Underworld: Starting with conquering countless lustful beauties
Chapter 90 Battle
"Brother Qiang! Something's happened! Something really bad!"
Mad Dog Qiang's face darkened, and he shoved the woman next to him aside and stood up.
"What's the panic? Even if the sky falls, I'll hold it up! Tell me, what is it?"
"Fatty...Fatty's leg's broken!" the thug gasped, "Old Li brought a bunch of guys from the battlefield, twenty or thirty of them, all trained fighters, we can't beat them!"
"What?!"
Mad Dog Qiang's eyes widened instantly like copper bells, and he kicked over the coffee table in front of him, shattering the wine bottles all over the floor.
Fatty! That's his right-hand man, his old brother who's been with him for over ten years!
"Who did this?!"
"It's...it's a young man surnamed Chen! I heard from the people over there that his name is something like...Chen Feng!"
Chen Feng?
Mad Dog Qiang paused for a second, then suddenly remembered something. That hothead who crippled Zhao Qiang? That newcomer who's been causing trouble in the South District lately? He crippled my cousin before, and if Jiang Hong hadn't asked someone to help me kill him, I wouldn't have settled the score with him yet, and now he dares to come and steal my territory.
"Heh...hehe...hahahaha!"
Mad Dog Qiang suddenly threw his head back and burst into laughter. His laughter was manic and sinister, sending chills down the spines of everyone present.
"Great! Great! Chen Feng, right? I was just looking for you, and you've delivered yourself right to my doorstep!"
He grabbed the phone from the table and dialed a number.
"Hey, Ironhead! You fucking listen up, call every single one of the convoy who can fight! And tell Snake Eyes to bring all our trump cards!"
"Brother Qiang, what happened?" Tie Tou's puzzled voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Some fool dares to try and steal my territory!" Mad Dog Qiang's voice was as cold as a venomous snake. "Tonight, I'll show him who's the boss in South City!"
After hanging up the phone, Mad Dog pushed open the door to the private room and strode out.
"Get moving, all of you! Tonight, I'm going to slaughter everyone on the battlefield!"
Forty minutes later.
The roar of an engine came from the mountain road, growing louder as it approached.
"They're here!"
Da Zhuang, who was guarding the door, gripped the steel pipe tightly, and his brothers behind him also stood up nervously.
Chen Feng stood at the second-floor window, looking down at the mountain road.
Seven or eight vans and a dozen or so motorcycles came in a long procession, their headlights forming a winding ribbon of light that was particularly dazzling in the night.
The convoy stopped at the entrance of the sand field, and a large group of people jumped out of the vehicles. A rough count showed at least forty or fifty people.
In the center of the crowd, a burly, middle-aged man with a menacing face strode forward. He wore an open black leather jacket over a tight white vest, revealing his tattooed chest. In his right hand, he carried a machete that was at least two feet long, its blade gleaming eerily in the moonlight.
Mad Dog Qiang.
"Chen Feng!"
His roar echoed through the valley, deafening like thunder.
"Get the hell out here! If I don't cripple you tonight, I'll change my surname to yours!"
The forty or fifty men behind him also started shouting, brandishing sticks, flashing knives, and acting menacingly.
Silence fell over the battlefield.
Mad Dog Qiang frowned, about to shout again, when he suddenly saw a small light appear in the second-floor window.
It's a cigarette.
Between the flickering light of the cigarette butt, Chen Feng's face appeared and disappeared in the darkness.
"Brother Qiang, long time no see!"
Chen Feng's voice came down from above, unhurried and even a little teasing.
"You idiot, do you think we're that close?" Mad Dog laughed arrogantly. "You think you can take my territory with your twenty-odd men?"
Chen Feng exhaled a smoke ring. "Then you come on."
He pointed downwards: "There's only one path leading to the entrance; I'll take as many as come."
Mad Dog Qiang followed his finger and his expression immediately changed.
The entrance to the sand pit was completely blocked by two huge bulldozers. In front of the bulldozers were two walls of sandbags, each about half a person high. A dozen men in black, carrying steel pipes and machetes, hid behind the sandbags, watching menacingly.
Even worse, the battlefield was pitch black, with only the searchlights at the main entrance shining. The blinding white light shone directly on Mad Dog Qiang and his men, making it impossible for them to see what was happening inside.
But they themselves are like actors on a stage, exposed under the spotlight with nowhere to hide.
Mad Dog Qiang was a seasoned veteran; he saw the problem at a glance.
This kid's got some skills.
He took two steps back, and using the bread cart as cover, beckoned two of his trusted men over.
One of them was Iron Head, in his early thirties, with a shaved head and a neck as thick as a bucket—he looked like a ruthless character. He was one of Mad Dog Qiang's "Four Great Vajras," never risking his life in fights. He had served three years in prison before, and after his release, he became even more ruthless.
The other was Snake Eyes, a tall, thin man with a gloomy face. His narrow eyes gleamed eerily in the darkness, as cold and sinister as a venomous snake. He was taciturn but meticulous, serving as Mad Dog Qiang's strategist and henchman.
"Brother Qiang, this terrain is disadvantageous for us." Snake Eyes lowered his voice, his gaze sweeping across the layout of the battlefield. "There's only one entrance at the front, and they've blocked it with bulldozers and sandbags. A direct assault would result in too many casualties."
"I know!" Mad Dog gritted his teeth. "Enough nonsense, think of a way!"
Snake Eyes paused for a moment, then pointed towards the east side of the battlefield: "Brother Qiang, look, that wall isn't high, maybe two meters at most. There's a grove of trees and a pile of rocks nearby; you can use those as cover to go around it."
Mad Dog squinted and looked over. Sure enough, he saw a low wall on the east side of the battlefield. Outside, weeds grew and rocks were scattered, which was just right for hiding people.
"Alright!" Mad Dog slapped his thigh. "Iron Head, you take twenty brothers and charge in from the front! Don't rush in. Hold them off at the entrance and draw their fire!"
"Alright!" Tie Tou grinned, revealing a mouthful of yellow teeth. "Don't worry, Brother Qiang, with me here, those bastards won't have a peaceful time!"
Mad Dog Qiang then turned to Snake Eyes: "Snake Eyes, you take a few men and sneak in from the side. Once Iron Head has drawn their attention, you climb over the wall and give me a center attack!"
Snake Eyes nodded coldly, beckoned to several agile subordinates, and they silently made their way to the woods to the east.
Mad Dog Qiang watched as the two groups of people took their positions, and the ferocious smile on his face grew deeper and deeper.
He suddenly raised the machete in his hand, pointed it in the direction of the battlefield, and roared at the top of his lungs:
"Listen up, brothers! Tonight, whoever kills Chen Feng gets a 100,000 yuan reward! Cash!"
"Whoosh—"
The surrounding area immediately erupted in chaos.
One hundred thousand yuan! For these thugs who live on the edge, this is a huge sum of money! Enough for them to live a life of luxury for several years!
In an instant, everyone's eyes turned red, and they looked at the battlefield like hungry wolves eyeing fat sheep.
"Brother Qiang is awesome!"
"Kill him!"
"That 100,000 yuan is mine!"
Mad Dog Qiang looked at his enraged subordinates with satisfaction, then waved his hand and shouted, "Get them!"
With a roar, Tie Tou led more than twenty men toward the gate of the battlefield.
Meanwhile, on the second floor of the sand field.
Chen Feng stood at the window, taking in everything below.
He immediately gave the order: "Monkey, have a few brothers block the other side of the wall. They're trying to climb over it."
"Okay!" The monkey led his five brothers toward the backyard.
"They're here! Hold on!" Da Zhuang roared.
The sound of steel pipes colliding with machetes instantly echoed through the night sky.
