Zombie Marvel? Luckily, I'm Superman!

Chapter 19 Peter Parker Acts Without Authorization?

By afternoon, a simple shuttle platform had been erected.

The warning system has been red all day, and the situation is getting worse all over the world.

Everyone stood on the platform, while Lin Yi and Tony were adjusting the equipment below the stage.

"Tony, be careful when you enter the quantum realm again..." This was the second time Lin Yi had reminded him.

The two talked for an afternoon, and Lin Yi couldn't help but suspect that the current situation was also related to the familiar person he had encountered in the quantum field.

Did he deliberately destroy his own time navigation device to delay his return? Could he have stopped these dark purple patterns if he had returned back then?

Lin Yi couldn't understand it, but he couldn't go back to the past to confirm it. Because the outcome was already set in stone, changing the past could only lead to the creation of parallel universes, not alter the future that had already occurred.

At least for now, Lin Yi doesn't have the ability to forcibly reshape the timeline to make the past influence the future.

Tony also examined the icosahedron in front of Lin Yi. As Lin Yi expected, it was impossible to analyze, and even the technology Tony currently possessed was insufficient to brute-force dismantle it.

Lin Yi was not disappointed; even his super vision couldn't see through the surface of this thing.

In a somber atmosphere, the group disappeared from the shuttle platform amidst the hum of the machinery, embarking once again on their adventure.

No one noticed that in the instant he disappeared, Tony nodded slightly toward a corner.

2012, Niu Yue.

The Chitauri invasion is still ongoing, the air thick with the acrid smell of dust and gunpowder, and explosions and screams echo from all directions.

On the rooftop of the Temple of the Ancient One, just as she watched Banner disappear with the Time Stone, before she could even feel nervous or worried, a strange phenomenon reappeared before her eyes.

The aura of the Time Stone hadn't completely dissipated before it reformed. Two figures wearing nanosuits appeared before them.

The costumes were removed, revealing Lin Yi and Strange.

"Master, something's happened!" Strange said as soon as he arrived.

Gu Yi stood with his hands behind his back, expressionless, then let out a soft sigh, his expression turning slightly helpless.

"I can see that now, otherwise they wouldn't have needed to go together to return a gem..."

Yes, when the Ancient One was demonstrating the timeline to Banner, she already knew what the scene would look like if it succeeded.

Steve would have returned the gem alone. But now... something's clearly gone wrong.

And it was Strange who came, someone who shouldn't have been there, appearing at the wrong time and in the wrong way.

Oh right, it also includes a young person who leaves no trace in the timeline whatsoever.

I have a vague feeling that something huge is going to happen in the future. Headache, mental exhaustion...

"This is not the place to talk, gentlemen... please come with me." Helpless, the Ancient One made a few hand gestures, casually conjured a magic circle and threw it out.

The magic circle landed on the rooftop and rapidly expanded, forming a semi-circular protective shield before becoming transparent.

The three entered the temple and sat down facing each other.

The Ancient One poured hot tea for the two of them. Without much small talk, she simply listened quietly as Strange recounted everything from the future: the mutated Thanos, the Infinity Stones, and the black and purple markings.

Lin Yi, meanwhile, sipped his hot tea and curiously observed the Ancient One, who had left the cinematic universe early on.

Strange's story was nearing its end when, seemingly noticing Lin Yi's gaze, Gu Yi turned and met his eyes, giving him a slight nod.

"The aura of the Dark Dimension can completely shield the influence of the six Infinity Stones..." The Ancient One withdrew her gaze, repeating it in a low voice, her heart slowly sinking.

Strange, his mouth dry, picked up his teacup to moisten it before summarizing: "Never in my vision of the future through the Time Stone on Titan has I seen anything like this."

"There is no such person..." Strange said, looking at Lin Yi.

Ancient One lowered her head in thought, understanding Strange's meaning. She looked at Lin Yi again: "Do you suspect that this young man changed the future? Or... that the future is related to him?"

Lin Yi quickly put down his teacup: "Don't try to shift the blame, I don't think so..."

Meeting the Ancient One's gaze, Lin Yi remained completely calm. He didn't know if the mysterious Ancient One from Marvel could discern his origins, but even if she did, it wouldn't matter. After all, Deadpool's uniqueness was undeniable, and the Marvel Universe had seen its share of outsiders before.

If you're so capable, then send me back!

Strange also shook his head in denial, having already emphasized Lin Yi's strength and invisibility.

"He is a variable, but I don't think he's related to any bad things to come."

"I consulted all the books in Kamar-Taj and found this..." Strange took out the previous single page.

"This document records a similar situation, but the information is too limited. I'd like to ask the Master if he knows what this is, or if there's any solution?"

Gu Yi gave Lin Yi a deep look before speaking in a heavy tone, "When Banner came, I said that this behavior was extremely dangerous..."

Strange's heart skipped a beat: "Sorcerer, are you saying all of this is related to time travel?"

Gu Yi remained noncommittal, instead picking up the Time Stone that the two had returned from the table.

"I might know what this is, but I need some time to confirm it." As she spoke, the Ancient One changed the magic circle with her hands, and the Infinity Stone floated in her palms. The Ancient One then floated up cross-legged.

"Remember not to disturb me. Also, it seems you have some friends who have brought new information..." The Ancient One cast a meaningful glance at the wooden door of the temple rooftop, then closed his eyes, and green energy enveloped him.

Lin Yi was puzzled by this. Friend? New information?

Could it be Tony?

Both of them turned their gazes toward the wooden door.

dong dong dong~

A knock sounded at the door, and Strange slightly moved his shoulder, the magic cloak reluctantly turning to open it.

A clumsy figure rushed in, shouting and yelling.

"OMG, I never noticed when I was a kid that these Zeta Swiss soldiers were so ugly!"

"I wonder if my battle suit can withstand the laser beam..."

"Peter?" Strange exclaimed, and Lin Yi's eye twitched.

Indeed, Peter Parker, yet another person who shouldn't be there has appeared at the wrong time...

Peter scratched his head and awkwardly greeted, "Hi, Mr. Lin Yi, Mr. Strange..."

"Peter, what are you doing here!" Strange's eyes, filled with confusion, seriousness, and anger, came to his senses.

Who made him do this? Was it Tony, or did he act on his own initiative?

Peter has dark purple markings on his body. His unauthorized entry into another timeline raises questions about whether these markings will infect this parallel universe; Tony couldn't possibly be unaware of this. Furthermore, considering Tony's past attitude towards Peter, it's unlikely he would allow Peter to travel through time alone.

Therefore, the most likely explanation is that Peter acted on his own.
