Chu Cige suddenly had a good idea: if the slingshot beast were to learn the witchcraft "Flying Head Slash," it would surely be twice as effective!

After all, this thing is born with the ability to fly off the head, and it can quickly master the skill without any special training. It is simply a natural talent.

"Rina, have you ever studied this kind of creature?" Chu Cige asked, watching Rina carefully preserve the slingshot beast's head, preparing to take it back for research.

"Of course there's been research! I've even looked at the clan's records!" Reina gestured towards the slingshot beast's body while thinking about how to bring it back.

"So you're still interested in this thing?" he asked, pointing to the head hanging from her waist.

"The information is just information, but I didn't witness it firsthand. I want to take this back and compare it with the information in the documents to see if they match."

Chu Cige was completely bewildered upon hearing this. What was the point of doing this? Wasn't it a waste of time to study something that had already been researched by predecessors?

Seeing that he still had doubts, Reina continued, "Integrating the information in the data and then verifying it step by step with the experimental subjects will help my other research projects. You wouldn't understand these things even if I explained them to you, so please go away and don't bother me."

There was no point in trying to reason with someone who knew nothing, so Reina decided to ignore him.

Like her mother, Reina studies biology, but her mother's research focuses on cross-species genetic propagation.

Reina's own research focuses on the genetic optimization of the Predator race itself, or rather, by studying other superior races throughout the galaxy and integrating their superior genes into the Predator race to create a new generation of Predators.

Actually, there's not much difference between the two. It's just that Rena wants to accomplish this task through gene serums or modifications, while Lisa wants to pass on the superior genes of various species through generations of interspecies reproduction.

Of course, Lisa is a more capable researcher than Rena. She is also very knowledgeable in genetic engineering, otherwise there wouldn't be so many white-skinned Predators and various races that can mate with the Alien Queen.

Although this may just be something she does in her spare time, or a hobby.

Seeing this, Chu Cige had no choice but to deal with the nearly dried blood of the peacock deer on the ground. This was their food for the evening; although the paralyzing toxins from the slingshot beast still lingered in its body, it could be eaten after a little processing.

As a carnivore, Chu Cige is someone who can't live without meat, and with his current iron-blooded body, he needs meat even more to maintain his strength.

"Master! The Thunder Beast you asked me to monitor is approaching this way. It's about three kilometers away and it's rushing here at full speed. It should arrive in two and a half minutes."

Alice's cold voice suddenly rang in his ears, interrupting Chu Cige's actions of disposing of the corpse.

"Heh! I didn't even go looking for you, but you came to me of your own accord."

He had the two-person aircraft that had been following him slowly land, placed the peacock deer carcass and the slingshot beast's body in their designated compartment, and then had Reina pilot the aircraft, ready for action.

He wanted to test the strength of this top predator on Pandora and see if he could successfully hunt it down solo.

"Be careful." Reina wasn't too worried about Chu Cige's safety, even though the attackers were real monsters from Pandora.

If Chu Cige wanted to, he could simply blast the Thunder Beast into a bloody mist with his shoulder cannon upon seeing its silhouette, but that would mean missing out on the thrill of the hunt. That was something he didn't want to see.

Chu Cige said nonchalantly, "Don't worry, I've already taken down the Alien Queen, what's there to be afraid of with this Lightning Beast? It came at just the right time; I was just worried about not finding suitable prey!"

It wasn't that he looked down on the Lightning Beast; with its armor alone, that beast couldn't break through its defenses. The Ironblood Clan's cutting-edge technology was simply too monstrous, a devastating blow to beasts and primitive humans.

Seeing his confidence, Reina didn't say much, and flew the aircraft to the top of the rainforest, keeping a close eye on the movements below.

coming!

Below, Chu Cige, alerted by "Alice," instantly locked onto a giant beast emerging from the jungle. It was nearly six meters tall and about eleven meters long, its jet-black skin gleaming in the sunlight, as if it were wearing a shiny leather coat.

Just as described in the information, this Thunder Beast lived up to its reputation as a top predator. After it appeared here, the entire rainforest fell into an eerie silence.

It seemed that all the creatures knew that a top predator had arrived in this jungle, so they dared not make a sound, and might even have already left the area.

Chu Cige's eyes were full of admiration. This lightning beast was simply a fighting machine born for slaughter. Like most creatures in Pandora, it had six legs, four in the front and two in the back.

Hmm? Chu Cige suddenly realized a blind spot. It seems that the creatures of Pandora all have four front legs and two hind legs, which are suitable for running in complex rainforest and mountain environments.

The Thunder Beast in the distance also spotted Chu Cige. It had come here following the scent of blood in the air, but it hadn't expected to find such a tiny creature, not even enough to fill its teeth.

However, even a mosquito's leg is meat, so it lowered its body and slowly approached its prey, observing its strength.

"Is this how they treat me as prey?" Chu Cige twisted the elder's spear, with trident-like spearheads extending from both ends. Chu Cige had some experience dealing with such large prey.

"roar!"

Suddenly, the Thunder Beast roared, its slender body like a black phantom. With a few leaps, it arrived in front of Chu Cige, opened its big mouth, and bit at him.

Wow, so fast!!!

Was that charade just pretending?

Chu Cige admitted that he had underestimated the Thunder Beast. He never expected that this thing could run so fast in the rainforest.

A gaping maw full of fangs was almost within reach, and the stench in the air swirled fallen leaves, making it seem as if that maw was about to succeed.

The Chu Ci singer held his spear upright in front of him, pressing it firmly against the upper and lower jaws of the Thunder Beast.

Damn it!!!

In just an instant, the immense force knocked Chu Cige to the ground. If it weren't for the strange sight before him, he would have thought he had encountered a bulldozer.

This thing's size is definitely not for nothing; it doesn't have an ounce of extra muscle, truly a monster.

Chu Cige struggled to hold on, only to feel his hands begin to go numb. This was the first time he had ever experienced such an overwhelming feeling.

The Thunder Beast's head rubbed against him on the ground, and if Chu Cige hadn't been wearing nano armor, he would have been seriously injured by those two blows alone.

The Thunder Beast seemed to realize that this wouldn't work, or perhaps it had gotten tired of playing with it, so it arched its head upwards against Chu Cige's body.

"Bang—!"

Chu Ci Ge was like a tattered sack, his body was flung away violently, and he only stopped after hitting a tree trunk.

Before he could get up, the light in front of him was blocked, and the familiar feeling returned.

"Snap—!"

The Thunder Beast grabbed his lower body, trying to split him in two, but no matter how hard it tried, apart from the sound of its teeth straining under the weight, the black nano-armor remained unchanged.

The sharp canines snapped shut, but left no mark whatsoever. Chu Cige didn't even feel anything, and "Alice" didn't remind him that there were any broken parts in his armor, which shows how powerful his equipment was.

The Thunder Beast raised its head and shook it from side to side, just like a husky that had received a new and exciting toy...
