My partner at Hogwarts is Tom
Chapter 35 is a decent potion, a bonus for Gryffindor.
The next day.
Sitting in the slightly chilly Potions classroom, Harley was chatting casually with Ron.
As Ron recounted Victor's legendary tales from Hufflepuff, Harley couldn't help but feel a longing for them.
Hermione, meanwhile, was engrossed in reading a thick book.
He would occasionally correct the exaggerated fallacies in Ron's statements.
This prompted Ron to occasionally retort and argue with Hermione.
However, every time Ron tried to refute Hermione, she was rendered speechless by Hermione's clear and logical arguments, which were presented point by point from the book.
Listening to the discussion between her two friends beside her, Harley couldn't help but drift off into her own thoughts.
Perhaps, as Tom, the teaching assistant, said, girls are really likable.
In just one day, she had already sensed the change in the attitudes of everyone around her, whether professors or students.
For example, there's Malfoy across the street, bragging to his two little followers about his family's kinship with Professor Victor.
When we met in the hallway after breakfast this morning, she glared at Malfoy, just like she always had.
But she and Ron had been gone for quite some time before they heard Malfoy's sleazy voice again.
She turned around and saw Malfoy standing there, looking conflicted and lost in thought.
What shocked her the most was Snape's change in attitude towards her.
She reluctantly made her way to Snape's office last night, only arriving slowly when solitary confinement began.
She had prepared herself for Snape to spray her with venom.
However, she waited at the door for quite a while but did not hear Snape's sarcastic voice in her ear.
And what she was confined to that night was not the disgusting work she had imagined—stripping the filth off the caterpillars or dissecting toads to remove their internal organs.
It was perfectly normal, but something Snape had never done before: handling fresh moongrass as a potion-making ingredient.
Even when she was dealing with potions, Snape would occasionally tell her the correct way to do it.
Although Snape's tone remained as indifferent as ever during the explanation, and occasionally laced with sarcasm.
However, Harley could clearly sense that the targeting and inexplicable hostility that Snape used to express in his words had all disappeared.
Even Harley didn't know why, but she seemed to hear a faint sense of guilt in Snape's earnest explanation.
In short, under the guidance of Snape, who had become someone Harley didn't recognize.
After just one night of confinement, Harley felt that she might actually be starting to get interested in Potions class.
She watched as Snape intently studied the test tube of potions that Assistant Tom had brought out.
She truly sensed the unique allure of potions that Snape spoke of from his earnest eyes and expression.
I listened to Ron recount what he had already told in his dorm room the night before.
Harley couldn't help but think of the scene her brother described in his letter, in which Professor Victor and Assistant Tom teamed up to defeat a dragon in the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary.
"Researching potions actually seems quite interesting. If Snape hadn't targeted me today, I might have given it a serious try?"
"Quiet!"
Just as Ron was gesticulating wildly and getting to the climax of his story...
With a whistling sound, Snape's figure, resembling a giant bat, entered the classroom.
And the moment Snape's voice rang out.
The entire classroom fell into an eerie silence, so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
Even when Ron was talking about the climax, he immediately shut his mouth, his face turning red, and he lowered his head, not daring to look at Snape's dark face.
Standing on the podium, Snape's gaze swept across the classroom.
When the gaze fell on Harley, she trembled.
Then straighten your back and try to sit as upright as possible to look more energetic.
However, the expected exclamation of "Why isn't Harley Potter cheering? Gryffindor loses two points!" did not materialize.
That sharp, gloomy gaze lingered on her for only a moment before landing on Ron, who was standing next to her with his face flushed red.
"It seems our Mr. Weasley enjoys telling stories. Two points deducted from Gryffindor for your loud noise in the classroom!"
Upon hearing Snape's words, Ron's face turned even redder.
Harley figured he was probably just angry.
Once again, Gryffindor's two points reminded the young wizards of the fear of being dominated by Professor Snape.
Snape then immediately began today's lesson.
"A holiday should be enough to completely empty your monstrous brains."
"Now watch me brew a pot of scabies medicine. If anyone fails to brew it later, hmph."
All I heard was Snape's two hums.
The Gryffindors involuntarily shuddered.
Even some of the young Slytherin wizards were the same.
They had no doubt that Snape might force-feed them the pot of poison they had ruined.
In an instant, all the young wizards, including Harley, perked up.
I watched intently as Snape demonstrated the simplest scabies medicine on the podium.
And watching Snape's elegant and fluid movements on the podium.
Perhaps it was because of Snape's earnest guidance last night, or perhaps it was because I was in a good mood since I wasn't being targeted.
Before she knew it, Harley was completely absorbed in the book, and her breathing became lighter.
He watched intently as Snape processed the potions.
He then compared these techniques with the ones Snape had explained to him the previous night.
Harley watched as Snape removed the potion from the fire.
Then put the two porcupine quills into the potion.
Pick up your wand and stir the potion clockwise five times.
Finally, with a graceful wave of her wand, Harley unconsciously let out a long sigh of relief.
He glanced at the pink smoke rising from the potion pot in front of Snape.
Harley then looked at the materials in front of her.
Suddenly, Harley had a strange feeling that brewing potions might not be so difficult after all. Probably.
While thinking this to herself, Harley did the same as the other young wizards.
At Snape's command, the production of scabies medicine began.
With that in mind, Harley picked up a knife and began processing the potion ingredients.
Without realizing it, Harley began to imitate Snape making potions.
A pink cloud of smoke rose up in front of Harley and Ron.
Harley was stunned as she looked at the blue potion in the cauldron in front of her, which was as clear and bright as the sky.
Is this really the potion that Ron and I brewed together?
While Harley and Ron were staring blankly at the potion...
A somber, calm voice sounded behind her.
"A pretty good potion, Gryffindor +10."
Upon hearing this, the only sound in the entire potions classroom instantly became the boiling cauldron.
Everyone stared in disbelief at Harley and Ron, who were frozen in place.
And Snape, standing behind them, watching the pot of potions in front of her.
In that instant, everyone could see the shock in each other's eyes.
Oh my god!
What did they hear?
Is the world about to end?
Snape actually gave Gryffindor extra points!!!
