Upon hearing Tony mention the illogical request of an alien race seeking refuge on Earth, Lin Yi immediately thought of someone.

Earlier, Carol advocated allocating some space isolation equipment and manpower to save other affected races in the universe.

They were rejected by everyone at the time. Earth was not yet completely stable and was a mess. Who had the time and energy to help other races?

Later, everyone compromised, and after there was a surplus of the space virus isolation device, some was given to Carol so that she could help those races.

"Didn't Carol go to rescue those alien races?" Lin Yi asked, his brows furrowing. He activated his super vision, scanning the outer reaches of Earth.

Several large space transport ships of different races were anchored near Blue Star, most of them bearing signs of damage.

Those were signs of battle damage, likely from high-energy weapon bombardment. At first glance, although it resembled a transport ship, it didn't look like a friendly force.

In the far reaches of deep space, faint points of light are slowly approaching; these are other cosmic races still heading towards Earth.

Tony nodded, a complex expression on his face: "That's right, she believes the cosmic virus is related to Thanos, and Earth also bears some responsibility."

"I've been receiving replies from Carol frequently lately, and Carol has returned several times, taking away at least a hundred cosmic virus isolation devices. That's why I feel that something is wrong with the current situation."

He walked to Lin Yi's rocking chair, leaned against the window next to Lin Yi, and crossed his arms: "Do you know what's wrong with what I said?"

"If Carol told them, they should have sent an envoy to offer to buy the cosmic virus isolation device, or directly made a deal with Carol. Who would abandon their home planet and move their entire race to another planet when there is hope?"

As he spoke, Lin Yi narrowed his eyes and sat up straight: "There's a conspiracy involved here, as well as information we don't know about."

Tony snapped his fingers, his face saying, "You knew I was aware of this too." "That's exactly what I meant."

He straightened up and continued, picking up where Lin Yi left off: "There's nothing wrong with Carol's situation, and she didn't leak the information. The problem lies with StarNet."

"After the cosmic virus outbreak, the star network connecting most races in the universe was completely shut down. I also intercepted a lot of data before it was completely shut down, as you already know."

"But a problem has arisen. The StarNet was restarted by someone a while ago, which happened when we were in another universe."

"Then, a message, from an unknown source and sent by an unknown person, spread rapidly through the StarNet. The message was clear and pointed directly at our Blue Star, saying that our Blue Star possessed the power to end this disaster. Moreover, the specific information also hinted at another message, that the reason why Blue Star possessed this power was because of Blue Star's special characteristics."

"The message concludes with a prophecy that the universe is about to face an even greater catastrophe, and everything will come to an end."

"Although it wasn't explicitly stated, the implication was to guide those alien races to come to Earth in search of hope. I suspect that's one of the reasons."

"The captain believes that since the other side has expressed a desire for peace, and we are capable of providing some assistance, we should demonstrate humanitarianism..."

Lin Yi's face instantly showed disgust. As expected of the captain.

Rogers proposed planning a temporary settlement in a remote, uninhabited area, such as a desert island or desert region, to allow a portion of the population and necessary survival equipment to land there, and then monitor them closely.

And if it really comes to that, even if they win, there's no guarantee that Earth won't be completely destroyed.

Tony had originally intended to stall for time until Lin Yi returned. He was relieved to see Lin Yi come back so quickly.

He had witnessed Lin Yi's abilities firsthand; his incredible physical attributes were the very reason why Blue Star could reject everything.
