Tiger, I rejected the iron rice bowl.

Chapter 6 The Tiger Has Become a Spirit

"No." Ye Long pointed towards the kitchen. "There's enough meat in the kitchen for it to eat for half a day. Besides, I just saw that the park security team's sightseeing vehicle has arrived at the entrance. It will be led away soon."

As he spoke, he pulled his phone out of his pocket. The screen displayed a message that had popped up in the work group: "The security team has arrived outside the cafeteria and is preparing to administer anesthesia. Everyone stay where you are and don't move!"

He held up his phone for everyone to see, a relieved smile on his face: "Look, the rescue team has arrived. Now listen to me, everyone find a place to sit, don't talk, and don't move around."

Looking at the message on their phone screens and then at Ye Long's determined eyes, everyone's panicked hearts gradually calmed down.

The little girl in the pink coat was held in her mother's arms, peeking out the door through her fingers. The fear in her eyes had lessened, replaced by curiosity.

That tiger that everyone feared seemed to have really just come to "freeload".

In the kitchen, Wang Yuyu had already picked up a piece of raw pork rib and was eating it with great relish.

He would occasionally look up to listen to the sounds outside. The sightseeing bus engine had stopped, and he could hear human footsteps, hushed conversations, and the soft clanging of metal.

"Finally here," he muttered to himself, chewing the bone in his mouth and picking up a piece of tenderloin.

This time, he won't be sent back to the mountains so easily.

Outside the cafeteria, Tang Li jumped out of the car, holding a handful of beef jerky, her heart pounding in her chest.

Wang Jianjun led his security team, hiding in a corner, with the muzzles of their tranquilizer guns pointed towards the kitchen. Following a tactical formation, they crept into the canteen.

The wind and snow were still blowing, and the sound of a tiger chewing came from the kitchen, clearly audible to everyone.

In the kitchen, Wang Yuyu's ears were perked up like radar, the tips of the black hairs trembling slightly in the airflow, taking in the faint footsteps, the rustling of clothes, and even the soft clanging of metal parts outside the canteen.

But his mouth didn't slow down at all; his sharp tiger teeth tore open the tender pork belly, and the meat juice mixed with oil dripped down the corners of his mouth.

Chewed bone fragments leaked from between his teeth, which he impatiently brushed aside with his paws.

When the scents of Wang Jianjun and the others wafted through the canteen door and into the kitchen, Wang Yuyu finally stopped chewing.

He slowly licked the bits of meat from the corner of his mouth, a knowing glint in his amber eyes. His massive body rose slowly against the wall without making a sound.

He moved to the kitchen entrance, sticking out only his tiger head, which was bigger than an adult's head, and accurately locked onto Wang Jianjun and his group who were crouching and sneaking in.

The moment their eyes met, time seemed to freeze.

Wang Jianjun's hand had just touched the trigger when he abruptly stopped, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

The security guards behind him also froze in place, their tranquilizer gun muzzles instinctively rising half an inch.

The tiger in front of us was incredibly composed, only showing half its head and hiding behind the wall, thus avoiding all shooting angles.

Given the Siberian tiger's reaction speed, the moment they pull the trigger, the tiger will most likely pounce, leaving them no chance to dodge.

"Don't move! Don't fire!"

Wang Jianjun's voice was extremely low, his throat was tight, and every word seemed to be squeezed out from between his teeth.

His original plan was to ambush the tiger while it was engrossed in eating, but now, let alone ambush, he would be lucky to escape unscathed.

He stared intently into Wang Yuyu's cold eyes, slowly raising his hand in a "reassuring" gesture, "Retreat, retreat! Remember, never turn your back on it!"

The security team members are used to dealing with wild animals, so there's no need for further instructions.

The two security guards closest to the entrance were the first to move. With their knees slightly bent and their bodies taut, they retreated steadily step by step, their eyes never leaving the tiger head.

Everyone held their breath in unison, and the only sounds in the canteen were their retreating footsteps and the occasional soft licking of Wang Yuyu's paws in the kitchen.

Wang Yu watched them leave the cafeteria quietly, his tail swishing lightly across the ground, like a general scrutinizing his subordinates.

Only after the security team disappeared outside the door did he turn his head, his gaze instantly locking onto that familiar figure outside the cafeteria.

Tang Li was standing in the snow holding something, and the faint scent of beef jerky wafted in with the wind and snow.

He suddenly remembered the whole piece of beef frozen in the kitchen freezer, and the red sausage hanging high up out of his reach.

With its eyes darting around, Wang Yu slowly raised its right forepaw, its thick pads opening and its five sharp claws gently closing. Then, it beckoned towards Tang Li.

The gesture was so precise it was unbelievable; it was exactly the human gesture of "come here."

"Holy shit!" Someone in the security team outside the cafeteria couldn't help but curse out loud.

Everyone is stupid.

Wang Jianjun's walkie-talkie fell to the snow with a "thud" without him noticing, his eyes wide open as he stared intently at the tiger's clawing motion.

Inside the sightseeing bus, Wang Weiguo was about to urge the driver when a scene on the surveillance camera startled him so much that he jumped up from his seat, rubbed his eyes hard, pinched his thigh, and winced in pain: "This... this is something a tiger could do? It's a spirit! It's definitely a spirit!"

Tang Li froze on the spot, almost dropping the beef jerky in her hand.

She looked at the tiger's paws, then at herself, and tentatively pointed to her chest, her mouth slightly open: "You...are you calling me?"

Wang Yuyu immediately nodded her large tiger head, her amber eyes seeming to hold a hint of urgency. She then raised her paw and beckoned, even wagging her tail twice, as if urging her to hurry up.

"Little Tang! Don't go over there!"

Wang Jianjun finally reacted, rushing forward to grab Tang Li's arm. His voice trembled as he cried, "It's an animal! Who knows what it's up to? If you go over there and it pounces, we won't have time to save you!"

"No, it won't." Tang Li gently pulled her arm away, her eyes unusually firm. "Uncle Wang, look at the iron rice bowl's eyes, there's no fierce look in them."

"If it wanted to hurt someone, it wouldn't have only shown half its head, nor would it have gestured to me. It had something to tell me."

Seeing that Tang Li refused to move, Wang Yuyu grew impatient, suddenly raised his head, and roared at the sky, "Roar!"

The roar wasn't fierce; instead, it carried a hint of urging. After roaring, he immediately lowered his head and beckoned to Tang Li with his claws.

"Look, it's really getting anxious."

Tang Li turned to look at Wang Jianjun, her tone pleading, "It's blocking the cafeteria right now, we definitely can't force it."

"I've tried communicating with it before, and maybe I can get it to cooperate."

"If I don't go, it might get impatient and rush out, putting the tourists inside in danger!"
