In the dimly lit stairwell, the thick darkness was pierced by the white light of a flashlight.

Caesar raised his head and gazed at the azure sky.

In the sky, fluffy white clouds drifted like cotton candy on a blue canvas.

However, a black stain suddenly appeared on that azure blue.

The stain is getting bigger and bigger.

Caesar knew perfectly well that it wasn't a stain; it was a helicopter.

The helicopter was very noisy, instantly attracting the attention of countless zombies.

The zombies on the street were the most restless. They couldn't wait to get directly under the helicopter and follow it, chasing after it and even stepping on the bodies of their own kind to move forward.

Caesar and his men entered the alley, where Daryl's warriors greeted him respectfully.

Caesar responded.

Daryl closed the barbed wire fence and came back.

"What are you doing here?" Daryl asked.

According to the initially assigned directions, Caesar and his group were heading in a completely different direction from Daryl.

Caesar pointed to the sky. "Didn't you see that? That helicopter."

Daryl suddenly realized, "Why were you chasing after the helicopter?"

"A camp with helicopters is definitely not one we can mess with."

Caesar understood Daryl's meaning: it would be unwise to provoke a force that was clearly no weaker than himself for the sake of a helicopter.

Moreover, the fact that they have helicopters and can fly them indicates that the other side has military personnel and has inherited some of the military's resources.

Being able to inherit the army's resources—just thinking about it makes you realize how powerful they are.

Caesar shook his head. "I'm craving their aviation kerosene, but I'm not one to seek death."

"Is verifying this important?" Daryl frowned.
