My clone invades all realms

Chapter 41 begins the fourth assessment.

Roya descended the last step, reaching the bottom of the trap tower.

Hisoka was sitting casually on the steps when he saw Roya appear, and he raised his arm and waved.

"Wow, looks like you solved it quickly too."

Roya ignored him and walked straight past Hisoka.

Ahead lay the exit of the trap tower. The massive stone door was tightly shut, and in the empty ground floor hall, there were only the two of them.

"Click-clack".

A sound of joints twisting rang out.

Disguised as Illumi, who was disguised as Jitaraku, he came down the stairs from the other side.

Illumi waved to Hisoka and Roya as a greeting, then found a corner and stood still.

Time began to pass.

One after another, candidates walked down from different entrances.

Most of them were injured, dressed in rags, and looked exhausted.

However, a few people, such as the one named Hanzo, seemed quite relaxed, although their breathing was somewhat unstable.

Luo Ya leaned against the wall, closed his eyes, and let his consciousness sink into the depths of his mind.

A silent meeting was taking place in his mind.

[Main Body: The awakening of my Nen ability went more smoothly than expected, and the stability of my energy is sufficient to support me in creating another clone.]

[Waitress 1: Then hurry! I've had enough of this woman, I don't want to be a waitress for another second! We have to kill that woman as soon as possible!]

Waiter 2: I agree. If we keep pretending, we'll be exposed sooner or later.

[Our current strength, even if we manage to kill Ronosya, is absolutely insufficient to escape from the Holy Land of Mary Geoise. There are far too many monsters there.]

[Demon Slayer: The situation is different now. We have the foundation to fight back. We've mastered 'Ten,' which has greatly increased our physical defense. At least we can hold our own against some people who have only a basic grasp of Armament Haki.]

[Waiter 5: It's alright if we only have a basic understanding of the situation, but once we encounter an opponent at the level of a lieutenant general from headquarters, we won't even have a chance to escape.]

[Waiter 1: To leave, a ship is necessary, but the best way is to gain the ability to fly; only the sky is the safest route.]

[Original Body: I'm currently synchronizing your memories and feelings every day, and I'm nearing my mental limit. Opening a new world will make it much harder to perfectly conceal it.]

[Waitress 3: If we decide to open up a new world, it means our escape plan must begin immediately.]

[Waitress 1: That woman, Ronosya, will definitely not let us off the hook.]

[Hunter World: Our top priority now is to increase our strength. We're no longer just small fry. As long as we can escape successfully, even if we hide in some remote place, the World Government might not be able to find us easily.]

[Original Body: In the Hunter x Hunter world, you must quickly master the five fundamental techniques of Nen: Release, Training, Concentration, and Firmness. After that, I will open a new world, hoping that it will bring us the power we need.]

Roya opened his eyes.

The people in the hall had mostly arrived.

On the stone wall above the entrance, an ancient digital clock displays a countdown.

There was only one minute left.

Everyone was on edge.

"Da da".

A series of light footsteps echoed in the passageway, drawing everyone's attention.

Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika emerged from the entrance looking somewhat disheveled but in good spirits.

Xiao Jie had that unique smile on his face.

The countdown numbers have reached zero.

The heavy stone walls emitted a dull rumble, and the exit gate that had been blocking everyone was rising upwards.

Luo Ya straightened up and walked out with the flow of people.

Under the intense sunlight, Roya subconsciously squinted.

Not far ahead, a man wearing glasses and a gray suit was standing there waiting for them.

The third test has ended, and the examiners for the fourth test are already in place.

"Congratulations everyone, you have successfully passed the Trap Tower."

The man pushed up his glasses, his voice carrying a hint of rudeness.

"Next up is the fourth test, and then the final test."

As soon as the man finished speaking, he snapped his fingers.

Several Hunter Association staff members pushed a small cart covered with a black cloth to the examiners.

"The fourth test will be held on the distant island of Jiebei'er, but before you go ashore, you will need to draw your own numbers."

The examiner lifted the black cloth, revealing a lottery box.

"Now, in the order in which you exited the trap tower, come forward one by one to draw a number."

The first one is Hisoka.

He strolled forward leisurely, reached into the box, casually picked up a number tag, looked at it without much thought, and returned to the crowd.

The second one is Roya.

Luo Ya walked to the box, reached inside, touched a cold metal plate, and took it out.

A thick piece of paper was pasted on the front of the number plate, covering the numbers underneath.

Luo Ya took the number plate and returned to his original position.

Then came Illumi, Hanzo...

Soon, everyone received their number plates.

"Alright, everyone, you can peel off the stickers now," the examiner announced.

Luo Ya used her fingernail to pry open a corner of the sticker and peel it off.

The numbers below are revealed.

Luo Ya's expression instantly darkened.

301 number.

That's Illumi's number plate.

Without a doubt, this is one of the worst.

The examiner's voice rang out again.

"The numbers on your number plates are the 'prey' for this assessment."

He began to explain the rules in detail.

Each person carries their own number plate, which is worth three cents.

Each person needs to hunt a target, and its number plate is worth three points.

For any other non-target candidates, their number plate is worth only one point.

"To pass the fourth assessment, each of you needs to score a total of six points. There are no restrictions on rank or outcome. Good luck!"

The candidates present had a variety of expressions; some were solemn, some were excited, and most felt immense pressure.

The group boarded the ship bound for the island in silence.

A staff member on the boat gave them a brief introduction to the island and distributed maps.

"The third test has concluded, with twenty-eight participants passing."

When Luo Ya heard the number, his brow twitched. The number was much larger than the plot he remembered.

It seems that my butterfly wings have indeed changed quite a few things without me even realizing it.

Despite the absence of the rookie killer Dongba, the number of successful applicants actually increased by five.

Luo Ya sat in the corner of the cabin, his gaze sweeping over everyone present.

He didn't remember the faces of the candidates in the original work very clearly; he could only recognize a few key figures.

A figure approached.

"You look terrible. Did you pick me?" Hisoka's voice rang in my ears.

Roya turned his head, not looking at Hisoka, but instead saw Gon casting an undisguised gaze at him from the other side.

"Don't you know who you are targeting?" Roya's voice was calm.

That gaze was too direct, too pure; Xiao Jie had been completely exposed.

"Shh—" Hisoka put his index finger to his lips, making a shushing gesture: "Don't say things like that out loud, or the game won't be fun."

Hisoka seemed to enjoy the process of nurturing this unripe fruit.

"In that case..." Hisoka's gaze swept between Roa and the disguised Illumi, a look of interest on his face.

He probably guessed what was going on with Roya.

"Please don't die, or I'll be very disappointed."

"Hmph." Roya let out a cold snort and closed his eyes.
