After the meeting, Zhang Wen immediately got to work. Looking at the economic report for the first half of the year, Zhang Wen had a headache. Sha Ruijin had been here for half a year and all he did was conduct research. He hadn't dealt with many of the provincial tasks. The economic data was really not good.

Zhang Wen rubbed his temples, intending to analyze the problem carefully, when there was a sudden knock on the office door.

"Come in," Zhang Wen called out. The secretary entered. "Governor Zhang, Secretary Sha wants you to go to his office." Zhang Wen's heart tightened; he put down the report in his hand and got up to go.

Upon arriving at Sha Ruijin's office, Sha Ruijin greeted him with a smile and invited him to sit down. "Comrade Zhang Wen, I have been conducting research at the grassroots level for the past six months, which may have caused some delays in my work in the province."

"But I've also noticed quite a few problems, and we need to work together to find solutions." Zhang Wen nodded slightly. "Secretary Sha, I've also been looking at the first half-year economic report, and there are indeed many areas that urgently need improvement."

Those companies that have stopped investing may themselves have intricate connections to corruption. We cannot condone or tolerate corruption simply because we fear its impact on the economy.

Zhang Wen took a deep breath and said, "Secretary Sha, you're right. I hadn't considered everything comprehensively before. However, it's not wrong for him to focus on economic development; the two are not irreconcilable.
