"Huh?" Bai Yeying was taken aback. "But this is your Hun Tian Ling, such an important magic weapon..."

"Just wear it," Nezha interrupted her, his tone somewhat impatient. "You're so nagging."

Bai Yeying was taken aback by his retort, and awkwardly withdrew her hand, muttering under her breath, "So what if you're wearing it? Why are you being so fierce?"

Nezha pretended not to hear and instead asked, "Has anyone come to cause you trouble these past few days?"

"Trouble? No, not at all." Bai Yeying shook her head, somewhat puzzled. "Xiankong Mountain is quite peaceful. Huang Wu and the others didn't find anything unusual during their patrol."

"Hmm," Nezha responded, saying nothing more. He walked to a rock by the waterfall and sat down, gazing at the cascading water curtain, his profile somewhat blurred in the twilight.

"I need to go to Beiju Luzhou in a few days."

Bai Yeying was taken aback: "Beiju Luzhou? What for? Is it far?"

She walked to his side and sat down on the rock as he did, the mist dampening her temples.

"Yuan, I have some things to take care of."

He didn't say what it was about, and Bai Yeying didn't press him for details. She rested her chin on her hand, watching the water droplets splashing from the waterfall refract the setting sun into tiny sparkles.

"Will it take a long time?"

"Not necessarily. It depends on how things go." Nezha turned to look at her, the twilight casting a soft shadow on his eyelashes. "Want to go?"

"Me?" Bai Yeying's eyes widened as she pointed at herself. "Can I go?"

Nezha was amused by her reaction and a slight smile appeared on his lips: "What, scared?"

"Who's afraid!" Bai Yeying retorted immediately, then hesitated, "But... if I go with you, won't it cause you trouble? After all, you're going to take care of important business."

"Cause trouble?" Nezha chuckled. "Haven't you caused enough trouble already?"

Bai Yeying felt embarrassed by his words and was about to retort when he continued, "Beiju Luzhou is a vast and sparsely populated land, teeming with demons, and quite interesting. If you want to go, you can come and see for yourself." He spoke casually, but his gaze remained fixed on her face, as if waiting for her answer.

Bai Yeying realized that Nezha was genuinely inviting her. Although he made it sound like it was just a casual invitation, she knew that given Nezha's personality, he wouldn't say a word more than necessary unless he was truly willing.

"I want to go!" she agreed almost immediately, her almond-shaped eyes shining brightly. "I want to go! When do we leave? I'll go pack my things right now!"

She was about to get up when Nezha reached out and pressed her shoulder down.

"What's the rush?" The warmth of the boy's palm seeped through the fabric, causing Bai Yeying to pause. "I'll pick you up at Chenshi (7-9 AM) tomorrow."

"Okay!" Bai Yeying nodded vigorously, unable to suppress the smile on her lips.

Seeing her excited expression, Nezha's phoenix eyes gleamed with amusement. He withdrew his hand and stood up: "Then it's settled. Get a good rest tonight. Beiju Luzhou is much harsher than Xiniu Hezhou."

"Hmm!" Bai Yeying also stood up. "So what do I need to prepare? Dry food? Water? Or..."

"Just bring your gun and your brain," Nezha interrupted her, his tone returning to its usual sternness. "Don't let some little demons chase you around; I won't save you every time."

"I won't!" Bai Yeying puffed out her cheeks defiantly. "I'm really good now!"

Nezha raised an eyebrow, said nothing more, and his Wind Fire Wheels spun with flames beneath his feet.

"I'm gone."

"Wait!" Bai Yeying called out to him, took a small cloth bag from her sleeve and handed it to him, "This is for you."

Nezha paused, looking down at the cloth bag: "What?"

"I dried these myself," Bai Yeying said a little embarrassedly. "I'll take these with me and eat them on the way."

Nezha stared at the cloth bag for a moment, then reached out and took it. His fingers touched her palm briefly before separating.

"Meddlesome." He uttered those two words and turned to fly away.

After watching Bai Yeying leave, she turned and ran back to her cave, her steps so light they seemed to be flying.

"Cuiluo! Cuiluo!"

Cuiluo, who was tending the herb garden, rushed over upon hearing the noise: "Madam, what's wrong?"

"Help me pack my bags! I'm going on a long trip. I don't need much, keep it simple, but bring my gun, and... bring those healing pills I made last time too."

Cuiluo was taken aback: "Where is Madam going? When will she be back?"

"I'm going to Beiju Luzhou! My return date is uncertain."

As Bai Yeying walked towards her quiet room, she said, "While I'm gone, you and Huang Wu will be in charge of things in the mountains. Patrol carefully, and if anything happens..."

She paused, remembering the Hun Tian Ling left behind by Nezha, and touched the red string on her wrist, suddenly feeling much more at ease.

"What's the matter? We'll talk about it when I get back."

Although Cuiluo was worried, seeing the lady's resolute expression, she knew she couldn't dissuade her, so she could only agree: "Yes, this little demon will go and prepare immediately. Please take care, Madam."

At dawn on the second day, familiar fluctuations of spiritual energy emanated from outside the cave.

Bai Yeying had already tidied herself up and quickly walked out of the cave.

In the morning light, Nezha hovered in mid-air. Today he was dressed in a smart outfit, and his silver armor and wrist guards gleamed in the morning light.

"Let's go." He reached out his hand to her.

Without hesitation, Bai Yeying leaped onto the cloud and stood steadily beside him.

Nezha withdrew his hand and headed straight north. Bai Yeying gripped Nezha's sleeve, feeling both nervous and excited.

"Third Prince, what exactly is Beiju Luzhou like?" she couldn't help but ask.

"Desolate, cold, and teeming with monsters," Nezha said succinctly, "but there are also many ancient tribes and rare treasures."

Have you been there many times?

"several times."

"So what are you going there for this time? Can you tell me?"

Nezha was silent for a moment before saying, "I need to find something."

"What is it?"

You'll know when you get there.

Bai Yeying wisely stopped asking questions. She turned her head to look at the boy's profile and suddenly felt that it was wonderful to be able to travel far away with him like this.

The Wind and Fire Wheels were extremely fast, and in just a short while, the surrounding scenery had changed drastically.

The lush green hills and clear waters of Xiniu Hezhou gradually disappeared, replaced by a vast wilderness, exposed rocks, and sparse vegetation. The temperature dropped noticeably, and the wind carried a biting chill.

"We're almost there." Nezha's voice carried on the wind. "The land of Beiju Luzhou is just ahead. Hold on tight."

Bai Yeying quickly grabbed his arm. The next second, the Wind and Fire Wheels accelerated sharply and flew downwards.

As far as the eye can see, there is an endless plain, with the outline of snow-capped mountains in the distance.

The spiritual energy here is different from that of Xiniu Hezhou; it is more violent and has a wild, untamed feel.

Bai Yeying murmured, "This place is so different."

"Stay close to me." Nezha's voice was more serious. "There are no rules in Beiju Luzhou; strength is everything. Don't wander off, understand?"

Bai Yeying nodded and followed beside Nezha, curiously looking around at the land.

They had ventured no more than a hundred miles when a strange sight suddenly appeared on the horizon ahead.

The sky, which should have been hazy, was now shrouded in a constantly shifting halo. In the distance, near a stone mountain, many figures gathered indistinctly, their demonic aura swirling, yet they all lingered several miles away, merely observing from afar, none daring to approach the center of the stone mountain easily.

The rocky mountain wasn't particularly high, but its shape was peculiar, as if it had been cleaved open by some immense force, leaving a bottomless crevice. The shifting halo of light emanated from the depths of that crevice.

"It seems this is the place." Nezha stopped and looked at the strange phenomenon, his phoenix eyes narrowing slightly.
