Hogwarts' Golden Glory

Chapter 173 Holiday

Professor Trelawney suddenly looked up from her wine glass.

Through his thick glasses, his misty eyes gazed at the Slytherin table.

"Silver and green intertwined... snake eyes awaken in the shadows... I see... yes, I see..."

She suddenly grabbed the wine glass in front of her, her fingers almost clenching it tightly.

"When the old order collapses, a new throne will rise from the darkness. Not by violence... no... but by cold wisdom... spreading like winter frost..."

Her voice grew softer and softer, until it was almost a whisper:

"He will stand at the pinnacle of everyone...not as a conqueror...but as...the inevitable choice..."

After saying that, she suddenly shivered.

His gaze became unfocused again, as if nothing had happened.

The Slytherin members are now immersed in joy.

The Gryffindor students now feel empty inside.

This series of changes was like a rollercoaster ride, full of ups and downs.

Harry felt a little regretful at that moment.

Looking up at the professors' bench, Snape saw him grinning and shaking hands with an embarrassed Professor McGonagall.

If I hadn't lost so many points before, I might still have had a chance.

At that moment, Chahasebe and Harry locked eyes.

Seeing Harry annotating himself.

The previously beaming smile instantly transformed into a cold expression.

Harry knew that Snape would still want to target him, just like always.

They might even escalate their actions, after all, the other party has saved them many times already.

Perhaps now she only feels hatred towards her father.

However, Harry wasn't worried about Snape targeting him, since he shouldn't be in any danger next semester.

After the banquet, the exam results began to be released gradually.

As expected, Kane came in first place in the entire grade.

This really upset Hermione.

Although she came in second, she was determined to surpass her opponent next semester because she was unwilling to give up!

Harry's grades were also good; he passed the exams with high scores in almost every subject.

Unfortunately, almost every Draco was a little taller than Harry.

This made Draco extremely happy, and he boasted about his score to everyone he met.

Neville's herbalism score was excellent, greatly making up for the points he lost in potions.

Even Goyle, Draco's dumbest sidekick, passed every single one of the tests without incident.

This really upset Ron, because his grades were even worse than Gore's!

His report card was even publicized by George and Fred.

Even the other day when he was showing off his younger brother Percy, he was too ashamed to go out in public.

When the scarlet steam locomotive, puffing out white steam, came to a stop at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.

The final farce of the school year is unfolding.

"Make way! The worst report card in Hogwarts history has arrived!"

George Weasley amplified his voice tenfold with his wand.

He was pushing a luggage cart and driving recklessly on the platform.

Ron, his face flushed, sat in the car.

"Stop! You two—" Ron's scream was drowned out by the noise on the platform.

Harry and Hermione struggled through the crowd, dragging their luggage.

Harry could hear suspicious rattling sounds coming from Hermione's trunk.

Hermione brought a total of thirty-seven summer study guides, which she called the "Summer Surpassing Plan"!

Kane and Draco stepped gracefully off the train.

Because a large group of people suddenly entering and exiting through a solid wall would certainly attract the attention of Muggles.

So it took them a long time to get off the platform.

Harry dragged his suitcase, the scar on his forehead throbbing with sweat.

He saw the Dursleys standing at the platform exit.

Aunt Penny's long, thin neck kept turning like a startled flamingo.

Uncle Vernon's beard twitched with his heavy breathing.

"Listen, Ron, Hermione," Harry brushed his sweat-dampened bangs back, "you have to write to me during the summer holidays, okay?"

Because Sirius Black still needs to help Lupin with his mission, Harry will need to stay at his aunt's house for a while longer.

Fortunately, the other party promised to write to him.

Otherwise, Harry would go crazy.

"I'll definitely write it, and I hope you can come to my house for a visit then," Ron muttered, his eyes still red.

He was just thrown off his luggage by the two of them.

"I've prepared a summer reading plan for you," Hermione whispered.

Then he pulled out an absurdly long roll of parchment from his robe.

"Importance is indicated by numbers, starting with 'The Theory of Spells'—"

Harry nodded. He couldn't use magic, but he could still read books.

A commotion suddenly broke out at the other end of the platform.

Kane Malfoy was walking calmly toward the exit.

Draco followed behind him, strutting around like a peacock spreading its tail feathers.

"Why didn't Father come to pick us up?" Draco looked around but couldn't find him.

Just then, a booming voice rang out: "The Longbottom family has finally produced a herbalism genius! Your parents have been waiting for you at home for ages!"

Neville's grandmother was patting her grandson's back hard, making the boy stumble.

She noticed Kane's gaze, smiled, and nodded. "How's the Malfoy boy doing lately? Would you like to come visit sometime?"

Kane gave a graceful bow: "Thank you for your concern, Madam. I will certainly visit when I have the chance."

"Harry!" Aunt Petunia's shrill voice suddenly pierced the air.

"Come here! Don't stand with those—those people!"

Her purplish-red lips were contorted.

His gaze revealed obvious disgust when it swept over the people around Harry.

Uncle Vernon's face was already red: "Hurry up, kid! Don't make me say it twice!"

He pointed his stubby fingers at Kane and Draco, "They're obviously not from good families, dressed like actors—"

The air suddenly froze.

Even Harry knew that his uncle was going to get into trouble.

Dobby suddenly appeared out of nowhere!

His tennis ball-sized eyes bulged with rage. "Don't you dare insult Master Malfoy!"

He screamed, his small body trembling with excitement.

"W-what is that?"

Uncle Vernon staggered backward, nearly knocking over a suitcase.

Dobby snapped his fingers.

"Bang!"

Uncle Vernon's tie suddenly turned into a living grass snake.

It hissed as it climbed up his thick chin.

Aunt Penny screamed as her meticulously styled hair stood on end as if grabbed by an invisible hand.

Dudley watched in horror as his shoelaces turned into two small snakes.

She twisted and scurried into his trouser leg.

"Dobby!" Kane shouted.

The house-elf immediately drooped its ears: "Dobby was wrong, Dobby shouldn't have—"

"Well done. Let's go back."

Kane lowered his voice, a barely perceptible smile curving his lips.
