Chapter 21 The Wizarding Division's Convenience Store

The silver-haired loli followed closely behind the young wizard, her timid eyes darting around.

The boys gathered curiously in front of the convenience store window next to the staircase to heaven.

The shop owner was a goblin, who looked rather old. He wore reading glasses, sat on a high stool inside the glass window, and was reading a newspaper. He asked in a slow, deliberate voice, "Children, what would you like to eat?"

"I've heard that the snacks at the Wizarding Division are quite special," said the bespectacled boy, Schneider, who had heard about it.

"That's right! I suggest you try your luck. Every kind of wizard candy has a different taste and effect. Some are very delicious, some taste terrible but can increase lifespan, and some can even enhance meditation." The goblin put down his newspaper and made his recommendations.

"How much does it cost?"

"Each wizard's candy retails for one silver dollar. One box contains one hundred and twenty candies."

The boys pulled out silver coins and threw them on the table, and the goblin generously took out boxes, letting them choose whatever they wanted.

Little Fatty Dak couldn't wait to tear open the packaging and eat the candy. The outside was coated with a layer of sweet chocolate, but the inside was full of bitter taste.

Similar elevator platforms are not uncommon in the various mage towers of the royal capital. However, the history of the Wizarding Academy's Sky Ladder is much longer.

The initial construction of the floating inscription was quite complex and required a large area. Later, through generations of improvements and simplifications, the required area was successfully reduced to one-fifth.

"Floors seven through twelve of the Wizard Tower are the activity areas for students from first to sixth grade. Above are the offices and laboratories of the professors and deans, and below are the large library, storage rooms, activity rooms, potion material warehouses, and the mission center..." Alice gave a general overview. Each floor is over seven meters high, and the seventh floor is nearly fifty meters high.
