"What happened? Where is everyone?"

Riddle rode the basilisk through Hogwarts, smashing countless walls, doors, and paintings. He turned the entire Hufflepuff dormitory upside down. He took out the Black Notebook, merged his soul with Serena's body, and then with the basilisk, thus allowing the basilisk to open its eyes and unleash its full power.

Based on Riddle's experience, even if an alarm were raised, Hogwarts students wouldn't be able to run that fast; his arrogance made him completely trust his own judgment in everything.

"Here it is~"

After merging with the basilisk, Riddle shared the basilisk's sense of smell. The aroma of food wafted from the main gate. Sharing the basilisk's senses, he naturally shared its hunger as well. He couldn't resist the temptation of his prey and twisted his body as he rushed towards the school gate.

A tremendous sound rang out as he slammed into a stone wall that had been reinforced with countless layers of magic. The violent impact instantly brought his eyes, which had been blinded by hunger, back to their normal state, and human consciousness once again took over.

"Damn it." Riddle looked at the stone wall in front of him, opened the basilisk's mouth, and sprayed venom from its mouth. The venom, which was both magical and highly corrosive, sprayed onto the stone wall, intending to corrode it.

"Stone blocks deployed!"

Riddle didn't even look up at the roof. Professor McGonagall, blindfolded, rode on a flying broom and successfully cast a wide-ranging Advanced Transfiguration spell. The stone knight statues on the ground and walls seemed to come alive and jumped down from the walls. Hundreds of stone knights walked towards the basilisk, striking its body again and again with their stone weapons.

These stone weapons could not break through the basilisk's defenses. The basilisk could easily sweep away a large area with a flick of its tail. It was even more disdainful of Hogwarts' defenses. It looked up at Professor McGonagall, who was blindfolded, and shot out venom from its mouth like a water gun. However, although Professor McGonagall was old, she could easily dodge the venom even with her eyes covered.

"Shadow Devour!"

The Corruption Curse, Shadow Devouring Curse, Fiendfyre Curse, and Soul Tear Curse were continuously fired at the basilisk's body. The basilisk's body became rotten and charred, but it showed no signs of exhaustion whatsoever, just as it had when it emerged from the Chamber of Secrets. On the other hand, everyone at Hogwarts wore specially made sunglasses. Although they had all practiced fighting at night, their nighttime combat experience was negligible in this situation.

Students kept getting sprayed with the venom, resulting in casualties. The venom's toxins were so potent that anyone sprayed with it was essentially unable to fight.

In the sky, the bombing squad continued to drop bombs on the basilisk, but the effect was not good. Even after they blew the basilisk's bones out, the basilisk did not slow down its attack. On the contrary, the stench emanating from its wounds was so strong that it made some of the team members' bombing accuracy decrease.

"The opportunity has arrived!"

Lockhart observed Hogwarts every day, and this time, seeing everyone at Hogwarts busy fighting the Basilisk, he saw it as the perfect opportunity for his revenge.

He revealed his demonic form and led the corrupted followers from Hogsmeade toward Hogwarts. These people from Hogsmeade were merely cannon fodder he brought with him. For some reason, none of them were demons, even though he had corrupted most of Hogsmeade.

Lockhart twisted his body, leading a group of believers to the edge of Hogwarts. After confirming that the teachers and students were busy fighting the boss, he felt relieved and swaggered into the Hogwarts grounds. Then, he casually touched a string and rang the bell hanging on the tree next to him.

A rustling sound arose, and Lockhart looked down to see that the cabbages on the ground had grown teeth. Then they jumped out of the ground and began to tear at Lockhart and the others.

"Chinese cabbage that bites!"

One of the believers recognized the cabbages. They could only pat and crush them. Since their fall into Slaanesh, their magical abilities had grown stronger and stronger, and their god had never responded to them. As a result, they could no longer use magic or Slaanesh abilities.

"Just a bunch of cabbages."

Lockhart was helpless against these cabbages, but now that he was a demon, they could do little harm to him. He could easily tough it out and walk into Hogwarts, but he needed these cannon fodder to draw fire for him. He believed that the merciful Dumbledore would not dare to attack these cannon fodder.

As Lockhart thought this, four tridents appeared in his hands, and he kept using Rot on the biting cabbage. The plant couldn't withstand the corruption and was instantly reduced to ashes.
