Chapter 371 The Crown

Professor McGonagall led Ron and Draco away from the scene.

Predictably, regardless of the cause, neither of them will escape severe punishment.

Before leaving, Ron silently moved his lips in the direction of Maurice and Harry, as if to say: Wait for me to come back.

As the crowd gradually dispersed, Harry stood there, turned to look at Maurice, and asked with a puzzled expression, "Why were they fighting?"

""

Logically speaking, although Ron is reckless and impulsive, he certainly wouldn't do something so foolish in a restaurant.

Unless Malfoy says something that he finds completely unbearable.

"Regarding this question, I suggest you ask someone else," Morris said, turning his head and glancing across the crowd before spotting Fred leaning against the wall.

He was watching the fun too.

Speaking of which, since Fred is here, why doesn't he help his little brother?

Oh, Ron is the one with the upper hand.

That's fine.

Strangely, of the Weasley twins, only Fred was leaning against the wall, while George was nowhere to be seen.

The two brothers were always inseparable and rarely acted alone.

Morris stepped forward and asked, "Why are you alone today? Where's George?"

Fred shrugged. "George hurt his leg while doing experiments yesterday... Don't worry, he'll be fine in a couple of days."

He pointed in the direction Ron and Draco had left, a slight smile playing on his lips. "Ah, let's talk about what happened earlier. Ron did a good job, didn't he? That punch was really scary; I was afraid Malfoy would have collapsed on the spot."

As he spoke, he swung his fist, nearly hitting Morris in the nose.

Harry frowned. "And why were they fighting?"

This is what he's most concerned about right now.

"I don't know," Fred shook his head, "but Malfoy definitely struck first. Don't worry, with so many people watching, Malfoy's punishment will definitely be more severe than Ron's. And neither of them used magic; at most, they'll get two weeks of confinement and some house points deducted. I have a lot of experience in this area."

Hearing this, Harry breathed a slight sigh of relief.

Malfoy struck first, but Ron gained the upper hand.

This result seems perfectly acceptable.

"Ron is a prefect; he shouldn't have done that."

A voice suddenly came from the side.

Harry turned around, surprised. "Hermione? When did you get here?"

"Just now." Hermione sighed, clutching several heavy books. "I've been in the library all day, just looking for something to eat, and then I saw Ron in trouble... Well, maybe it wasn't Ron's fault... Is there anything else to eat?"

Morris turned to look at the dining table, which had been cleaned up spotlessly, without a single food scrap left.

"You're too late," he said. "I suggest you go straight to the kitchen and find the house-elves; they never refuse any student's request... By the way, how's your house-elf rights advocacy going?"

Speaking of house-elves, he remembered that last semester, Hermione created an organization called the "House-Elf Rights Promotion Association" and was recruiting people everywhere.

I don't know how things are going.

"I won't give up," Hermione answered without hesitation, "but I can't change the house-elves' minds right now. I'm trying to achieve that goal in a different way."

"I advise you to give up," Harry sighed from the side.

Hermione snorted and didn't answer.

She was clearly very stubborn about keeping Pokémon at home.

Harry clearly understood that Hermione wouldn't be easily persuaded, so he stopped trying to convince her.

Morris roughly understood that Hermione's actions regarding the house-elves were not progressing well.

That's pretty much the end of our chat.

"I'm leaving now. I hope there are still some cookies left from Ginny's last trip," Hermione said, clutching her book.

She didn't want to bother the house-elves who worked in the kitchen, as Maurice had suggested.

"I'll wait for Ron here." Harry waved to Hermione. "Goodbye."

About half an hour later, only the three of them remained in the restaurant, and Ron finally returned.

The wound on the corner of his mouth had healed, and it was almost impossible to tell that he had bled. He just looked tired and dazed.

Harry immediately rushed over and asked, "How did Professor McGonagall punish you?"

Ron rubbed his forehead. "Gryffindor and Slytherin each lost thirty points, and that's it. As for Malfoy... he was put in solitary confinement for an extra two weeks."

"That's fair," Morris said.

Logically, Ron should be quite happy with this punishment, since Malfoy received an extra penalty compared to him.

Losing a few points is no big deal.

Look at Fred and George, they lose points, big and small, almost every month.

But Ron's expression was very serious.

"What's wrong?" Harry keenly sensed something was amiss.

Ron thought for a moment and said, "I know what Malfoy is looking for in the Room of Requirement."

really.

Morris nodded to himself.

It's likely that Ron obtained the information using Legilimency while he was fighting Malfoy.

But then again, although Ron learned Legilimency from him, when did he become so powerful?

Could it be that Ron has a real talent for this?

Morris looked Ron up and down.

...not like it.

"Stop keeping me in suspense, Ron. What exactly is Malfoy looking for?!" Harry immediately pressed.

“A crown,” Ron said, “and he’s found it.”

"A tiara?" Harry scratched his head. "What does he need that for?"

"I don't know much, but Malfoy definitely took a tiara from the Room of Requirement," Ron said with absolute certainty. "That tiara looked valuable, which is why Malfoy went to get it."

That's a really simple and straightforward thought process.

“No,” Harry said firmly, “I think there’s definitely a conspiracy. The Malfoys aren’t short of money, why would they spend so much time looking for a tiara? What do you think, Maurice?”

He turned to look at Maurice, as if wanting to hear his opinion.

Morris stroked his chin, not answering immediately.

A crown...

He always felt that this was a very sensitive issue.

Perhaps it really is related to Voldemort?

Why don't you go and ask Malfoy yourself?

If he wanted to, Malfoy would have absolutely no way to hide anything from him.

"In short, further investigation is needed," Morris said.

Harry and Ron both agreed.

After leaving the restaurant, Maurice immediately returned to his dormitory.

He felt that someone might be able to provide some useful information.

"Tom."

Morris waved his right hand.

The skeletal wolf's figure immediately appeared on the blue carpet.
