Chapter 33 Mother and Son Reunited

"Damn it, could this be...?"

Thor's heart sank. When he saw the red figure clearly, he jumped off the rock without saying a word and ran wildly down into the dense forest.

A loud roar suddenly exploded behind him, its intimidating power causing the scales on his body to stand up uncontrollably.

"My dear child, why do you run away when you see your mother?"

A gust of wind came from behind him, and a huge red shadow suddenly fell from the sky, smashing through a large number of tree branches and landing squarely in front of Thor.

This was a red dragon over fifty feet long, with a body as thick as an iron tower, claws and teeth that were ferocious and sharp, and eyes as red as burning charcoal that were fixed on Thor—who was none other than the mother of this body.

Thor slowly stopped, facing Chiriel, feeling no joy at their reunion. The scales on his brow trembled slightly, and a strange sense of foreboding crept over him.

He observed the other party discreetly, and when his gaze fell on the orc with its thick claws, his heart sank to the bottom.

True dragons have always had amazing memories; they can remember the exact location of every single gold coin in their treasures.

He recognized this orc; it was clearly one of the orcs that had attacked him before.

With his mind racing, Thor forced a smile and spoke.

"So it's the great Mother who has come. It's been a long time. How have you been?"

When I saw you leave and never come back, I thought you had abandoned us.

Chiriel's gaze swept over Thor from head to toe, a hint of amazement flickering in her eyes.

If I remember correctly, her adopted son has been hatched from the egg for less than two years, yet he has already grown to this size. He truly deserves to be a descendant who inherited her excellent bloodline. She was indeed born to become the Red Dragon Queen.

After hearing Thor's words, Chiriel burst into loud laughter, spewing out thick smoke with sparks from her nostrils and mouth, filling the surrounding air with a pungent sulfur smell.

"What nonsense are you talking about? How could I abandon my own child?"

I was just out hunting before, but when I came back, you were all gone. I searched for you for a long time.

Now that you've found her, come with me! You're still just a fledgling dragon; how can you leave your mother's protection?"

Even with his ass, Thor could smell the lies in those words, but the question was, did he have any choice but to refuse?

Circumstances dictate that for Red Dragon, there is only one outcome if he refuses.

He could only suppress his anger and nod.

"These orcs were sent by that blue dragon called Stormfang, and now they've fallen into the hands of my cheap mother... That damned old woman, is she planning to sell me off?"

Or has she already sided with those blue cowards, wanting to learn from them and use her offspring as free slaves?

"That wretched old man! He's utterly disgraced the Red Dragon!"

Thor roared inwardly, but remained outwardly calm, and even began to plot against Sistana and Calp.

If we're going to die, we'll die together. They've all been captured, so how can they escape unscathed? Even if it means going to hell, they'll keep these two most important sources of essence firmly by their side.

"Dear Mother, Sistana and Culp are with me too, they'll be back soon. Should we take them with us?"

Chiriel's crimson pupils flashed, and the battle on the wilderness intensified, with various tribes beginning to unite.

She had previously suffered from fighting alone, nearly falling into a centaur trap and being surrounded and annihilated by their army.

So after recovering from her injuries, her first thought was to seek refuge with the Blue Dragon Clan of Blackrock Fortress, currently the most powerful dragon force in the wilderness.

He even thought that once he came of age and was strong enough, he might be able to turn the tables and take over the entire group of blue dragons, along with their followers.

For Kalendak, who aspires to conquer the entire wilderness, a young red dragon is a considerable asset, capable of further expanding his territory.

Having entered his prime, his challenge level was as high as nineteen, far stronger than ordinary blue dragons of the same age. Naturally, he didn't need to worry about a red dragon that was still in its youth threatening him, and he accepted Chiriel with peace of mind.

When Chiriel actually joined Blackrock Fortress, she discovered that things were far more complicated than she had imagined.

Kalendak's minions include not only blue dragons, but also green, black, and white dragons.

These dragons were all ambitious and had the same plans as her. They also had a large number of followers, making her the weakest among them, as she was all alone.

How could the proud red dragon tolerate this?

However, it is not easy to recruit capable followers. First, you need to have your own territory. Secondly, powerful followers have better options and can directly pledge allegiance to the Blue Dragon leader.

Those who are weak can't play a significant role, and she doesn't have the patience to train them from scratch.

It wasn't until one day, when she saw the five-colored dragon cubs adopted by the Blue Dragon Clan, that she suddenly remembered her own three abandoned cubs.

A red dragon can enter adolescence in about thirty years and reach a challenge level of ten.

In addition, the dragon's powerful physique, innate breath weapon, and magic resistance will increase the challenge level by one or two levels, making it an absolute backbone force in any faction.

So Chiriel couldn't wait to return to her former lair and searched along the way. She accidentally discovered an orc fleeing in terror and finally found Thor.

……

Even if Thor didn't say anything, Chiriel would still go looking for the other two cubs. The Dragon Mother always had a strange feeling about the eggs she laid and the dragons that hatched from them.

Since the two little ones would come back on their own, she was too lazy to move. She grabbed the orc's forepaw and squeezed hard. With a crisp "crack" sound, the orc was instantly crushed into a pulp.

As the first rays of dawn were about to illuminate the mountaintop, two red figures finally emerged from the tall grass at the foot of the mountain.

Chiriel immediately glanced at Thor, her gaping mouth revealing sharp fangs, the danger unmistakable.

Then it spread its wings and flew with a whoosh toward Sistana and Kalp in the distance.

The two baby dragons reacted exactly like Thor when they saw their mother.

They immediately turned their heads, frantically moved their limbs, and ran away.

Even Thor couldn't escape, so how could Sistana and Culp possibly get away? In just a moment, they obediently flew back on their own.

Chiliel glanced at her eldest daughter and second son, then at her eldest son; the nearly double difference in height was particularly striking.

"Damn it! My noble bloodline is only manifested in the boss."

The remaining two are both useless; their bloodline must have been tainted by that lowly old bastard!
