment and found that the other person's soul was in a resting state.

Kane thought to himself.

"Is it because he couldn't absorb my life force and consumed too much of his soul power, causing him to weaken?"

"Looks like our little Dark Lord..." Kane chuckled, "is out of power."

He tried writing a few more sentences, but the diary was like an ordinary notebook, unresponsive.

Kane pursed his lips and closed his diary: "Boring."

He casually tossed his diary onto the bedside table, where it landed right on top of a pile of clippings from The Daily Prophet.

One of them is Gilderoy Lockhart's latest Google Ad: "How to defeat dark magic with a smile!"

Ig pushed the diary aside with a paw in disgust.

As a result, Kane's ink bottle was accidentally knocked over.

Dark purple ink splattered on the cover of the diary, blurring the name "TM Riddle".

"Well done." Kane lazily waved his wand to clean up the mess.

But he deliberately omitted the ink stains on the diary, saying, "Let's add some ink to Lord Dark Lord's belly."

He stretched and turned to walk towards the bathroom.

At three in the morning, as Kane fell into a deep sleep, the diary on the bedside table trembled slightly.
