Harry Potter, the savior of Night City
Chapter 52 A boy's blush is more powerful than any sweet words.
"Damn it!" Harry stood up, clutching his stomach. The soldier who had knocked him away bumped his head against the doorframe a few times before he learned to bend down to enter the house. His IQ was even lower than that of the previous soldiers, number 16 and 24.
"Immediately imprison them!"
Harry conjured his wand and cast a spell on the soldier. Sure enough, like his other kind, the soldier didn't bother to dodge something that seemed harmless. The Binding Charm hit him, and as Harry had expected, the soldier instantly stood at attention. Harry immediately followed up with a Petrify Charm to ensure the soldier wouldn't break free.
"Click, click, click."
A sickening scraping sound rang out as the petrification spell covering the soldier cracked under his immense power. Gleaming magical fragments fell off his body one by one, landing on the ground and disappearing. The people of Night City have low magic resistance, but even though the child is simple-minded, he's incredibly strong.
Harry didn't waste any more time. Time was running out, and if this guy managed to kill him, he'd be in for a world of trouble. He activated his Sinwidman and ran towards the door. Taking the elevator was definitely out of the question; there were countless people waiting downstairs. So, the only option was to use the emergency exit.
Thinking this, Harry immediately pulled up the map in the data and rushed towards the emergency exit. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The damned corporate dogs blocked the emergency exit with a protective door the moment they received the alarm. This protective door was thicker than a TM tank, and even the Blazing White Mantis Blade would have to cut it for a while.
With no other option, Harry could only close Swansea's door and ask Lucy what was going on with it.
"Lucy, is this door locked?"
"Although I don't know what the trigger condition is for your hacker prosthetic, I regret to inform you that this thing has no lock. It simply got stuck in a slot designed under the floor after it slammed into the ground with its weight."
"Then I can't open it. Can you open it illegally?"
"Okay, but you need to buy me some time. Keep an eye on the security camera behind you so I can shift my gaze to the door."
"Okay." Harry looked up at the surveillance camera, and Lucy took control of it, turning it into her own device.
"OK, hacking in." Lucy began to break through the security door. "If all goes well, the biotech security robots will arrive soon to buy me some time."
"Intruder detected, stabilizing the situation." As soon as Lucy finished speaking, a mechanical voice sounded, and a door behind the elevator opened, leading to the large room that Harry hadn't searched. Inside, there were synchronized footsteps, and a group of bright green robots carrying guns walked out. They immediately locked onto Harry and opened fire on him.
Harry couldn't stray too far from the door, so he could only use magic and bullets for ranged attacks. He knocked down a Request robot as cover and hid behind it, occasionally extending his wand and firing at Yinglong.
"What kind of aesthetic sense do these corporate geeks in biotech have? Everything is green." Harry complained about the aesthetic sense of biotech companies while taking out a grenade and throwing it at the robots.
"Petrify them all! Immediately bind them!" He leaned out despite the bullets and fired a spell at the robots. The petrification worked on the robots, but the binding spell didn't have much effect on them. After being bound for a while, it lost its effectiveness.
However, Yinglong is particularly effective against these robots. Basically, every time one is destroyed, the resulting electromagnetic explosion can shut down four or five robots. Against these non-humans, the magic spell is not as effective as the weapon.
One robot after another fell down. Harry dealt with these grunts relatively easily, but before he could even catch his breath, the soldier who had just been restrained had completely broken free of the spell and stormed out of the room. After slamming his head against the door frame several times, he managed to smash through a few pieces of the wall and successfully walked out.
At this moment, the elevator started running, and it went up from the first floor.
Replenish!
More monsters are coming, and Harry is tagging Lucy in the channel, asking, "How much longer?"
"Give me another one..."
"Lucy, coordinate with me," Qiwei's voice came through the channel. "I hacked a transport drone to send Pira and Rebecca down. They're currently drawing away some of the monsters with Main and the others, but they're running low. We need to get Harry down quickly. If they can escape this time, the biotechnology won't be able to continue pursuing them!"
"Okay, Harry, we'll work together to solve it. You just need to stall for another minute."
Harry received the message, looked up at the soldier, who ripped off his prosthetic mask, revealing his heavily modified face, just to yell at Harry. He then tried to shove the mask into his face, but when he couldn't, he simply tossed it aside and charged at Harry with flames shooting from the jetpack on his leg.
Harry pulled out his wand and cast "Swift Imprisonment" on the guy again. The soldier was once again hit by the spell and started standing in place as punishment. But this time he was smarter. As soon as he was forced to stand, he started twisting his body and trying to break free of the magic's hard control with his own powerful strength. But it was useless. Harry's speed in casting spells was faster than the soldier's ability to break free. When he was hard-controlled for the third time, Harry could even feel the soldier blushing from his highly modified face.
"Click".
The protective door behind him was opened, and Harry cast a spell on the soldier for the fourth time. Poor soldier, he couldn't even break free from the third spell and was once again forced to stand in place as punishment.
Harry activated the Sinwidman and rushed downstairs. The Sinwidman was overloaded and rushed downstairs at top speed each time.
On the 29th floor, the elevator finally arrived. Five genetically engineered soldiers and a biotechnology security captain arrived. The doors slowly opened, revealing walls shattered by grenades, robot wreckage scattered everywhere, ordinary researchers trembling in the experimental area, and soldiers being punished by standing in the corner.
The security captain walked up to the big guy. "Number 5, what happened... Never mind, I forgot how terrible your communication skills are. Just give me the data. Well... um, let's play that data transfer game we played before, let's play it again."
The soldier, who had been punished by the curse, broke free of the curse again when he saw the security captain. He then hugged the security captain with one hand and pointed to the opened security passage with the other, bursting into tears. He didn't want to play the data transfer game anymore; he just wanted to vent his grievances.
"Let go! You bastard, let go!" The security captain slapped at Number 5's hand hard, trying to break free from Number 5's increasingly tight embrace.
-------
Meanwhile, Harry had arrived on the first floor and was urging Lucy and Kevy to quickly break through the security door.
"I hate houses with windowless emergency exits." Harry could only stand there as punishment, staring at the door so that Lucy and Kevy could use his eyes to figure it out.
"Click".
The two hackers worked together and quickly opened the door. Harry peeked out and found himself in the lobby on the first floor. The security guards and genetically engineered soldiers were beating up Mann and his group. Thanks to the low intelligence and playful nature of these genetically engineered soldiers, they were basically playing with Mann and his friends like mice. So when they realized that Mann and his group didn't have Sianwistan, these mischievous kids refused to open Sianwistan in order to keep playing and just kept going with Mann and his group.
"Since nobody's paying attention to me, I'm going to steal your butts!" Harry conjured a wand, activated Sionstein, and ran out the door, ready to launch a blatant sneak attack.
